I was playing in Irish media sites on you tube, and ram into The Pope Song. I was instantly entranced. I sent LULLABY to my mom, who swears she wrote it. The lyrics are great, and unorthodox, so they’re fun, but green God feet, you play like I can’t hear right much less see enough and I’ve played my whole life.
I would desperately love to see your show live, but im in Alabama, and im not entirely sure they would let you leave lol. It’s an honor and thrill to have found your work.
My regards to your wife and family.

PS Would your wife kill me if I started stalking you?

I agree with the others on this page have said. You are so brilliant and entertaining. I could name a ton of wonderful superlatives but I wouldn’t want it to go to your head! You had me at Ginger – the first song I heard from you. Yes, please come to America. I know of many who would love to be able to see you in person. You’re the best!

Dear Sir,

Came across your videos on YouTube as a causal link on two Pandora sites: Stephen Lynch and Eddie Izzard. From the moment I played “If I Didn’t Have You” I was entranced.
Then moving onto “The Dark Side”, I was completely mesmerized by the formidable and unmitigated talent I was being allowed to witness. After The Dark Side, all I could think was, “It is like finding a treasure chest”, and “My Dad would have ADORED you.” And he was quite the player himself in the day.

I hope to visit the UK in the next year or so, and I also have aspirations that I might find myself on the receiving end of one of your brilliant performances. If I am unable to make the trip, I hope you would consider a US tour, and don’t forget us here in sunny Southern California (San DIego to be exact). It would most definitely rank right up there in one of my greatest memories of British talent, right alongside say, my ecstatic joy of having the pleasure of seeing Mr. Hugh Laurie perform the first show of US tour recreating his album/songs from “Let Them Talk.” He is amazing talent as well, and was a complete joy to watch. Please let us unworthy Americans be a part of your extraordinary and incomparable musicianship, and allow us to bathe in some of the most wittiest rhetoric I have ever had the pleasure to absorb. Thanks again for this wonderful gift of your talent and please keep up the good work.
