Here’s a place you can leave random comments about stuff that you feel isn’t particularly related to the News. Maybe you just want to say hi. Maybe you want to critique a piece of my work. Maybe you want to ask me where I live and come and bring me cookies. Whatever. Stick it in the box down below.

Oh, and please don’t post links or email addresses, or the spambot filter robot will take offence and refuse to publish.

Hi Tim, I just watched the YouTube clip of Genius with you and Alexei Sayle and it was one of the funniest things I have ever seen. The false teeth with the harmonica were hilarious. Oh, yes, and of course I'm a big fan of your music; lovely, catchy melodies & clever lyrics. Thank you, Cathrine Beaunae

Hi Tim, I know that you have done Matilda and everything, and I saw your 'so fucking rock' live on tv a year ago and then brought all your dvd shows! but I was wondering if you are doing anymore big tours because you haven't done one since 2011 or is that it for big tours because now that you have a family and everything your just sticking to small things? just wanted to know? thanks!

WHEN ARE YOU COMING TO THE "STATES"? Yes, I just yelled at you. Sorry, but I thought I would emphasize how emphatically myself and others over here would like to see and hear your brilliance. I think Philadelphia would be a great town for you to land in.

Hey Tim. I'm a big fan from South America, Uruguay. Might make no sense (because of the english vs. spanish thing) but any chance you come down to South America and do a gig sometime?

Just sitting around making cookies and dinner with the friends listening to your YouTube stuff. Thank you for sharing your humor, thoughts, and point of view with the world. Hope to see you perform live one day.

I haven't been a fan of anyone since high school and that was 10yrs ago.. However, after stumbling over one of your youtube videos I fell in love with your work! Everything you say just makes so much sense, even if it doesn't at times it's so well performed! I love the way you use your artistic talent to convey your thoughts/open people's eyes.. You rock! love u

Hi Tim, Do you have any dates when you'll be playing Sydney in 2015? Cheers, S.

Hi Tim, just reminiscing of coming to see you in JCS last year and it got me wondering whether you'll be coming back to the UK any time soon? Sadly, I was under the age restriction to come to your finale gig, and I live nowhere near London so coming to Hyde park wasn't an option :( Any opportunity to see you live would be incredible, and I hope you will :) (if you could also possibly do some stuff with Ross Noble I know that I certainly wouldn't be complaining xD) Hoping everything is good with you :)

Hello Tim. With my three little ones tucked up in bed, I had a moment's inspiration: lay down and listen to the ABC Podcast of Tim's interview with Margaret Throsby that I missed today. Listen I did. With a smile on my face. Really enjoyed listening to your anecdotes - both personal and professional. Such a modest way of navigation. (Was picturing your performance of Jungle Boogie when we were studying together at the Con.) Pure Magic. Still. So glad Mathilda is heading this way - though am hoping you might bring it further South to Wellington where we move to live in January. My 6 yr old daughter would love it! Hope to see you one day soon.

We need you to come to Arizona. I've just found you in the last year and LOVE your musical comedy. There is absolutely no one else like you that I've ever seen. Your are a phenom who cuts through with such pointed comical insight. God we need to see more of you. Please consider Tucson or Phoenix. We will be there when you are.

What's up with the gig calendar. It's empty. Hope everything is ok and someone is just not keeping up with the calendar.

Hi Tim Thought you'd appreciate this. My 13 year old has just seen you on the ABCs Mental Health - Friday Night Crackup and pipes up and says "isn't there an Olympic diver called Tim Minchin?", and then after seeing you sitting at the piano, pipes up again and says "that guy's in Metallica!". Rock on James. Yeah!

I can't believe I've only found Tim now! I stumbled on him via Facebook and his graduation speech that's going around. I teach molecular biology at University and will be using Tim's work in my course. I imagine he has pissed off a lot of people and I commend him for it. I will be telling everyone I know (and all my students) about Tim. Keep cutting through the bullshit. You are awesome!

Janet on Wednesday, 8 October 2014

Hi Tim! Just occurred to me it's been over two years since I saw you perform, and was wondering if you had any gigs lined up anytime in 2015. The "Gigs" calendar on this site is depressingly empty ... :( From a Filipina fan. :D

Andrea B. on Tuesday, 7 October 2014

Happy Birthday, Tim Minchin! Wishing you a year of love and vitality.

I have just watched 'Jesus Christ Superstar' on dvd (unfortunately I didn't see it when you were live in London as I had only just had my second child!!!) and I was blown away by your amazing performance. You were fantastic in the role of Judas and I can't stop singing 'Heaven on their minds'!!! Is there any chance that you will be bringing it back to London? My husband and I are both musicians and we are big fans of your work! Any plans to do any more Musicals?

Hello Tim & (his fairies) Warnng: I barely finished high school. I'm not stupid just not well educated - hense there may be some grammatical errors... Sorry in advance. I too, recently saw your commencement speech. It's what I love about FB even though I hate FB, twitter and the like b/c too often I feel ... just icky after participating for what is sometimes too much time to mention (as it's embarrassing) when I could have been reading a book or exercising or meditating or making pictures ... BUT ( I apologize, again as I'm not saying anything new here) your speech to the graduates was the best thing I'd seen in a long time. I'm gay btw. I shared it with my gf of 19 years (she is well educated- Yalie (abphd) and doesn't participate much in social media- only when I show her something I think she'd appreciate) and she did, your speech. "Be a teacher... And if your not a teacher be a teacher" I've shared that line a few times since. Brilliant you are. I wish we were friends. I'm a good appreciator of smart minds and silliness. I didn't know who you were but after looking at your websites- aha! Matilda! Wow- fancy that! I saw it twice- once with a nephew and once with a niece ( and I don't frequent broadway, in fact that may have been only the 5th show I've ever seen in my older than middle aged life - the first being Hair in the 70's) Anyway... Sorry to go on but .... I wish.... we were family. weird. Sorry. Thank you for being my teacher. ( My 8th grade English teacher became my family... He married my mom many moons ago. They're divorced now of course but we're all still family. I hope, at least that my over sharing may have caused a smile, if instead it begot an eye roll than just consider me dead from embarrassment. Thanks you ( ?)

I just listened to a graduation speech you gave. It was so profound and thought provoking. I have read a lot and not come across something so eloquent, humane, moving, humble, gentle and far reaching. Incredibly insightful. Just unbelievable.
