You're funny.

Magnus Rudjord on Tuesday, 30 November 2010

Serisouly, Tim, you should come to Norway some time ;) I know many people who would show up.. You are just perfectly brilliant and would love to see you live some time :P Sincerely, Norwegian Minchin fan :D

Franklin on Tuesday, 30 November 2010

Dude I want to make sweet love to your mind. You are so hot and I'm a heterosexual man. Errrmmm... I mean great stuff and thanks for all the laughs. Now I'm off to shag my wife.

Justin on Tuesday, 30 November 2010

Please come to Canada. We love you here.

Rich Slater on Tuesday, 30 November 2010

You Suck!! OK you're funny, and sure in a dark room i'd be fooled into thinking you were kinda pretty in a girlish kinda way (but i'd feel bad the next day), but what i really look for in a comedian is convenience and all your gigs are Effin miles away, rubbed in by all those Aussie gigs, why can't you play my local pub, or even a venue in the same pissin county?? sure i get it Australian's think nothing of travelling 500K for a night out, but this is England, if i can't walk there i can't make it (and not in some Jenny Aggutter kinda walkabout), so please improve yourself, sell out now and play every venue under the sun, PLEASE. ps love you never change etc etc

Marianne McGeary on Sunday, 28 November 2010

Hello. My three adult atheist children turned me on to your music via "White Wine in the Sun." I can't tell you how much it smoothed my way to understanding them and their beliefs. It's also beautiful, and makes me tear up every time I hear it. I've given up organized religion, and your clever and pointed lyrics definitely help with that as well. I am a devoted fan, Mr. Minchin, and learn something each time I listen to your music. I take it in small doses so that I can assimilate the information. But I'm hooked and happy. By the way, do you know the music of Tom Lehrer? I have loved him for years, and well, he does not write social commentary any more, but you do! Thank you, from Marianne in Chicago.

Daniel on Sunday, 28 November 2010

Tim, I just want to give you the most heart-warming thank you I can for helping to bring me and my girlfriend together. We have been the best of friends for years, part of us always bound together by our kooky sense of humour and avoiding the status quo. If you hadn't set up your performance in Nottingham, I would never have been able to surprise her with an early Christmas gift, and I would never have realised that the excitement I was feeling for the show was really about seeing her (no offence, you're still great) and I would never have got up the courage to make our relationship official in time so that our first official date will be at your show! So thanks a million Tim :)

carmen on Sunday, 28 November 2010

found your videos via blog of dan savage. seriously tim incredibly GREAT work! my whole family has now destroyed our wellbeing for tomorrow from staying up until the wee hours watching as much of your work as we can find! LOVE IT! any chance you might come to PORTLAND, Oregon, US?????? Please please please, pleeeeeeease!!!

Jon Evans on Saturday, 27 November 2010

Hi Tim. I'm Jon the piano tuner. We met at your second Cambridge gig. It was great to chat to you and have a photo with you. Your compliments about the piano were flattering. The gig was fab (I'm so glad I wasn't wearing beige trousers). It's so refreshing to see a comic / musician who displays so much intelligence, talent and insight into the human condition. Wishing you the best of luck with your arena tour. If you need your Yamaha S6 tuning, drop me a line. Best wishes, Jon.

Martin on Saturday, 27 November 2010

Hi Tim, My daughter bought me your video got to say she has converted me to a fan, loved the show, hope to see you live someday, Keep on Rockin)

Navarre on Friday, 26 November 2010

Less than a month 'til Christmas...looking forward to drinking white wine in the sun. I don't want to commercialise it, but everyone on my 'prezzy' list will be getting some Tim in their stockings this Christmas. Please come to Ulladulla - you don't need to do a show, just stop by for a beer.

Lene Farmer on Friday, 26 November 2010

Hi Tim, I saw your Work In Progress at the Junction, Cambridge, and I thought it was brilliant. You'll be absolutely amazing at the NEC and I can't wait to see the songs you performed with an entire Orchestra. Good luck and have fun! P.S. I hope your daughter had a lovely birthday <3

Paavo Suominen on Friday, 26 November 2010

i think i need you in Finland! tho we speak the alternative languake witch no one knows.. but i still need to see your show.

Becca on Friday, 26 November 2010

Sheet music books must be published. No buts.

Jeff on Friday, 26 November 2010

Come to CANADA!!!! please. thank you.

Agashem on Friday, 26 November 2010

It seems so unfair to have learned to love you in the UK and now to be denied any access to seeing you live as we now live in Canada (where we started out from in the first place). If there is ever a chance that you would do a gig in Canada, rest assured there is one family who will be in attendance. *sigh*

Dave Taylor on Thursday, 25 November 2010

Hey, saw you at the Junction last night! You were brilliant, comically and acoustically awesome. I think the fact you screwed up a few times, but kept the audience involved shows how much of a good entertainer you are (you could always "pretend" to screw up on the arena tour, would go down well, haha). And I can't wait to hear the music with an orchestral backing. Gonna be awesome... See ya at the O2!!!!

Natalie Davies on Thursday, 25 November 2010

Tim, My husband and I saw you last night at the Junction in Cambridge and you were fantastic! It was such an enjoyable evening of music and comedy, you were warm and friendly to the audience (mostly - apart from beige trouser man)! I wasn't sure what to expect from the gig and we had travelled from Norwich on a cold winter evening (me being 34 weeks pregnant) but it was well worth it for the fun and intimate gig you performed for us! Thanks for the entertainment and GOOD LUCK for your upcoming arena tour! Im sure you'll love it really! xxx

Sarah on Wednesday, 24 November 2010

Hey, I just wanted to tell you that while I'm not a huge fan, I do love "If I Didn't Have You." It was played while we signed our marriage contract on 10/29, keeping in mind that at this wedding there was no actual dancing, I wore a purple cocktail dress, and Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, was hosting a party in the next room.

Dan Kenyon and crew on Tuesday, 23 November 2010

I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!! I got my mates hooked!!!!! Were coming to see you in Cardiff!!!!!! Can you give us a shoot out????

T.Clarence Taylor on Tuesday, 23 November 2010

Mr. Minchin, We (the U.S.) would like to invite you to entertain us on the date(s) of your choosing. We are a good audience with the proper amount of attention and boisterousness needed to make your visit worthwhile and enjoyable. Most of us do, in fact, have more teeth than tattoos, married no closer than our 2nd cousin, don't own a gun but know how to fire one, and we've gotten rid of the last Presidential Administration. So, we are, in fact, trying to be civilized. Please remember that we are a simple people, though some are more simple than others. I'll close for now, (the dog needs vacuuming) anticipating an affirmative answer. Thank you.

Sam Heff (Portsmouth) on Tuesday, 23 November 2010

I'm laughing at all the Yanks asking "come to (enter state here), please we love you!!!!" No yankee people! we Brits love Tim more!!!! and we wear purple and silver shoes. ^-^ besides that... lol total hypocrit, could you possibly include Portsmouth Guildhall on your very small tour????? I'd be much obliged. =) And Mr Minchin, you are So F*****g Rock!

Alexandria on Tuesday, 23 November 2010

you freakin rock my socks off! ...seriously my socks, their off! I would love if you came to the US...MN to be more precise. hahaha... had i know about you when i was in Europe i would've tried to see one of your shows. Keep up the AWESOME work! Love your humor

Shana on Monday, 22 November 2010

Please, please, please, pretty please come to the US (Austin/Houston)!!! We're not all ignorant, Bible thumping, Koran burning, straw hat wearing, cousin marrying, backwards baptist hicks! If Carlin was able to make it here, so can you!!

Frex65 on Monday, 22 November 2010

You're a nasty, rude, self-obsessed git and you make us howl. For a pair of miserable old farts who don't laugh at anything much, that's no mean feat. Most comedy lacks wit. Yours certainly doesn't. Can't wait to see you live. Cheers

Dani on Sunday, 21 November 2010

Tim, I think that you are so amazing :) I cannot wait to see you on the 16th .. Over the last year i have become very fond of your material; You are a pure musical genius. Im in love with you :D xxxxx

Damianne on Sunday, 21 November 2010

You should come to America, specifically Austin, TX. I would recommend avoiding the rest of Texas, though. I'm proposing this as career advice, but really it's just a selfish desire to see you live without the impossibility of earning enough extra money to go to the UK.

marc on Sunday, 21 November 2010

hey Tim I came to see the premiere of Storm in Bristol the other night. It was a good evening - thanks When question time came up I nearly asked ( but the guy at the back was all a bit high brow, so i bit my tongue) the thought that was rattling round... I have seen you perform Storm live a few times now, my favourite from the moment i first heard it., but not until I saw the cartoon had I ever made the visual leap and pictured you as Shaggy....... DC missed a trick and should have given you the walk - if just for 1/2 second Well Tim - that must be one of those unspoken lifetime ambitions ticked off "ROIYKKS!"

soapy greenwood on Sunday, 21 November 2010

I'm absolutely mortified, I'm goin to Australia and you're in the UK! I'm looking forward to seeing you live. You are fantastically funny but above all a top class musician! love ya!

Kay Thomas on Sunday, 21 November 2010

If we weren't both in relationships I would make it my personal mission to stalk you and aquire your seed.... actually, I wouldn't rely on my reasoning. Watch out, my love!

Sasha on Sunday, 21 November 2010

You are pretty funny, I love to laugh.

Saskia on Thursday, 18 November 2010

Hey; I'm not even living in Holland and I think you should go there... They'd love you there!!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH and incidently am very good at baking. I will bring you cookies any day :) Saskia

Simen on Thursday, 18 November 2010

You should definitely visit the Benelux sometime. As you mentioned; you use a broad spectrum of the English language and it would obviously be very hard to reach a french, spanish, italian or german audience. For the Dutch and the Belgians however, it's a little different. Most of our entertainment(tv and cinemas) is english and I know lots of people that understood and appreciated your material rightaway. At least give it some consideration, I'll be flying over to Birmingham upcoming 8 dec, but there's a lot more people that I'd like to introduce to your show!

Robi on Thursday, 18 November 2010

Hey Tim, just been watching a heap of your youtube videos and i love your work. You need to do the Melbourne Comedy Festival more! I was wondering how your Storm animation movie was coming along, it's a fantastic piece of comedy. Cheers.

alice gale on Wednesday, 17 November 2010

Hello. I am upset. I wish to see you live. However, I have no money to travel, (or do much else) so I was wondering if you'd like to bring your marvellously intelligent mind over to Dorchester in Dorset, England. It would be extremely appreciated by not only me, but a lot of people. My friends and I are a little insane (in a literal way) and when we are depressed (which is most of the time as we have severe depression among other things) we listen to your songs. (or we drink and listen to your songs! :P) you could come round mine and have fun with normalish people :) me and one other person... though you would however have to put up with my stupid crazy cat. best wishes. Alice

Andre van Bijsterveld on Wednesday, 17 November 2010

Hi Tim When i look at your tour calendar, i only see England and Aurstralia. Not to put any pressure on you, but how do you think the rest of the world can go on without you ever visiting? Especialy Holland:-) Please come our way..you are so close!

Tiago Nunes on Wednesday, 17 November 2010

you're a true inspiration, you definitely know how to put things into perspective thank u Portugal

David Osorio on Tuesday, 16 November 2010

Hey, Tim. You blow my mind. Keep up the nice work. Greetings from Colombia.

Matt Barton on Monday, 15 November 2010

Hey, you (personally) probably won't read this, too busy with your four million other fans dying to perform various degree's of degraded fellatio (ha, fellatio) and trying to juggle your wife, gigs and whatever else but I just wanted to admit to you quite unashamedly that you really inspired me to take up piano again. I played for around four years at school and then stopped when my studies took up too much of my time. Watching three or four of your video's (not perfect, rock and roll nerd and prejudice, I think) have made me honestly consider saving up for a baby grand. I just wanted to say thanks. Oh and I wanted to ask if you'd be really kind and abduct me from the endless monotony of home/college/work. Just one day, touring, seeing, playing, talking, meeting, greeting, shouting, singing, the lot. I could just read my book with a nice glass of Australian rose or a chardonnay (I'm not sucking up, Australian wine just tastes better) and hide, beaming with glee just being there. I could even help, I suppose, if you have any opening's or need for a boring sod who has a surprising ability to make people laugh and feel extremely awkward at the same time. Anyway, back to reality matt, I just wanted to say cheers for being the thing that gets me through the day Tim, the songs make me smile wherever I am. Matt Barton, 18, Tenbury Wells

Lorraine White on Monday, 15 November 2010

Deanna on Monday, 15 November 2010

I love you man! I heard of you from another famous comedian who suggested to check you out on a note from his facebook. I ended up watching damn near every video of you on youtube. You truly are a genis. I would love to go to a show and meet you one day. You should have a tour in the US, I would most definitely go!

Synnøve Byrkjedal on Saturday, 13 November 2010

Discovered you while my husband and I were on our honeymoon in Edinburgh. Was relaxing and watching TV in the hotel when we came across a show. At first we were unsure what on earth this thing was, but after a few minutes we were laughing. Loudly! The next day we went straight to the shop and bought the DVD. Back home we have forced all our friends to watch the DVD with us. They had the same reaction, and now all our friends love you as well :) Can't wait for the next DVD to come out.

Andy B on Saturday, 13 November 2010

Love everything you've done Tim. Found you quite by accident on youtube and was blown away both by your comedy / poetry and your quite unbelievable piano skills. (I've since quit the piano). Watched the Tim Minchin story last week. Amazing. Best wishes to you and your family...

Caz Bickerstaffe on Friday, 12 November 2010

I have been trying to get in contact with your fairies but they seem to be slacking greatly at the moment, I have e-mailed a request and don't seem to be getting any response. I am very disheartened by this!!! You need to give your fairies a much needed shout to get them back on track so they can reply and keep up with the demands of your dedicated fans. Looking forward to the gig in Manchester on the 17th December!!!! I can't wait!!! :oD xxxxx

Deanna Raye on Friday, 12 November 2010

I just wanted to say keep up the good work :D

James on Friday, 12 November 2010

Just got back in from seeing Matilda. It was beautiful fun and a really great way to spend an evening. I loved it will be back for more. If you are within a 4000km radius of this show, then please go and see it. You won't regret it. It's on for a few months here, so plenty of time to harass your parents or children to take you. Thanks for being such a great bloke to meet too, Tim. I'm surprised I was able to form words.

Don on Tuesday, 9 November 2010

I'm struggling trying to phrase a compliment that encompasses your playing, singing and lyrics all at once, and now am remembering Mr. Burns' "three stooges syndrome". So instead I'll thank you for reminding me of something I really enjoyed.

Sharon on Tuesday, 9 November 2010

You need to come to Sheffield. My Daughter and I think your fabby dabby we would love to see you live :)

Hey Tim, just a quick message to say how much I love your stuff. Myself and my fiance are even using one of your songs in our wedding next July - thought it would warp the oldies (we're like that!) :-) Looking forward to seeing you in Birmingham in December and going to see Maltida as well. x

JCarrera on Saturday, 6 November 2010

Hey Tim I've entered the dvd trailer competition (JCarrera) I wish I had known about it earlier! I don't think its fair to only judge the 3 with the highest view count. You wouldn't hier someone for a job based on how many friends they have on facebook lol. And besides my view counter is stuck lol. Good luck to all the other entries, love ur work Tim xx
