I have been addicted to your performances since I first listened to 'Storm' on Youtube. My favorite song is 'Not Perfect', You are probably my favorite artist, up there with The Beatles. I had to pirate 'Darkside'/'So Rock' just to listen to some more songs (sucks being in Canada eh?) Im not sure how to buy them... But I would of If I knew how.

Horse - Hannah on Friday, 27 February 2009

Tim, dear. Your website keeps changing, and yet in your merch section, you've still got a picture of the old canvas bags, which aren't available online anyways. It makes me sad. Especially since I can't find the bag Yvette got signed for me at Edinburgh. Darn it. xoxoxo

Con Mendez on Thursday, 26 February 2009

Tim you're a legend! Looking forward to seeing you at the apollo!!!

Torstein Litlabø on Thursday, 26 February 2009

Greetings from Nowray Tim! Just wanted to say hi! Discovered you a few month's ago on YouTube, and I'm now the proud owner of your albums (legaly bought!) - and maybe soon some canvas bags :P The low point of last year was coming home from a weekend in London, only to find out that you had a show there at the same time, and I didn't know... The high point of this year, and probably my life, will be seeing your show in Oxford on the 18th October. Your stuff is amazing!

Adam on Thursday, 26 February 2009

Thou art a legend! Except your not dead....so i guess your just really really good. :) We met breifly a few times last August when i was working for "the best boobs in the buisness"....quote from you. :P Anyway, hopeing to see you live again this year!

Manx-Michelle on Thursday, 26 February 2009

Many congratulations on the Chortle awards! Yeah yeah, I know, I'm late, but I've had to put aside my increasingly-worrying Tim-fan side of me cause I've got these strange little exams cropping up. Besides, you're half the world away! Anyway, the awards were well deserved and I was decidedly delighted when I saw that two had gone to you. You're moving on up, Mr Tim! xx

Benjamin E. on Thursday, 26 February 2009

You are a God to people like me who prefer odd entertaining lyrics instead of MTV and TV commercial's ''popular'' shit. I wish I had your singing voice and piano skills although I doubt I could amount to that much. Anyhow, I just wanted to congratulate such an outstanding artist for makeing my day more entertainable and for makeing it so far even though not beeing a papparazi freak, a weird religious fanatic, an attention W***e or any other kind of insanity that commonly follow fame. When I get married I will be requesting you as my Wedding Singer ^^

I'm going to see you in Aberdeen (october...12th)to be honest, i'm really hoping that you play um.. 'Rock and Roll Nerd' because, i will cry, a lot.. even though I know that it's supposed to be funny.. which it is, but it's sad because you know the whole 'Stairway' thing just kind of makes me cry but, I feel as if I may be rambling... so I shall say goodbye and see you in Aberdeen in October :) xxxxxx

Shaun C on Tuesday, 24 February 2009

I happen to catch some of the interview on RTRFM this morning. What was that R&B parody called? "replaceable you"? and where can it be found?

Reactor on Tuesday, 24 February 2009

Unemployed on Monday, 23 February 2009

Tim, this has got to stop. I've been humming the 'like a nun needs cock' bit from the DVD when I'm at work, and am terrified I'm going to start singing it out loud. I teach 4-year-olds. I hope if I get fired you'll pay my mortgage. Can't wait to see your show in October (if I still have an income to buy a ticket)

Liza (wickedlibrarian) on Monday, 23 February 2009

Silly (short!) interview on the Perth radio station - glad I was able to catch it! Isn't technology fun? All best wishes to your growing family as well. :)

I wish I could download your albums. Get yourself on iTunes! Everything I've heard from you so far is brilliant. You're a very talented musician, and extremely funny as well. Cheers from the U.S.A.

Daniel on Thursday, 19 February 2009

Hello Tim, you're an awesome man, did you know that? I got only one problem with your tour, and that is that you don't have any concerts in Norway, and the brief period I will be spending in the UK this year will be during the start of August. Sadly it seems it might be quite some time before I get to see you perform live, but I shall make sure it happens someday. Anyway, I just wanted to say that I love what you have done so far. Keep up the good work.

Emma on Thursday, 19 February 2009

Hello Tim, i just wanted to say hope you have an amazing tour in Australia my lovely, and it goes well which i'm sure it will, and i just wanted to let you no although i'm sure you possibly hear it alot, i thank you for helping me in way because i've always had no belief in the hole 'god' thing and always bin extremly interessted in science but i haven't expressed it much as friends and family have either no opinion or quite the opersite. now listening to your lyrics and things you have to say i have taken a more vocal approach to the topics and i love it i have also started reading books on the subject such as the work of Darwin and Kurt Vonagut (i think thats spelt right mas) so before i bore you any more Tim i just wanted to say thank you in a way for opening my eyes i guess to science and non-religion, thank you again Tim, lots of love to you love Em x-x-x

Mikey on Thursday, 19 February 2009

Cunt is the Kazakh word for sugar, which is even funnier than buttocks, maybe. Kazakhstan is a funny place, like the inside of your head, Timothy. Disturbing also, in both regards.

Shaky (Laura Doust) on Thursday, 19 February 2009

Hello. The children would like to know if they can enter the competition to be in the bear video?? Oliver is especially interested as he does Street Dance and believes (as I do!) that he is an amazing dancer!! And, this dynamic 6 year old comes complete with kick boxing moves and a bear costume!! They are trying convince me to enter as I used to be a podium dancer in my youth - oh so many years ago!! But I will leave it to them, Hannah and Gemma as they are the beautiful people. Ta muchly. Safe trip to Australia - take care x

Matt on Wednesday, 18 February 2009

Five shows in Brisvegas, *eleven* in Melbourne, two in Wollongong, but you can't come to Canberra? Boo. :/

Manx-Michelle on Wednesday, 18 February 2009

Be honest- this bear competition is a crude mixture of A) finding easy film and B) some kind of crazed power trip. Yes? Yes. But we love it. xxx

Tizmee on Wednesday, 18 February 2009

hello ;0) Your my first, yes first concert !!! only have 2 wait until October !! Enjoy

Jenny on Wednesday, 18 February 2009

Hello you :) Have a safe trip at the end of the week and many fun times in Oz. See you in the Autumn :D

Erik on Wednesday, 18 February 2009

Hey Tim, I'm from the U.S. and I absolutely love your cynical yet humorous songs. You really have a knack for song writing. Also you are annoyingly good at piano....its hard to watch your fingers sometimes because they move so fast. I love your stuff keep it up :D P.S. You really should come to the U.S. and perform or at least tour a little. We would love you here.

Elliott on Tuesday, 17 February 2009

Hi Tim, I somehow just discovered your work yesterday. I've had "Only a ginger can call another ginger a ginger" stuck in my head all day. Thanks for the laughs! Cheers from Canada.

Vicky on Monday, 16 February 2009

Hey, your Minchinness! I've just been accosted in Ipswich town centre by four nubile young things wanting to know where I got my cool canvas bag with 'that bloke from Graham Norton' on it! What was I to tell them - well, other than your name, clearly? Bags are still not available in the UK via your website and your concerts here are over! I did tell them about your forthcoming tour and that Norwich is actually only 45 minutes away by train (Ipswich people have a very stay-at-home mentality and can't believe there is a whole new world beyond the Ipswich borders)so hopefully you'll have four new recruits to the Live Experience! Although if I inform anyone else I'm going to have to (a) set up the Ipswich branch of the TM Fan Club and (b) hire coaches to get everyone to the theatre in Norwich as ALL of Beth's friends want to come already. I've already had to split them into 2 groups -one lot are coming to Cambridge and the others will be coming to Norwich once we can buy tickets! Apparently I'm a cool mum for organising it all?!? Not sure if that's good or bad.... As far as the ME goes, I continue to improve. Since you MADE me get up off my sick bed to see you in Norwich, I have taken my elder daughter and her fiance to see you in Camden - and even though I felt like proverbial s**t all day, it didn't kill me and strangely, by the end of the concert, I felt better than I have in three long years! Bizarre. So how do I get 'Essence of Tim' bottled for other sick people? Maybe I should get my lovely Harley-Street consultant to prescribe So F**king Rock to all ME sufferers? He has now demanded to read my Blog, jokingly entitled 'Blog of a Middle-Aged Groupie' or open brackets, (Thanks Tim for reminding me that life is for living!),which is my thesis, if you like, on the fact that laughter may well be the best medicine, but is mostly about me discovering, through you, that I don't have to suffer with this stupid condition, I can LIVE with it -really live. Due to you I am living again, laughing again and singing again - I didn't even realise I'd stopped singing until I started again! Thank You is not enough but that's all I have - so Thank You from the heart of my bottom! Beth and I also tied in a visit to rellies in Leicester with catching you at the De Montfort Hall - we giggled for two whole days, which is a whole other story! Just think setting alight to my favourite boots (truly I did!), snow and Italian waiters mixed with a little too much Italian lager... :) and it was lovely talking to you after the show. You were right about the t-shirt - I made a different one for one of Beth's mates and left all four edges of the transfer kind of untidy - by taking the edges off, it gives the shirt more edge - how contrarily kooky is that!?! Anyway - have a great time in Australia with family and friends. Beth, Lou and I all hope the tour goes really well and that everyone gets a night like the one we had in Camden (still our favourite)! Take care of You and your lovely wife and baby and we'll see you at the other end!! xxx

x Lauren x on Monday, 16 February 2009

Sam on Sunday, 15 February 2009

It's frustrating. I'm an Aussie guy of 17 and live in south east asia, and the only material that I can get of you is on Youtube. Sure, I mean I get comments from other people saying buy your stuff online (i'm rather sure they haven't met my parents). That's why my current goal is to try and see you live when I graduate. Haha. I swear you better still be doing stand up when I'm out of Thailand mate.

Laura C on Sunday, 15 February 2009

Hey. I just brought a people carrier for the gang and I!! It is now the Tim Minchin Msytery Machine!! We are having your face sprayed on it!! Kids love it!!

I really enjoyed the show at Leicester. All the added actions and dancing in Bears brought a smile to my face x

Alan on Sunday, 15 February 2009

I'm so happy you are coming to play in Dublin. I saw you at the Melbourne Comedy Festival in 07 and have been telling everyone in Ireland who'll listen about you since then. All the best.

Klyde on Sunday, 15 February 2009

Tim I love your stuff, I think one day you will be even more popular than kittens waking up... but your after seeing your promotional materials i kinda wonder if you are going to sing and play music or pull a rabbit out' your hat. Not that I would complain.

Fantastic show at the Leicester Comedy festival last Thursday! Who ARE 'Cradle of Filth???????'

Cynthia on Friday, 13 February 2009

hey It is completely gutting reading these amazing reviews and i guess i just don't know where to put this. Sounds like the gig went great =]. I had my tickets and with some friends were all cramped up in the car but the snowy and accident filled roads made it impossible. Was so hyped. While i understand this is very unlikely, is there anything that can be done? i.e. to be used for a future gig all the best love your so live dvd

Jenna Shaw on Friday, 13 February 2009

Hi Tim, Just wanted to say the show (yesterday, Leicester) was genious! I would go as far as to compare your playing with ooh, er, Elton John?!! ;-) Seriously loved it though and hope to catch another live show in future! I am now officially a loyal fan... Jenna xx

Saw Tim at De Montfort Hall in Leicester, without a doubt my favourite gig i've ever seen. And thats not loose praise, i've seen Bill Bailey, Lee Evans, Eddie Izzard among many others. The only disappointment with the show was that I didn't hang around after the show to meet Tim :( He could've signed my canvas bag!! Can't wait till he tours back my way

Makes her humble pilgrimage towards the Great Tim Minchin. Genuflects. While bowed solemly at Tim's, hopefully not so angry feet, this humble pilgram begs of The Great One to put on more shows in Adelaide. For until you do the food I eat shall not nourish me, nor the drink I consume quench my thirst, nor the body of my lover satisfy me. I shall be utterly desolate until I can see You perform, Oh Great One.

Greetings from Estonia! I discovered you for myself just a while ago but I must say that you have the... what do you call it? umph? Anyways I could talk about how idiotically genius your music is for days but that won't make the world a better place, now will it? All I can say is that keep up the good work etc. and I'll try to make the world a better place by spreading the word of TIM. And a wee bit of Estonian to spice things up: "Kui sa otsustad kunagi ka Põhja-Euroopasse tulla, siis ürita ka Eestist läbi põigata, or else... " ^^

No serious- why only concerts in english-spoken countries? We do understand you. Well, at least we believe to do so... I was recycling cardboard/paper the other day with my boy friend...we started to sing Canvas Bag, loudly! Singing reli makes recycling funnier. Love your stuff Tim xox

Come to Michigan - Dave on Friday, 6 February 2009

Heard your interview on the S.G.U., was intrigued and checked you out on youtube. I spent half the night and several beers listening and loving your work. I live in central Michigan and would like to see your show live. Let me know when you are coming to the U.S. again. Thanks Dave

Tim, you are amazing. I found some videos of your music on Youtube, and I was hooked... Brilliant lines, insane comedy and stunning music... I'm glad I found this. Keep up the work. I'd love to come see you play soon, I'm just going to have to save up methinks.

Rachel on Thursday, 5 February 2009

Chazz Summers on Thursday, 5 February 2009

I will be seeing you on the 18th September!! So excited I got these. Will have to remember waterproof make-up. Row D centre stalls :D will get to stare at your awesomeness close up.

Sarah on Thursday, 5 February 2009

I second that - hurray for Scottish dates, I knew you wouldn't forget us Tim! And thanks for coming to Dunfermline - a mere 15 minute walk from my house, rather than the usual planes, trains and automobiles I have to use to come to a gig. You're welcome to pop in for pre-gig tea and cake - I make excellent caramel shortbread :D

I'm not short, i'm fun size on Thursday, 5 February 2009

Yay!!!!!!! Scottish dates!!!! Super happy :D x

Hi. Just wondered if Two Fists One Heart is out in the UK this year?? Just saw the trailer. Get you holding the pads!! Good form!! Film looks great. Might make me cry as was forced to quit boxing due to my bad heart. Would happily take you on the pads anyday though!!

Hanny on Wednesday, 4 February 2009

Hi Tim, I've put your video on my blog/site, just because I like it lots. :) I think you have some more Dutch fans... Cheers, H.

Lee Wright on Wednesday, 4 February 2009

I have never loved music comedy so much in my life and after hearing 'Inflatable You' last year I can't help but listen to your music. I can't wait until September because I'm going to York to watch you perform.

Sabina on Wednesday, 4 February 2009

Jonah on Tuesday, 3 February 2009

amazed, stunned, flabberghasted (personally my favorite pick). i think you should definitely ponder about coming to germany one day. i might then be there with that big poster saying 'ok if you start to play me and my friend will possibly dance in a weird manner and show our...no wait.' i like your work and your 'on-stage-personality' a lot. thanks for being.

Ray maynard on Tuesday, 3 February 2009

You are a very Bright Spot in the gloomy prediction era, THANK YOU !!

Jazzamine on Tuesday, 3 February 2009

I have one word to say about Drowned......astounding

Amy on Monday, 2 February 2009

I am completely in love with all of your work, and may have accidentally got my friend obsessed with canvas bags. We're coming to see you when you play at Southampton in September... very excited!! MUCH LOVE x

San Francisco Needs You!

Sock on Monday, 2 February 2009

I was first introduced to you via the Storm beat poem. Fantastic, absolutely fantastic. As has been said before, swing by America some time, yeah?

Chris Everett on Monday, 2 February 2009

Unbelievable stuff Tim!!! I just heard you on the Skeptic's Guide to the Universe podcast and was blown away by your song, "If you open your mind too much your brain will fall out." When are you touring the States? (i.e. New York City, not the rest of this insane country)

Jess C on Monday, 2 February 2009

Tim can you add more dates to your Adelaide Fringe shows! It's just not fair that they're sold out already, I mean it was inevitable, but I had to pay car insurance..! So Adelaide needs as much of you as Melb is going to receive..

Tonie_Raquel on Monday, 2 February 2009

A bigger venue in Geelong, where was it going to be? GPAC is kinda the only place your show could be held. I am so excited because I finally got me ticket so I am definitely going! You should see the advertisements there! So cool!

clare wain on Sunday, 1 February 2009

can i keep you...?!

Jerry Evenden on Sunday, 1 February 2009

I have not enjoyed comedy music so much since Tom Leher and Spike Jones after listening to everthing you have on your web site. I learned of you from the Skeptics podcast. This 73 -year-old would gladly buy a cd/dvd if you would just get them printed for North America! Please.

Manx-Michelle on Sunday, 1 February 2009

I loved the Skeptic's podcast. It was very good. You keep giving me things to start listening to, and whilst I love it there's just not time in the day. Anway, t'was good. x

Lizzie on Sunday, 1 February 2009
