Tim you are awesome in everyway but... PLEASE will you start selling posters on the website?? I desperately want one and the only place I've EVER seen any was at the tour but i had to choose between a tshirt and a poster (for economical reasons...) and went with the tshirt. Which was daft because you do actually sell them on the website :( Please... i just want to indulge my fanaticism a little bit more haha xxx

Compbh on Tuesday, 30 March 2010

Why are you going off around the world, and suffering all that jet lag, when you can play in York all year round. You can stay in our spare room if accomodation is the problem. Let us know and I'll have the spare duvee cleaned. Cheers

Eleanor on Monday, 29 March 2010

I'm sorry, but i love Tim Minchin. He's absoloutley AMAZING. My spare time is spent downloading his songs. All my family adore him, we just can't get enough. Totally gutted we missed his tour, i'm not leaving this website untill the next one is announced, TIM IS GOD :).

Amii on Monday, 29 March 2010

Tim...you are a Legend of Aussie culture, an essence of who we are in reality. I am proud to be a 16 year old girl who has gotten to love her "not perfect world, country, house, body and mind" as well as being a "Single Lady" (just without the leotards :D). I want to thank you in person one day soon, when and if you come to Coffs Harbour to do a show in Australia. :D I Love you Tim, and you are an amazing man!!! ILY *does the single lady hand movement* bye for now. xxx

Lolly Polly on Monday, 29 March 2010

Here, here! I too have been having a pretty, completely, rubbish time of things and found you at just the right time. Plugging in headphones and pounding the pavements with your witty lyricisms ringing in my ears has been a wonderful form of escapism for me in recent months...Now I just have to convince the neighbours that I'm not totally insane, running in the rain, laughing out loud, mouthing occassional "obscenities" as I quietly sing along to myself. Thank you x

nathan dowhaluk on Monday, 29 March 2010

you ARE so fucking rock

Doug on Monday, 29 March 2010

Hi Tim, You're work has too helped me through some very tough times, and it has put a smile on my face when i have been down. So thank you. Also can you do a load of gigs in London etc so i can come to every one? :). I think the one word to describe you is 'God'

nora on Sunday, 28 March 2010

my life sucks quite badly currently and the only thing that makes me smile is your songs. literally. thanks.

Dara on Sunday, 28 March 2010

TIM I LOVE YOU!!! I actually have to admit that before i stumbled across "so live" on tv last night i had never heard of you before but now i love you! I've had Rock n' Roll Nerd stuck in my head all day I'm all ready in stalker mode, attempting to source some dvd's and stuff. I live in an almost dead corner of rural Scotland where old people move when they want to be old and moan all day about taxes and the rain, it's not the best place for an 18 year old without a car to be! Fancy doing some shows up my way and livening things up a bit?? You can have a sleepover at my house whilst your here you genius x x x

Fiona on Sunday, 28 March 2010

The words 'Tim Minchin' are banned from my history classroom :)

ND'Arcy on Sunday, 28 March 2010

Hehe Sparkly top for the win. And that towel guess, truly legendary! Keep on rocking the world Tim!

Rich on Sunday, 28 March 2010

Just seen you on TV. Great comedy.. but what can we say? actually Tim you are a musical and lyrical genius behind this comedy fasard.. your piano playing was outstanding to say the least with great vocal expression to match. Keep it up we love it!! Rich & from all 10,000 of us www.myspace.com/10000girlscalledsarah

Gary aged 37 & a half. on Sunday, 28 March 2010

Hello Mr Minchin. In late 2008 I was going through an emotionally tough time. I lost a woman I loved desperately. I was not looking for a hessian neck tie but I was looking for things to cheer me up. I attended your Runcorn gig and must admit it was a high point (of the month). Why am I saying this now??? well I am watching one of your gigs on tv as we speak, or rather as i type and I just wanted to say thankyou. Keep up the good work, I wish you and your loved ones happiness. P.s. A poet once told me "love comes again but never in the same form". I had no doubt and In my case he was absolutely right.

Chris on Saturday, 27 March 2010

You make me happy :)

Bex Kirk on Saturday, 27 March 2010

Wow,for years my now husband has sulked, and moaned, and very nearly broken down at the kind of humour I find funny. (He's always been more slapstick carry-on stuff, which, and I don't care how many Cannes film festivals they show it at, are NOT art) Then, it occured to me, after watching the "So fucking rock" dvd AGAIN, all he really needed was a pretty guy, with no shoes and a piano, for me to slowly bring him round. ^.^ He's even getting pedantic over his spelling now. YAY!

Kathryn Rodgers on Saturday, 27 March 2010

In lieu of Tim Minchin in Alberta, Canada, Kathryn Rodgers heads home to Newcastle, England. Knowing my luck, you'll be in the US at that point...

Frederick Goss on Saturday, 27 March 2010

I just want to share how happy and thankful I am. I am so glad my lifes journey has brought me to be living where I am living, to have met the people that I met (even the nasty ones)....(especially the nasty ones?), to have found someone special in a place where it seemed against ALL odds! To have found someone special who shared her love for Tim Minchin at just the right time, that I could hear this very bizarre looking being. At first to be extremely entertained and cramping for hours, but afterward to see a talent sharing philosophy I connect with, that is so important to share. How ones journey has to take you to bizarre places to find information that guides you on your path. I am ever so greatful (he says in a southern accent)that all these rather dumb carbon atoms, manifest in all these various forces that delivered me to this spot at that time!!!!!!!To the carbon my car is made from to the carbon it runs on that took me to my friend Phil's (thankyou to all his carbon) a house (again thanking) to spend a weekend where I was able to hear on You Tube (soooo much carbon and thanking to do)Okay the picture I am sure has been formed. Just to everything.....Thankyou. And please do not report me to the authorities.....ummmmmm....there was this thing!!! Thanks Tim!

Lissa on Saturday, 27 March 2010

Hey Tim, I love your stuff :) I was just wondering if you've heard 'My Legs Are Weak' by Paloma Faith - the beginning sounds exactly like 'Drowned'! Maybe you should sue lol :)

Cara on Saturday, 27 March 2010

Hey Tim, I was looking at your merchandise and I've got a T-shirt now - It's SO awsome!!! But you should totally make some posters - everyone would want one. Just a thought :) Have a nice day! xxx

Richard on Saturday, 27 March 2010

Mr Minchin, I saw you at the Palais a few seeks ago - for my 49th Birthday treat, with my wife whom I also mathematically unlikely met/fell in love with at the age of 17 (well she was 16) sometime just after the dinosaurs but before the Holden Commodore. I'm a Scientist/Engineer and Christian but enjoy immensely your combination of musicality, love of the language (even the profane) and the comedic sense of timing. If God des not have a sense of humour, then 1/ He|She wouldn't have invented sex 2/ there are some great one liners in the good book(look at the pub scene from acts) that must be accidents and 3/ you're in big trouble. I stole one of your songs chord progressions the other day (you stole it from Bach anyway) and wrote my own song - so thanks Cheers

Shane on Friday, 26 March 2010

Tim. You ROCK! When are you coming back to Australia?!

Andy Hayward on Friday, 26 March 2010

Tim, my wife and I watched your ‘Ready for this’ show in Sydney and walked away very, very impressed. We’ve had the pleasure of seeing you on various TV shows in Australia and were well aware of your talent. However, having seen your show we are even more impressed. You, my friend, are a genius. Very much looking forward to your next work – what ever it may be. And congratulations for being immortalised on canvas – a truly deserved Archibald ‘model’.

KB on Friday, 26 March 2010

The Archibald prize? Is there nothing Tim can't do? I think not!

Michelle on Thursday, 25 March 2010

Hello Tim! Absolutely love your work and wittisicm. I am currently writing a paper and designing a presentation about your comedic and theatrical approach to religion and politics for a Music & Politics class at my University. However, I am having a difficult time finding anything with your political views and I do not want to misrepresent any of your ideas. If you could please send me a message or direct me to an article I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

Jørgen on Wednesday, 24 March 2010

Hey Tim! My friends and I love your work and would be thrilled if you could do a gig in Bergen, Norway. It's relatively close to the UK, and you have lots of fans here! Sincerely, Jørgen P.S. The Flight of the Conchordes did it! D.S.

Nick mccluskie on Wednesday, 24 March 2010

I honestly think Tim is amazing i love watching his stand up DVDS they just keep me laughing and rolling about on the floor in stiches the mans amazing. I think Tim is honestly going to be huge and be world-wide known for his dark humour and his amazing songs, i really do feel bad that i missed his recent tour and that i never got to see him where i live in scotland. But if i could ever say one thing to Tim it would be " Rock on man, your an abosolute hero ( Yes scottish slang ) and keep being you, cause every1 i knw thinks your amazing".

Geert on Tuesday, 23 March 2010

Arro Gelsthorpe on Tuesday, 23 March 2010

hahahahaha I didn't want to comment 'coz I thought this guestbook thing made me feel like a groupie in an odd way, although I don't plan on any sexual relations with you. Also I am planning on growing my hair like, well inspired by yours, although it is kind of frowned upon by basically everyone haha and you are true inspiration and all the serious music has been deleted off my computer to make way for your wonderful work. Thanks Tim

John on Sunday, 21 March 2010

Tim, do a US tour. You're sorely needed here!

Cameron Oldfield on Sunday, 21 March 2010

DUDE! IM TWELVE! well, thirteen in march..... BUT YOU ARE A LEDGEND! :D NO ONE CHEERS ME UP THE WAY DARKSIDE DOES! :D

Iryna on Sunday, 21 March 2010

Hello! Sometimes days at work at awfully boring and blue. "If you really loved me" always brings my good mood back! I also look look like an idiot when I laugh all by myself and keep on turning around to make sure my boss is not there to see me watching Youtube instead of working... You music was also a great insentive for me to come back to my piano, which I stopped playing when I went to university. Tim, you definitely don't fall within the bell curve! I love your music! You better keep on playing for another like 10 years - I gotta earn some money, come to London (from Hungary) and see ya! Best Wishes! Iryna

Jaimee on Friday, 19 March 2010

OMG, where do you live??? I am SO bringing you cookies before i die!!!

David Clenny (Kasnas City, USA) on Thursday, 18 March 2010

Love your stuff. As a 40 something Rock and Roll Nerd (play mandolin, ukulele, and learning drums), I must say that it is great to see one of us make it. I just wish you had larger shirts available for us fat bastards in the US. It is awfully hard for someone my size to fit my 300 pounds of twisted steel and sex appeal into something as small as an extra large. Keep up the fun, good, interesting, sometimes controversial stuff. Keep being yourself, we love you for that.

Bron on Wednesday, 17 March 2010

Congratulations on your becoming a subject in the finalists of the Archibald Prize!!

Elle Dessureault on Tuesday, 16 March 2010

I just heard about you from a friend of mine. And to be a complete noob fan girl -insert squeal here- you are one of the funniest people i've ever seen, you're like up there with Robin Williams and other uber funny comedians. Also you (not meaning to sound really creepy) have mesmerizing eyes especially with the eye liner and shadow. I have to say you spoken work poem 'Angry (feet)' and the songs '5poofs and 2 pianos' as well as '10 foot cock and a few hundred virgins' made me ROFLMAO, seriously funny funny shit. ^_^ It made my day. Thank you so very much. P.s. I <3 your accent -pumps fist in air- Yay accents... cause that doesn't (or this) sound crazy.

billy mainwaring on Tuesday, 16 March 2010

you have amazing goals for making people come round to your way of thinking and even if you dont realise you are one of the best piano players and poet lol you make mine seem rubish ,poetry that is lol, but like yours probably only to ourselfs it seems rubbish but main thing is if you eveer want your website re-doing i am willing to do it for free or for a couple of uk tickets ;p lol. either way thank you for singing littrally every thought i ever think and if YOU ever read this a email letting me know would be appreciated and respected. billy

just to say you are one of the reasons (with your outlook on life ect) that i have decided to look at mine from the out side and consider what is important. Think that you know whats what, and scared of saying it. With a bit of luck i will be at your next gig and now i would have the best of times (which seem to be few and far between nowadays) just hope it is you that reads this cause i know you would respond. At first I didn’t like the idea of a musical comedian but when a friend played Rock n roll nerd I fell in love with it and now you are my inspiration for my piano work. Your music always makes me smile if not burst into fits of laughter, so thanks Tim and keep writing amazing songs. xxx

You should consider touring the U.S. if it is at all possible for you. You've definitely got fans here. Please consider it, and, specifically, please come to NYC because we would love to have you here! I could absolutely see you as a guest on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, that would just be so fucking rock. Please, please come to the states soon. On behalf of your NYC fans, Ania

Tracy on Saturday, 6 March 2010

I just found out about you this past week from a friend who was recently in London. She emailed me links to your stuff on You tube. I think you're brilliant! I don't know why I have not heard of you sooner. you must come to the States or at least to Toronto, Canada so I can see you live. I live near Buffalo, NY and it's only a 2 hour drive (plus wait time at the Peace Bridge!) to get there. I'd drive even further to see you though! I love Tony the Fish, that is just great. I'm 1/2 English and I've always enjoyed Dave Allen (RIP) and the Two Ronnies, used to watch them with my Nan. Now you. ahh sweet bliss.

Sam on Friday, 5 March 2010

John McCollor on Friday, 5 March 2010

Sooo when are you coming to Usa? (pronounced "Oosah") We are not all belligerant warmongering christian bastards you know. Some of us (ok, me.) are thoughtful, considerate, folks who enjoy a cold adult beverage or three and have a sense of humor. I would pay real money to see you and I would also drag as many of my friends (both of them) out to see you as well. I'm just saying, think about it ok? Might be worth your time.

He posted your link in response to a song I did about canvas bags in my musical advice column: http://advicemusic.blogspot.com/2010/02/vol-9-recruiting-for-rebagging.html if you're ever looking for a "green" opener, let me know - I would love to! all best, RZ

Julianna Romanyk on Wednesday, 3 March 2010

Tim, you're absolutely incredible. I'm 13 years old, and after only knowing you for two months I have become a huge fan. Living in Toronto I can't see a concert of yours, but I've made it my life goal to see you one day. In the meantime, I will play "Dark Side" and "Not Perfect" (and more of your songs in the future) at my school during break time and at home over and over (continuing to drive my teachers nuts being late for class and forgetting to do homework). Keep making everyone laugh and keep reminding us all of Tony the Fish! P.S. You converted me from agnostic to atheist. Thank you so much.

Emma on Monday, 1 March 2010

Unfortunately, I happen to attend a very strict Catholic school and today in Religion class, we were asked to write a letter to Jesus informing him about the relevance of the 10 commandments in today’s society. But instead, I wrote the story of Tony the fish and drew a cartoon of him down the bottom… My religion teacher doesn’t seem to like Tony the fish at all. x
