Here’s a place you can leave random comments about stuff that you feel isn’t particularly related to the News. Maybe you just want to say hi. Maybe you want to critique a piece of my work. Maybe you want to ask me where I live and come and bring me cookies. Whatever. Stick it in the box down below.

Oh, and please don’t post links or email addresses, or the spambot filter robot will take offence and refuse to publish.

Hi Tim from Newfoundland, Canada. Love your act and performance, we would love for you to visit Newfoundland someday.

Hi Tim! Broke my ankle a couple of weeks ago quite severely and can't really walk for the next 3 months - so had a keyboard bought into my room with the intention of learning to play it post surgery recovery. Just thought you might like to know that your style of playing/singing that I have coined "virtuosic melodic slop" has been a complete inspiration and a real joy to listen to - "not perfect" in particular is favourite, one which I will be spending a large majority of my time trying to poorly imitate. Get some gigs in the diary so I can buy some tickets for me and my friends in 2017! Love your work, Dan

I just want to know if you have written down your pieces because I would quite like to play 'Prejudice' or 'You Grew On Me,' or 'Cheese' as these are my favourite pieces of yours in a suitable key, that is easy to sing, not in a ridiculously high key or low key. If you have done this please may I have the music!! If not, well what-ev's!

Such good material. You encompass Bill Bailey, Bill Hicks, George Carlin and Steve Hughes with the communication style and skill and charm of Derren Brown. Funny, socially beneficial humour that is highly entertaining and can plant the seed of growth within people who are too uptight, easily offended or outwardly forceful with their views of reality and how people should be and believe just like them. Please keep doing what you are doing and put out tons more material and make it available on DVD and digital download. Your material is pure gold.

Saw NY Comedy Festival Shows at the Beacon last night. Can't remember seeing a performer having more fun doing schtick than Tim. 'Course my partner and I had even MORE fun. Yeah, heard all the songs before. So what?! It was a blast to be there. Loved the really funny bits about bodies being wonderlands and living each day as your last. Piano chops are pretty damned spectacular. Thanks for the encores - much appreciated - loved the sing along on Hallelujah. Little bit of a tear, it was very moving. (But for the guy next to me harmonizing in "f-sharp". But he was really enthusiastic so some credit there.) The whole evening was a nice counterpoint to getting there--driving I-95 into The City around rush hour is like taking a ride on a roller coaster you know has a missing bolt or two somewhere. Patton Oswalt (who preceded Tim) is my hero. Pure courage in a small package. Maybe he should be president(?) Can't wait until spring. GHD. Getting tickets today!

Congratulations on Groundhog Day coming to NYC. Congratulations! A picture of me and my granddaughter appear of your "Matilda" map. I took her to the performance for her 6th birthday. I peeped her well with the book and your marvelous score. She knows all the songs. I look forward to your performance tonight at the Beacon theatre. What is the protocol to leave you a small gift? Thanks. MaryLou from New Jersey

Dear Tim Minchin, We are from St Kilda Primary School and we have been trying to save the St Kilda penguins by making reusable bags out of t-shirts. We heard your song 'take your canvas bags to the supermarket' and really liked it. We decided to change the word 'canvas' to 't-shirt' and sing it at assembly to help raise awareness for our stall. It is going to be sung on Monday 7th November which is also National Recycling week. From 1B, St Kilda Primary School, Melbourne.
