I saw Matilda Sat Aug 2nd matinee with Milly as Matilda, and was blown away. That is how I learned about Tim, and I have done little but watch Tim and Matilda videos on YouTube since. Naughty, When I Grow Up, and the version of Hayley doing Quiet are the best. Love Tim’s music and comedy, and his politics don’t suck either.

I so hope Matilda the Musical comes to Melbourne. Otherwise, it’s a very compelling case for travelling to London!!

Many, many years from now, people will still be performing ‘Matilda,’ and the play that won best musical and best score will be a trivia question. Thanks Tim.

Tim, I just wanted you to know that we are just all so proud of you here. We were disappointed for you that you didn’t get a personal Tony for your beautifully original music and lyrics, but intelligence and class will always win out and we’re sure ‘Matilda’ will run for years. (We’re coming to London later this year, largely because we want to see it!) We were blown away by your Judas in Sydney last weekend. It was such a powerful and moving performance and who knew you could also dance?! Next for us is “Rosencrantz” and we will be there with bells on to give our support and cheer you on. Rock on Tim – you’re a ‘one and only’, that’s for sure!!
