Hi there.. In the last week or so I've seen, but more importantly, Heard, ACDC, George Michael and Tim Minchin perform live. It's been an amazing week of entertainment. It's a little scary to type the words, but I was actually more entertained by Mr Tim Minchin. Ok, Angus wins out for his awesome 16 minute guitar solo, but you've got them on every other point. Your show was soul food at Michelin star level! Many thanks to you and your team for delivering both quality and value for money. It was an absolute pleasure to watch your genius at work. I look forward to seeing it again. All the best to you and yours.

Sarah on Sunday, 28 February 2010

Just wanted to say that I saw 'Ready for This' in Sydney the other night and it was BRILLIANT!!!! Fantastic songs, fantastic comedy and fantastic performer!! :D I'll defenatly be watching your show whenever you're in Sydney!! Come back soon please!!

Isabelle on Sunday, 28 February 2010

The Best 15th Birthday present ever was your newcastle show :) I thought nothing could get better then you, but you with your shirt off was pretty darn fine. Coincidently not perfect is my favourite song, and a pretty good encore. A downside of your show howere, is that i;ve been banned from kicking my piano lid shut (much to my dismay. Definately seeing you again, Isabelle P.S What's your address? I want to mail you some cookies

Aly on Sunday, 28 February 2010

Iona on Friday, 26 February 2010

oh yeah you also made my mum cry when you played White wine in the sun. She's English and all her family live in England, and this year it'll be the first time she's gone back for xmas for ages. To be fair she also cried at that toilet paper add with the labrador puppy (our dog had just died). She cries alot. She laughed heaps at If I didn't have you though. If you think it's unlikely that you meet the love of your life at a university in Perth. My parents(Dad's Australian, Mum's English) met in Zimbabwe both working as doctors at the same clinic, even then they only met again because British airways lost dad's luggage and Mum's was the only address he knew in London. xx

Iona on Friday, 26 February 2010

Hi I went to see Ready for this? in Melbourne (the first one) It was great! I went with my mum and one of her friends (who is awesome and lent us her so live dvd) and my friend. It was the funniest thing I've ever seen. Especially when you were talking to the girl in front row about looking about 14 because at that point I was 13 and in my craziness I shouted I'M 13! (i'm really sorry) but i don't think you heard me any way we were about two rows from the back due to my families complete lack of anything even resembling organization so I think I just annoyed every one sitting near us. Sorry people sitting near us. xx

Nimrod on Friday, 26 February 2010

Um, How about an Israel tour any time soon? It's not even a tour, just a three hours flight to the mid east, a gig or two, some time in the holy land, and you're back in London in no time!

Mergy on Friday, 26 February 2010

TIM POST THE UK TOUR DATES ASAP ... IT GONNA COST ME A FORTUNE with the converts i got into you, do i get a discount for multi-tickets to the shows ? .. guess not ..... you keep rockin & rollin` in the Colt ... word of advice ... don`t use a Toyota in the USA they grilled the boss..... fat yanks eat anything ... when Storm hit the big screen here ?

Penelope on Friday, 26 February 2010

Hello there Tim I went to see you last night with my daughter- I don't know if you remember but I'm the crazy lady with a flower bike who accosted you in Hoddle Street a few weeks back. We were in the front row- a flook of web ticketing but Oh so joyful to be right there-blood, sweat and tears. Your performance was sublime how you have blossomed to be an outstanding performer. How tragic you had to go to the UK to find your way. Now you are recognized (accepted) here because of that success. Its like we're still convicts by nature still waiting for the "mother country" to give us permission to fart. How sad for us and how debilitating is our fear. Go forth young man-yes 34 and 4 months is still young and conquer Your demons and bring us your courage and creativity back again when you feel like it.

Kirsty on Thursday, 25 February 2010

Looking forward to tonights show, been hanging out for ages..

Emma on Thursday, 25 February 2010

Hi Tim :) I'm a massive fan and can't wait to come and see your next tour, any idea of if/when you're doing your next one? It's safe to say your the most played on my iPod and I my top top favourites are "The Song for Phil Daoust" and "If I Didn't Have You" and of course your epic "Canvas Bags" and can't wait to get my own not-actually-canvas Canvas Bag. CANNOT WAIT FOR YOUR NEXT TOUR, and I wish the best of luck with the storm film! Your most hugest fan Emma, Manchester xoxoxox

Peter on Wednesday, 24 February 2010

i guess it's too much to ask, but would you mind playing a show in germany one day? That would be great indeed! a little surprising, i assume, but great! (: cheers!

Biscuitweevil on Wednesday, 24 February 2010

Tim, I'm reciting a rap poem at an office leaving party tomorrow which I've loosely based on 'Taboo' (so loose it's baggy - don't worry). How you remember your words is a mystery to me. Wish me luck.

saxon on Wednesday, 24 February 2010

All of your shows in NSW are sold out! Was so so sad and disappointed. Please come and do another show in Sydney. I've been looking forward to you coming back to Aus for ages. Please please please do another show. :)

Come back to the UK Tim... we think you're f*cking ace! :)

Andy Bradley on Saturday, 20 February 2010

Hi Tim! Come back to the UK, you blew me away at Leeds Festival this year and I'm sat watching Not Perfect off So Fucking Rock. Pretty much perfect. Come back to Yorkshire, maybe even Huddersfield if you're feeling generous. Your songs are the anthems of my life.

Angie on Saturday, 20 February 2010

Hi Tim Got to ask are you one of us Geeks and is that why NAS got a lovely present from your sales. If I wrote some words could you do the music, havent got my piano anymore :-( Look forward to your next UK tour, hope you make it soon.

John Clarke on Saturday, 20 February 2010

Hi Tim, We've just come home from seeing you (again) in Adelaide. Didn't mean to put you off by sitting in the front row, but you should know that even 70-80 year-olds like us think you're great and so gifted. Come back again soon.

Marc, The Netherlands on Saturday, 20 February 2010

Dear Tim, I just know you since a week but already can almost sing "Rock n Roll nerd" perfectly along. Same for canvas bags, inflatable you, - which is actually quite hard - ginger and many more already. You're like a magician with words and music. It's great how you're able to put those two together in something so beautiful, so funny and original as well (okay, except for F-sharp of course). I hope one day you'll do a show in the Netherlands as well. I'm going to be there for sure! Keep up the good work; you're one of world's best, and thinking about it, THE best comedian I know. Good bye! Marc

Rhiannon on Friday, 19 February 2010

hi tim i very much admire your work and think it is absolutly fantastic to see someone with raw talent and is intellegent doing so well in the entertainment buisness. i just wanted to say thankyou and you should come to cairns xD

Thea Hopkins on Wednesday, 17 February 2010

Just read the blurb at the top of this page. I happen to be going to London next year in July. What's your address and what type of cookies do you like? I am the QUEEN of cookie making. Haha i would PAY to make you cookies and take them to your house!!!!

Thea Hopkins on Wednesday, 17 February 2010

Hi Tim! I know the chances of you reading this are slim, but i absolutely love you! I saw you in Perth last year in November and you were absolutely superb! You should be more recognised world wide for your talent, i have not yet come across someone with your combined comedic and musical talent :) i doubt i ever will! Keep up the good work! P.S. Unlike most musicians, i believe you are even more fantastic live. I felt like i was absorbing your energy...it was awesome

Øystein Grøndahl on Tuesday, 16 February 2010

Hi there! I just finished watching Rock and Roll Nerd - The Tim Minchin Story, and I loved it! It was great seeing how this started. I think it's really interesting to see some of the hard times as well, not just the glossy picture of success. I first heard about you when someone on fark.com posted a link to Storm on youtube, and I was instantly hooked. I brought four friends to your show in London during autumn 2009. Thanks for letting youtube have your songs, otherwise we wouldn't have known that we should take the trip from Norway just for that :D I'm looking forward to your next tour in Europe, I would love to go to another of your shows!

Danny Hutchinson on Tuesday, 16 February 2010

iv seen alot of tims stuff and have came to the conclusion HE ROCKED MY ASS OFF! got his album on my i pod and seen his DVDs a lot, i even have a t-shirt saying im a rock and roll nerd! but i need him to do a gig in the south of England so i can see him in person!

Steven on Tuesday, 16 February 2010

So F***'in Rock! I just found you and your talent on Youtube earlier today and I am loving everything so far. As many have expressed before me, I can not wait until you tour the states!

Ella Ellington on Tuesday, 16 February 2010

I have only known about you for a week and I am completely smitten. I am German but live in the United States. I found out about you from a friend who posted "Inflatable You" on a Forum where I am a member and I must say it took quite a while for me to recover after listening to it...I have in the meantime listened to more of the material that is available on YouTube - - you are wonder-WONDERFUL. Plus such a nice, genuine smile. I am happy I found you. Thanks for making me laugh!!!

Shira on Tuesday, 16 February 2010

Just found out about you via Neatorama.com. I'm in New Jersey in the states, and please, please, please tour in the states. YouTube and DVD's don't do the comedy and piano sound justice.

Milly on Monday, 15 February 2010

You're mine and my friends (he's male) comedy boyfriend. We love you a lot. And we do take our canvas bags to the supermarket.

Martin Clune on Monday, 15 February 2010

Tim, you are by far thee funniest person I have ever come across. You have the most creative humor and I can not get enough. I would LOVE to see you live. You absolutely MUST come to New Zealand! Only a short drive across the pond eh? Looking forward to seeing you in New Zealand :D

Eyjólfur Kristjánsson on Sunday, 14 February 2010

Hi. I love your stuff mate, your great. Hope you come to Iceland one day :)

Deb on Sunday, 14 February 2010

Just recently introduced to your fab brand of comedy/weirdness when caught your show on TV over Christmas. Can't wait for you to visit the UK so we can catch you live. As you no doubt realise the UK doesn't just consist of London so a trip further north would be much appreciated; Newcastle would be wonderful! Saw Newcastle on your 'Gigs' page and got wildly excited for a millisecond til realised it meant in Australia. Keep doing your stuff. Your piano playing and music is fantastic and I love the contrived rhyming lyrics!

Tessa on Sunday, 14 February 2010

Love from Canada(:

Vics R on Sunday, 14 February 2010

Hii Tim! I really hope you're coming back to the UK soon for some touring. I've managed to get a few friends hooked on your material, as well as pining to play piano, which I'm not sure is good or not. None the less, I know you can make it as a musical comedian. I hope you and your family are well, Sarah is a very lucky woman (and extremely beautiful from what I've seen). Keep it Rock, Sir!

Steven Ellis on Friday, 12 February 2010

Tim! Me again haha... Please come to perth to do a gig on march 13, it will be my birthday =] Love you long time! =D

Jason Stearns on Friday, 12 February 2010

Tim, I think your very funny. Unfortunately none of your DVD's can be played on USA format players. is there any chance of them being released in USA format? I would love to buy them all.

Carrie on Thursday, 11 February 2010

Love all your songs but my favourite two are confessions and prejudice. lol. When are you coming back to the UK. Really want to see you live? Carrie

Sean on Thursday, 11 February 2010

Hey there singer person. A friend introduced me to a computer that had a smaller version of you singing songs. And it turns out that you sing the same songs as that one! Small world. I'm far from the first to say this but I'm very impressed how your work can be so comical, beautiful, intelligent and deep at the same time. I found myself in tears of laughter and frustrated that there was nobody for me to show "Storm" to after I first watched it at two in the morning. There is not a single word of "Storm," "If I Didn't Have You," and "Not Perfect" (to name a few) that I disagree with. Thanks and I hope to see you in the US some time soon.

Joshua on Wednesday, 10 February 2010

When you comming back to the UK! fucking love your shows went to see "Ready for this" twice :)!

Paulina on Monday, 8 February 2010

Hi Tim, I love your music :) but I'm sad because I think that even if You would go on the tour through Europe You would propably miss my country (Poland) :C But I am going to listen you and watch your dvd's anyway :) Kocham Cię Tim! :D

saxon on Monday, 8 February 2010

hehehe :D can i join you on your south australian submarine with a glass bottom and a cat flap? we would be like " zoom zoom zoom" and on another note, when is the storm movie expected?

Stuey on Monday, 8 February 2010

Tim! You've said you write using the mind, not the heart, and I'm interested to know, was it an intentional structural irony or by happy coincidence that you happened to use beat-poetry when writing Storm? It's just that the hippie culture evolved from beat-poetry and beatnicks in the 1950s... It seems the perfect format for such a narrative and I'd like to know... Cheers! Stu

Manu on Sunday, 7 February 2010

I just ordered "So f**king Rock" and I'm really really looking forward to watching the DVD in a few days. It's just incredible how emotionally you sing your songs! I know, it sounds quite stupid but you're simply a genius! btw: I just saw your live performance of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" on youtube - awesome version, one of the best covers there are of this song, if you ask me (and there are a lot)!! Well, I hope I get to see one of your concerts someday when you do a tour in europe. Best wishes!! Manu

Rose. on Sunday, 7 February 2010

Hello Tim! How are you? I just wanted to drop by here to give you a cyber pat on the back. I love your work! It's brilliant! I love the lyrics, the melodies, all of it! & Your hair. I want to steal it, :D. I was just wondering, I hear you have played in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire? Nearish to London? If so, would there be any chance of you playing there again? I would love you to come by, it would be fantastic! You can come round to my flat for a coffee, kit kat break & a chinwag. I'm a big fan of yours, and hope to have the chance to see you live soon! Best wishes! Rose. xxx

Judith on Sunday, 7 February 2010

I watched 'So Fucking Rock' on DVD last night and it's the best thing I have seen in a very long time. I spent most of the two hours curled up in fits of laughter, nodding in agreement with your point of view. The, I found myself in tears listening to 'Not Perfect'. Such a touching song and I was glad to see, from close-ups of the audience, that I'm not the only one it gets to. My fifteen year old daughter watched it with me and found it just as funny as I did, which is wonderful - sharing humour always is. So, now, on my list of things I simply MUST do, is see a Tim Minchin show live. Music, comedy and insightful genius - what a combination! Take good care x

Jenna on Sunday, 7 February 2010

Tim Tim Tim Tim Tim! Hello...national tour and no Hobart?!! So very disappointed :( Please please please come down here soon. You have such a massive following here and the opportunity to see you live would make even the manliest of them pee their pants a little ;) Look forward to watching you on GNW

Sam on Saturday, 6 February 2010

Malvern theatres is a little, well you know, theatre situated in Malvern (you probably have heard of Malvern Water) and I can guarantee a great crowd (even if it's the same crowd)... Me and mates herald you as a god!

Ian Clifford on Saturday, 6 February 2010

Hey Tim. I met 'Storm' in a pub last week. She carries a bit of wood everywhere and claims that it is 10,000 years old. "It keeps away evil spirits", she told me. "Cool, do they do one to keep away freaky weirdos", I replied. At this point she seemed confused, as this sounded like I was taking the piss. Surely not!

Nikki Logan on Saturday, 6 February 2010

Hi Tim, (I dunno how much of this you actually read or are interested in) but I just wanted to voice my opinion! Unfortunately I am not talented enough to voice it through witty lyrics and unbelievable piano skills! I was completely unaware of you until a few weeks ago and now I am addicted! I love Peace Anthem and Canvas Bags! My favourite is Mitsubushi Colt - that is such an intelligent and clever piece of work. Your songs (Some People Have It Worse) brighten up my day and really make me laugh out loud. I REALLY hope you are hitting the Fringe in Edinburgh this year. I read somewhere that you were there before and am kicking myself that I didn't check you out. I don't even have an excuse as I am from Edinburgh and live there! Anyway, on the off chance you do read this I think you are phenomenal. x x x

MoJo on Saturday, 6 February 2010

Hey TIMMEY, what is it u don´t play in brisi. Hope to see u in Brisbane in february, too. Thx Mate. Oh and do not forget to bring your canvasbag.

D4m4s74 on Friday, 5 February 2010

I found ya on youtube because a friend of mine recommended me to watch Storm. Great. I've watched everything I could find on youtube, but I hope you will come to holland once so I can see you live.

Suzie on Friday, 5 February 2010

I discovered you several weeks ago, ever since, i play your songs on the train everyday! I hope you tour to berkshire one day, you should soo do a musical with your songs, it would be brilliant! Look at Avenue Q, it's soo good, and your songs have the same kind of humour! Although I know you are doing Matilda at the moment, good luck with that, I'm going to see it as soon as it hits the West End (which I'm sure it will!)

Nedd Townsend on Friday, 5 February 2010

dear Tim. i am a massive fan of yours down under in Tasmania but i was rather dissapointed when i looked on your dates for the Aus tour for Ready for this? And saw you weren't coming to our great state. but no matter what I'm still going to be a faithful tim minchin fan, look out for me at one of you Melbourne concerts, i'll be eaisy to spot, i'll be sporting your hair style!

GeorgeCh on Thursday, 4 February 2010

Hey Tim.Hello.I would like to inform you that you have two loyal funs in greece!!We are near a small city called ierapetra, crete and we enjoy your shows...on you tube...well,we cant have it all.So we expect to see you around here...in the very distant future!Dont worry there are at least 5 more who speak english(not so sure if they understand them...) so you gonna have a crowd if you come!Keep up the good work!!

Lazyass on Thursday, 4 February 2010

Hey Tim! I love your inventive songs, and you sense of humour. Are you doing a Europe tour next? Or do I have to drag my lazy ass to England?

Colin Webster on Thursday, 4 February 2010

I don't usually do stuff like this, but Tim Minchin is one of the few rare exceptions. I only became familiar with his material tonight, and I already have nothing but utmost respect for this man and his courage to mock taboo subjects and tell things as they are. "Ten foot cock and a few hundred virgins" and the "good book" are absolutely brilliant, and it is always nice to see a such a well-informed atheist succeeding in this world. It gives me hope that future generations may actually look up to intelligence and discard ancient superstitious traditions. I love the references to the Quran, genesis and Ezekiel, and I love that he had the balls to say the truth in front of such large audiences. If you're reading this, Tim, thank you for doing what you do, please come to Canada some time, and don't let up on the religious satire.. I love it!

Bex Dunkason on Wednesday, 3 February 2010

I saw your ready for this tour twice while you were touring the uk and each time it was amazing. please tour the uk again soon! probablly the best gig i have ever seen! love it!

Natalie Williams on Wednesday, 3 February 2010

Mr Minchin, I'm an antipodean living in the UK now and discovered you over a year ago on Buzzcocks, became increasingly obsessed before I realised it was the eye liner that did it for me (this I have dealt with appropriately and welcomed it into my life) and now thoroughly enjoy what you do and how you do it. I have a deep admiration for your work, Not Perfect is an anthem of mine a sort of 'life song', I'm sure you'll be pleased to know I have passed you on to others who have received you well! I would very much love to see you in my local town of Bournemouth, so am keeping an eye on your gig lists. I hope you find the need or want to visit the UK again, and maybe if I'm lucky you'll be presenting yourself in a town near me. You see I can't afford the tickets to Aus myself for a while yet....Anywho, congrats on who you are and your beautiful family, lucky chap!

Vicki H on Wednesday, 3 February 2010

Just wondered how many millions it would cost me to request a photo session with Tim!? I am a new portrait photographer based in Norwich, UK and a HOOOOOGE fan, I have a burning ambition to do a portrait of him... alas I suspect he can have his pick of top photographers- hey you dont know if you dont ask!! Any chance!?

Alison in Cambridge on Tuesday, 2 February 2010

I think I have my first crush since being 13!...you are amazing and though I don't agree with all your views I admire your passion and intellect. 'prejudice' is uncomfortably clever your piano skills, mesmerising your eye liner, dark lucky wife

Rob M on Monday, 1 February 2010

This is my Perth. And I live in it. It's one third beach, and two thirds sand-dune And it never really draws the bands, like other cities in the land And no-one ever seems to really care... But here's the really weird thing When I saw your gig-guide listing I couldn't stop the sadness flooding in. This is my Perth, and it's fine. It's where musicians spend the least amount of their time It's not perfect But it's mine. It's not perfect... (I missed all of your 2009 shows (was out of the country), hoping you'll be back in Perth soon!)

Samuel Velasco on Monday, 1 February 2010

I think Storm is one of the strongest declamations I have ever experienced. You managed to express your despise for hippy-anthropology undergraduate-students perfectly! Hahahaha My mother-in-law considers herself a psychic (a medium?) of the Kardecist Spiritism mass-craziness and is one of those incredibly sick people who think they can talk to the dead. What makes me sad is that she has a Ph.D. in microbiology in the best Brazilian university! She should illuminate humankind, that's what we expect of scientists... After listening to Storm I HAD to send her the song and the lyrics. I think my relationship with her daughter will suffer from now on a series of interventions but it's worthy it! Hahahaha Have you ever watched What the bleep do we know? You could satirize the Ph.D. who makes pseudo-science in your upcoming film, that'd be great, really. It's nice to see real intelligent life in the humour-music-acting-stand_up world. Congratulations, Tim. I'm sure you find your work fulfilling and satisfying in every way. Good luck with the Storm film, I'll watch it for sure. PS: sorry for the crappy English.
