Mark on Wednesday, 31 December 2008

It's a shame you wasn't on the Graham Norton show longer. I saw you was on an advert and I watched like 40 mins of that insufferable 'comedian' and all that we got was a few mins. Nevermind :) Have a lavly new years mate :) x

Laura C on Wednesday, 31 December 2008

Having spent Boxing day in my PJ's with just my 'wife' Kate and Tim's DVD for company, with the 4 kids all away at their father's, it was, quite frankly, the best Boxing Day ever!! After seeing the live show in Milton Keynes in November, during a very very difficult time in my life, thank goodness the delectable Tim put the smile back on my face!! And kept it there!! The children are no longer ashamed as we perform 'Canvas Bag' throught he aisles of the supermarket, although my 6 year old son is quite disturbed that mummy is introducing him to 'guy liner'. We count the seconds until we can see Tim again - we would've gone on the 16th but it's our middle son Finn's birthday and I don't think a 7 year old can appreciate the comedy value of the genius that is fabulous Tim! Anyway, Happy New Year and big fat hug xx

Big G on Wednesday, 31 December 2008

What a comedian!! What a talent!! What a genius!! Nuff said. (See you next time you're in Scotland)

A on Wednesday, 31 December 2008

It's New Year's Eve and I have had So F**king Rock in my possession for over a month and managed to save it to watch this evening. I'm not sure if that makes me a less devoted fan, a bit sad not to have 'going out plans' on NYE or a fine example of someone who can, on occasion, exercise impulse control. But I am very excited that I, and my husband, will finally get to watch it tonight and see the new year in with a guaranteed laugh. All the best for 2009 Tim! May it bring health, wealth and happiness. (May I just point out to Lee that shortening Never Mind The Buzzcocks to NMTB is an acronym not an anagram. Lest he may need the distinction to pass his A levels.)

Those of us with large vocabularies in the east of the USA--all 273 of us--wish you would come visit! (You can stay at my house if Mom says it's OK.)

Rob Sanders on Wednesday, 31 December 2008

Dude on your lyrics for inflatable you y does it have loadsa pound signs in it and some word spelt incorrectly by the way im not actually a bastard trying to diss your english grammar skill but i thought it had 2 b said and for only hearing your name on the graham norton show which is now yesterday as ive been up all night searching the net for your songs and youtube videos to watch i thought that your a stroke of fucking comical genius and you are an immense pianist and i also thin kthat you should do a UK tour as im sure a fuck load of people would appreciate and support you and maybe a few bum buddies will follow you around the country and if not im sure some of the people i know would be happy to do it lol

Lee Kiddell on Wednesday, 31 December 2008

It's not like I've just seen you on the Graham Norton show and have spent the last hour looking at videos of your songs on YouTube and looking on various sites for your CDs and DVD...because I haven't...what?...seriously, what?...ok stop grilling me! I have, ok?! Oh god, I need help! On a more "I haven't just been doing crack and am now paranoid about who is grilling me about a comedian (and musician, don't want to demean your career in any way) that I have just now learnt the name of" note, and in between the oh so long sentences that really could be cut down if I had just decided to bullet point this and not note down my thoughts straight into this comment box, I just want to say that you are hilarious. I know you hear this from everyone who has been on here and left you a (what I would imagine to be a much shorter) comment or has stopped you in the street or examined your prostate, I still have an urge to express my view. To break up what seems to be an essay by now, a new paragraph has been created. I have seen you on Never Mind The Buzzcocks (which I will condense down to the anagram of NMTB to save space and effort in reading) and I thought you were funny but never caught your name and after seeing you on Graham Norton I was straight on the ol' computer and Google'd your good self. I love your kind of comedy and I really hope I will be able to make it to one of your live shows or at the least see some more you on the box because you are already up there as one of my favourite comedians and when I get your CDs and DVD I will probably learn them off by heart instead of revising for my A-Levels - we all have to make our sacrifices. Also, I hear you live in England - good choice sir! :) Happy New Year :)

Karl Andre Bru on Wednesday, 31 December 2008

I would suggest that it can be empirically proven that you are a rather funny chap. Can't wait to see your show in Oslo sometime in the future.

Dear Tim. You're a stupid, hairy twat who has a monkey for a face and dead ducks for ears. And you will stay this way until you do a gig in Stockholm. Please? Think of the children. Think of them!

Michelle on Monday, 29 December 2008

Oh Tim. My sister has taken my 'So F**king Rock' DVD with her to uni (along with the lovely photo of you ruffling her red hair on the 22nd) and I feel rather deprived. I might have to buy 'So Live' to cheer myself up. Good idea? Good idea. I look forward to 2009- it brings with it hopes of seeing you live a couple more times. xxx

Sander R. on Monday, 29 December 2008

I also just discovered you because of the video Storm. Which by the way you HAVE to put online asap; it'll be a viral explotion. Great, original, unanticipated and unique. I know those last three words are almost synonyms, but thanks for being different!

I was instantly fascinated by Milton with his literary name and impressive title. Google shows me he's got his own website (http://web.mac.com/miltmerm/MM/Home.html), where I discovered that his name is only one of many interesting things about him :) *high fives Milton* And Tim, hope your Christmas/New Year season is full of fun and even frolics. I got Mark Watson Makes The World Substantially Better, so he, you and Mr Key are keeping me giggling. Thanks xx

Milton on Saturday, 27 December 2008

Dear Tim, What a pleasure to discover your witty, informed, superbly musical and brilliant work. Your performances of 'Storm' at the Godless shows where among the most satisfying audience experiences in my life. Please release/make available ASAP! Many congratulations and thanks for your amazing work. Milton Mermikides Professor of Composition Royal Academy of Music London, England

Chris Crookall on Saturday, 27 December 2008

Hey there, I saw a you tube video of you and thought it was great stuff, then I got your 'So Fucking Rock' DVD for Christmas, sat there and watched the entire thing, liked it a hell of a lot. I'll have to see you in Edinburgh!

Anna on Friday, 26 December 2008

Never heard of you (sorry!) until I saw you at "Nine Lessons...". Fantastic! LOVED "Storm".

Sarah on Friday, 26 December 2008

Tim, we saw you in High Wycombe, so I bought the DVD for my son. We all sat and watched it last night and it was bloody FANTASTIC! You bring happiness into people's lives. Please, please, please can you bring out a DVD which has Ginger, and the Storm beat poem etc.? the stuff you did at High Wycombe. Please. I'll be your bitch forver *grin* Which is probably not likely to get me anywhere, but it's gotta be worth a try?

Becca on Friday, 26 December 2008

I think you are fantastically funny. I just sat very awkwardly with my aunt and uncle watch So Fucking Rock. It was so worth it though. You Grew On Me almost made me cry. It made me think of my boyfriend =] Thank you for writing awesome songs. x

Keith on Wednesday, 24 December 2008

Hey Tim, Caught you at the Nine Lesson..blah ..for Godless People show at Hammersmith. Thought your beat poem "Storm" was really excellent both in content and delivery and was a great way to end the show. It's reassuring that we have people like you spreading the naturlistic world view in a funny and entertaining way and taking the piss out of religion and indeed all supernatural mumbo jumbo. Will religion ever just fuck off and die ?

deanna on Wednesday, 24 December 2008

hiyya tim i just wanter to say you are really really fit i love your stuff that poem angry (feet) made me laugh so much and i love all your stuff woo!

anonymous on Wednesday, 24 December 2008

Excellent stuff Tim! Your work reminds me of a cross between Bill Bailey (His language, intellect and music-based comedy), Jason Mraz (His fast paced, cleverly worded, rhyming songs) and the Flight of the Conchords (For their *seemingly* accidental humour). Glad to discover a fresh new stand-up routine. Looking forward to seeing you live here in the UK.

Sarah on Wednesday, 24 December 2008

Hi Tim, I just wanted to thank you for entertaining me on my very long drive home for Christmas yesterday. I've just got Sit from a kind Angry (Feet)er so was able to enjoy some Timmy the Dog along with all the other stuff. Anyway, wishing you and your family a very merry Christmas. I hope Santa brings your Optimus Prime helmet. x

MIRO on Tuesday, 23 December 2008

You're so clever :)...seriosly I like your music. Thanks

Michelle_N on Tuesday, 23 December 2008

You know, Tim, yesterday morning before the gig I started worrying that I had built my hopes too high. I mean, I knew you were amazing but I thought that I may have set my expectations to an impossible standard somewhere amongst the exitement. Well, after last night I can tell you that I was definitely Not Ready For That. The show was incredible, and that is an understatement. All the new material (well, new to me) was everything I had hoped for and more. Storm was a masterpiece- I'd heard people's high praises for it, but even though I was expecting brilliance I was blown away. 'I Love Jesus', 'The Good Book', 'Predjudice' and 'If I Didn't Have You' were fucking incredible. Once again, your stand up was clever and the audience banter was perfect. It was good to say hi and see you not-on-stage for the first time too. Thank you very much for an incredible first Tim Minchin gig (because there will surely be more) and I wish you a very Happy Christmas and a wonderful New Year. xxx

Issie on Tuesday, 23 December 2008

I LOVE YOU A LOT!!!!!!!! ... and so does Maisie

Jodie on Tuesday, 23 December 2008

Jazzamine on Tuesday, 23 December 2008

Why Hello again, It's been a while since i've checked out the site. OH YES IT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED I AM GETTING YOUR DVD FOR XMAS AND DARKSIDE AND SO ROCK WOOP WOOP. Of course it's not the same as seeing you live but I'll just have to put up with it until you tour england again :) I hope your tour of Austrailia is going well, and that you and your family are well because no-one should be down or ill on xmas like i was last year :( Ya know it is hard to believe that you trained yourself to play piano as well as you do ! Exams are coming up and i'm depending on your wonderfully entertaining voice on my ipod to get me though them okay ?!! "happy little africaaaanns" best be off Jaz.x

Hi Tim! I am amused by all the americans now flooding your guestbook/blog/myspace since the BBC America airing of the Graham Norton show. And feeling quite a bit smug that I'm so far ahead of the rest of them on knowing how great you are. ^_^ Can't wait until the Roundhouse - anticipating this trip is getting me through the yucky parts of the holidays. ~♥

I just saw you on The Graham Norton Show. I hope you don't mind, but I blogged about seeing you and enjoying your song, and provided links to your website and a link to a You Tube video that someone else had uploaded that was the same song you performed on the show. I plan on buying both of your albums and your DVD after the holidays. I hope you can ship to America.

I was wondering though, my boyfriend and I are coming to see you on the 21st of March and it's his birthday so i was wondering if there would be any chance at all that we could meet you?! It would mean the world to us. Thanks for all the laughs. Looking forward to March:) Love Lauren

Hi Tim. I've been listening to white wine in the sun for three days straight now (metaphorically; I suppose that I slept a bit) and it's still freakin' awesome! I really want to come and see you live some time so is there any chance you'll ever play in devon? (Plymouth Pavillions get good crouds if your interested) I know personally about 20 people who'd come and see you so there must be loads of us minchin fans down here in the south-west of England. I look forward to any reply I may or may not recieve and just want to say the obvious thing that i'm sure everybody else says too: "Tim, you rock!"

Hi Tim, Have recently been made aware of your existance via the Humanist wesite (bit of serendipity there!)--can't believe I've never come accross your stuff before. So after peeking at you in youtube, I bit the bullit and bought your DVD. Sparklingly great 10/10. I also think you are extremely attractive, in a slightly wierd way (the wierdness being my problem, not yours and is probobly because I'm old enough to be your mother!!)

Stevie on Monday, 15 December 2008

Hey. I have now watched every single video on Youtube that might contain even an iota of Minchin-ness. And read maaany, many articles. And Booked tix to the Roundhouse show next Jan. And printed out 12 Tim pictures for my poster wall. And had a bath.* And eaten a bagel.* And now I'm leaving notes on here because I've run out of ideas for enjoying the genius of Tim Minchin. MAS. *not directly Tim related, more to try and distract me from my infatuation.

Clare on Monday, 15 December 2008

Hey, I just discovered you today when watching an episode of 'Nevermind The Buzzcocks' (awesome show!) on YouTube. I then browsed YouTube to hear/watch more of your stuff. Great stuff! You're REALLY funny and REALLY gorgeous!

melissa15678 on Sunday, 14 December 2008

Ahhh nothing can beat having a break from writing my Uni Essay to listen to 'Bitch' and have a bit of a sing-a-long! Such wonderful music that must not be forgotten, and never will. Your music helps me procrastinate a little from the importance of my work but all is well and I am on track (...track 6!) Enjoy you're upcoming shows and I hope you are very well. Melissa. x

Greg on Sunday, 14 December 2008

Bravo. May the world shower you with glory (and, with luck, money). I'll need to find a way to make it Australia or Englandland to see you play live rather than just watch So Live and pretend I'm a ghost who can't manage to sit still and possesses strange eyes made of zooming lenses. Here's to luck.

Michelle on Saturday, 13 December 2008

I am home and completely free of any illnesses. I presented my siblings with your DVD and a large bowl of popcorn to prepare them. Yes, that is right, in nine days I will be in London at the Southbank centre! Hooray for good hygiene and my excellent immune system. See you soon, enjoy a few more days of rest. xxxx (PS: I giggled at the mental image of you and Duke fencing. Come on, that would be pretty amusing.)

Linzy on Friday, 12 December 2008

I agree entirely with Liza's sentiments. x

Liza (wickedlibrarian) on Friday, 12 December 2008

Hi Tim- I've been snooping around on the Duke Special forums, and it seems that you've converted a few his fans onto your side. I sure hope that Duke guy doesn't end up challenging you to a sword-fight as well. While I have no doubt that you'd emerge victorious, I'd rather not have either of my favorite piano-players going at each other with pointy things. ~♥

Everybody seems to be leaving coments adressing Tim like they know him like a very good friend... i feel extreamly left out! anyway just wanted to post a comment to say how obbsessed i am with this Tim guy to the point that it is part of my daily ritual to come home form school and youtube him, so much so that ive used up all my mums internet gig thingys, yay! i forced my music teacher to play 'dark side' yesterday in class and everyone was in tears of laughter and all my friends then claimed that they were in love with tim as well (eg. "im sorry skyla, but i am going to have to steal tim minchin from you")i really REALLY want somebody to teach me how to play the we dont eat pigs song, or any of his songs really and does anybody here know of any piano sheet music? please?! ps. in dark side: "it doesnt apeal to the teenage market" is SO completly untrue, it doesnt apeal to the typical idiotic teenage market with the IQ of 3.

Kat on Wednesday, 10 December 2008

Hello again. I'm flying to London to see you at the Roundhouse and I'm staying in a travelodge. *nods* I am so goddamn excited. I missed you at Glasgow, you see, 'cause I was at The Mighty Boosh that night and didn't know you were there anyway. I'm glad I didn't know because I would've been ridiculously conflicted. :P Oh, and I wouldn't have been able to fly to London either, so yes, it all works out OK. If I knew where you lived, I would so bring you cookies. :) I'd bake them myself. I've only done that once before (not stalked a celebrity with baked goods, just the baking part) and it was an accident. They were meant to be muffins...probably best I stay away, then. Have a very merry Christmas, enjoy the white wine in the sun. :) I'll see you on the sixteenth. *fingers crossed to be the bear*

I know it'll be worth it! I'm staying away from michelle and making sure she doesn't pass any of her icky germs onto me :P. Poor michelle mule the postwoman... I'll help you if the stress gets too much.

Michelle on Monday, 8 December 2008

Wearing mel's top, reminding Tim of his ever loving fan Sarah who couldn't make it on the 22nd due to being Canadian and living very far away... I seem to be a walking fan mail deliverer at the moment. I haven't even been to one yet. Just hand me a satchel and call me postman. Or postwoman, if you're going to get pedantic. Anyhow, six more people have run to the nurse with signs of severe sickness since I wrote the last post and I am taking all the vitamins and anti-ill stuff I can find. I'll get there. I'd bloody better or someone's going to be paying for a plane ticket to Australia next April. Mind you, they might be doing that anyway. If I can persuade them. I'll have to use my charming, disarming and somewhat alarming smile... xxx

Dear Tim, in relation to Michelle's guestbook contribution I have to say I also hope she gets to make it to see you on the 22nd. I am still incredibly saddened that I have not seen you live yet, but I hope that by michelle being there I feel a little part of me also will be. This is because she most likely will be wearing a top which she bought with some 'tim related' humourous writing on it from moi. I do hope you are enjoying a little rest and I urge you to put your feet up before you go to do it all over again in Aussie. Enjoy your Christmas! melissa. x

I'd like to use this page to publicly thank my Mum who has not only agreed to chaperone me to London but has also forked out a small fortune on a nearby hotel. What a sweetie. She doesn't get enough credit. I'm hoping to make it to the Roundhouse gig but it may clash with exams so we shall have to see.

Michelle on Monday, 8 December 2008

I might not be able to go see you on the 22nd. Everyone at my school is getting really sick. If I catch the bug I can't go. Not that I will catch it because I REFUSE to. I'm not letting some scummy little pathogen ruin my chance to see you live. But if, not that I will be, but IF I am not there, I would appreciate it if someone put something in my empty chair. Like a doll or a baby or a dog or a sponge or a banana. But I will be there. I HAVE to be. See you on the 22nd! Because I WILL. xxx

Cujo on Monday, 8 December 2008

Love your stuff! Your one of the most original comedians i have seen. I only wish that you would come to the U.S. So i could see you in person.

Liza (wickedlibrarian) on Monday, 8 December 2008

I would like to add on to annawaits' comment, and thank the clever Mr. Minchin for booking a venue so near (in both space and time) to Duke Special's gig on the 19th. That makes it so much easier for us visiting Americans to go to both. Did that on purpose, did you? Much appreciated, sir! ^_^

Alex (the smarties guy) on Monday, 8 December 2008

Hey Tim, i dont know if you'll read this or not, but im just writting to say how amazing your gig in the glasgow concert hall was. ive seen you live several times and it just keeps getting better. i'd also like to thank you for inviting me on stage with you for 'bears dont dig on dancing'. and by the way, i hope you enjoyed the smarties. lol =)

Nicholas on Monday, 8 December 2008

Hints of it came out in "Not Perfect" and a few other pieces as Ive listened to the jovial jaunts and sullen songs associated on you tube with the name Tim Minchin. I just finished listening to "White Wine in the Sun" ...Tim, Ive only been a musician for a year, fumbling around with a guitar, but music is about fun, that's the fist thing I had learned. If you or anyone else reads this I want you to know that you have transcended music and comedy into a realm where you bridge the gap between the two. With your genius you have carved yourself a new place in the commercial world of audio-entertainment. Or maybe that's just how I feel after listening to that beautiful song. Even if you are just a comedian, the best are the ones who keep you guessing at when they are joking and when they are serious. You are a master of your art. If you ever stop writing and singing and showing yourself to the world, we will all be poorer for the lack of you. And stairway to heaven never sounded better :)

Hello Tim .. Im Australian but being here in England I did some research on the Minchin Family .. As My great grandfather was William Minchin who came to New Zealand in the 1800's with several sons and a daughter .. His wife was Susanne Minchin .. They eventually moved to Atheton Qld Australia and my Grandfather was one of those boys .. Ive found some very interesting things here and simply wondered if you were related to them .. Away back they moved from glostershire to Tipparary in Ireland before going to NZ .. Most of itis as well in the book .. The Gentry Of Ireland .. I came all this way and here I here of Tim Minchin .. You must be doing something right mate lol .. Terrence Michael Sutton ( As well you can drop in for a read www. poetrypoem.com/aussiepoet )

Emma on Friday, 5 December 2008

Hey Tim, how are you doing? I no you still got a show or two left but I hope your UK tour went ok? I was at the show in Leicester you were incredible so if that show’s anything to go buy I’m sure it all went great and hopefully you didn’t have to many cunts shouting out shit like in Leicester (rude fucking bastard) but maybe you don’t remember that so you think I’m just mad MAS!! Any how I just want to say thank you so much for a great show it really was a brilliant birthday present to see my favourite comedian/muso live I really do love your stuff it’s so intelligent and mind grabbing. I also wanted to say a massive thank you for taking time out to say hi after the show it really did mean a lot and although you won’t remember I will for a long time especially since I got a amazing picture of us which I will treasure for a long time, you really are a truly great song writer Tim and I hope you keep it going for a very long time as well as all your other ventures. Good luck in your tour in Australia, hope to see you live again soon, lots of love to you Tim, darling, hope to hear from you maybe, love Em x-x-x

Caroline on Friday, 5 December 2008

daisyyy and jennyyy on Friday, 5 December 2008

Heyyy (: we came to see your show in huddersfield.. where they all wear shorts!! aharr. you were fucking brilliant, felt like you were watching us laugh the whole time though, which is rather embarrassing if you were (we were sat in front of the lighting guy in the stalls??) anyhoww, loved your show, we've been taking our canvas bags to the supermarket ever since!! loved the ginger song and the mildly autistic usher jokes (: hopefully we'll see you again soon.. love daisy and jenny xxx

Emma on Thursday, 4 December 2008

Ello! Im a brand spanking new fan of yours. My my my, where have you been hiding! Been gagging for some decent comedy for a while now. No need for the typical day to day stuff. Keep it random. Love the hair, few men can pull off eye liner. Ok see theres kirk hammett....and theres you! If you happen to have any randomly spare tickets for your london gigs, throw em my way, they will be put to some very good use. In fact, you name it, il do it for some tickets. Stay funny. Em x

Martina on Thursday, 4 December 2008

Olivia on Thursday, 4 December 2008

Hello from your American fan. I think your brilliant. I wish I would see you live, but sadly I am bound here. (quite literally they've tied me to a chair and I don't know why.) Just want to say, love the hair! love the music!

justmal on Wednesday, 3 December 2008

Hi, I was at your show in Glasgow on saturday 29th, literally the funniest thing I've ever seen! I was sitting just beside the 'show me heaven' guy and my only disappointment is that i didn't get to be the bear.... although that has caused the phrase 'emo bear' to be immortalised in our house to signify a bad day!

Hi there Tim, thank you so,so much for a fantastic show at St. George's Market, Belfast last night. What a great night for us to get to hear yourself and my pal Duke Special. Come back to Belfast really soon!

Greg on Wednesday, 3 December 2008

Holy crap ive never been so blown away by awsomeness. Tim Minchin is now my new god! Saw him last night at st georges market and split my sides best show of my life.... and ive been to some prety amazin shows. To top it all off after he played his set he came down into the crowd to have a chat with who ever was about and have pictures taken. Where else would you find some one would do that and i would like to say sorry to him for my friend gillian tryin to grab a cheeky grope while she had a photo take with him but thanks you made her and my night.

Fiona R Wilkinson on Wednesday, 3 December 2008

Tim, I would love to come to tea bearing gifts of cookies and maybe a cake if you are good. Maybe chat about the horrific news and tell some jokes and poems and meet sarah and the little one. I am currently writing a book for children which i will be publishing on line at www.thecatonthemagicmountain.com Although I really need to get it into print for it to have the most effect. The book might help children against making some very foolish mistakes. It is called The Cat on The Magic Mountain and tells the story of a cat who lost his way and had to climb to the top of a magic mountain to find the truth.

Qwerty102 on Wednesday, 3 December 2008

You were brilliant in Belfast last night. It was well worth the four hour round-trip!! I'm still hoping for a proper full show in Dublin next year. As others have said you sfr!

AnnaWaits on Wednesday, 3 December 2008

Well look at you with some time off! Disgraceful. ;) Enjoy it sir. And thanks for scheduling a gig within walking distance of Kentish Town. Most unnecessary, but thoroughly appreciated. I assume the fact that the Roundhouse is a wonderful venue was a secondary consideration.... :) Love xx

spanglers on Wednesday, 3 December 2008

Kaity, Chris, Murray & Callum, Sorry to tell you this but he was in Glasgow on Saturday. Its a bit soon after his last Scottish gig to tell him to get his groovy arse back here.

TIM,you are hilariously funny! I seen you supporting Duke Special in Belfast, and i mean the whole crowd has now been converted, including me!;) u Rock! Get yourself some dates in Belfast ASAP! (and it is pretty scary how much u and the Duke look alike!)

Kaitey, Chris, Murray & Callum on Tuesday, 2 December 2008

You should really really do some dates in Scotland ^^ All the dates you have are in London and theres no way we can get down (N) xo

Sarah on Tuesday, 2 December 2008

THANK YOU for adding another UK date. Had desperately been emailing venues for spare tickets before you deserted us for down under, so I think I speak for many when I say well worth it :D Spread the Minchin love.

michelle (n) on Tuesday, 2 December 2008

Ooh, new page...*strokes* ANYWAY, just to say I am very disappointed that I will not be able to have my fucking ass rocked on the 16th- but hey, the 22nd will be the most fucking rock night of my life! Very excited. Good luck for tonight, have a really good time in Belfast, and I shall see you in 20 days! shelly xxx

A on Tuesday, 2 December 2008

Just wanted to echo what others have said and say how pleased I am that you have added a new London date in the new year (and of course that I got tickets!) What a great venue too. Hopefully some new people will get to see you perform live as well as those who feel the pull to keep going back.

Deanna on Monday, 1 December 2008

Hey Tim - I was at the Glasgow gig on Saturday (sitting at the far end of the second row with ma huzthband. I am telling you this because I am the one you were singing to, right?! At least it felt like it, or maybe it was the Jack n' coke...or my squint...anyhoo, that's how I choose to remember it, and since we are creators of our own reality I shall continue in my delusions until further notice!) Ahem. Moving on....We loved the show from start to finish. If I were forced to choose highlights, they would include Storm, If I Didn't Have You and the booby song. (Yup, all that talent and hard work for it to be remembered as "the booby song"!) Also loved the stuff about your wife's sense of humour - sounds a lot like us. I was really touched by the christmas song. If I had to take one thing away from the show, it would be: "wow, what a deep guy!" Thanks for a great night and for bringing a ray of aussie sunshine to a foggy Glasgow evening - you SFR! :-)

Gayatri on Monday, 1 December 2008

Jenny (minchiemamma) on Monday, 1 December 2008

Yay! Another show in Jan - THANK YOU! Also Liza, if you read this, you better be there ;) I can't make the Christmas shows :(, but here's hoping they go really well and that you and yours have a fantastic Christmas Jenny (and Jenny's Man :p ) xx

Liza (wickedlibrarian) on Monday, 1 December 2008

Oh fun, a brand new page! I must put my mark upon it. Tim, I'm so happy to hear that the rest of your UK tour went so well. Look at all your new fans! And they buy merch! More stuff for you! I hope everyone enjoys your fantastic holiday shows as well. And another show in January! Right near by birthday. I wonder if I can convince my family that what I REALLY want is another trip to London...! ~♥!!

Sheila on Monday, 1 December 2008

Hiya! Just wanted to say well done and thank you for your fantastic performance on Saturday the 29th of November in Glasgow! It was my 18th birthday on the 30th so your show definately made it an ace Birthday weekend :D I was really really hoping to be able to stick around for the signing you were rumoured to be doing after the show but i had to go :( *absoloutely gutted* Anyway fantastic performance, 'the boobs song' was hilarious, the 'jesus/ faggot' song had me in stitches, the 'Storm' song was incredibly well done and the Christmas one was really touching and again incredibly well done :D "Show me heaveeen" haha :)
