Hello Tim! I got your DVD on Thursday...it took a good 3 days of straight chores and nagging, but it happened. And I must admit, it was worth it! Did I mention I was rolling on the floor with laughter? I love the bit about the hungry hungry hippos! LOS ANGELES, ACME THEATRE: I see a lot of live shows - comedy and theatre - and only two times in my life have been compelled to be one of the first to jump up in a standing ovation. Last night was one of them. (The other shall remain umentioned due to reasons involving a mistress, misappropriated funds and an incident involving the temporary loss of function in one of my balls.) I had never heard of Tim Minchin before last week, but I expect I will be hearing and seeing much of this vivacious virtuoso in years to come. It was more than entertainment, it was goddamned inspirational!

I left my Tim Minchin canvas bag on the tram the other day and no one has handed it in to lost property. It had great sentimental value as it was one of the first lot, got it at the Comedy Festival gig 2005 just prior to going to Japan for a year - where it served me well, travelling all around the Land of the Rising Sun with me and stopping well-meaning Japanese service staff from providing me with enough plastic bags to kill several schools of dolphins. Your comedy is catching on like wildfire here in the states Tim. Please look into getting your show into some venues other than in NYC, LA or Vegas when you pop over to the us. Those are nice places to appear but hell to get to for folks who don't live in those cities already. Loads of folks here would love to come see your act who can't get to, or aren't located in those mammoth cities.
