Here’s a place you can leave random comments about stuff that you feel isn’t particularly related to the News. Maybe you just want to say hi. Maybe you want to critique a piece of my work. Maybe you want to ask me where I live and come and bring me cookies. Whatever. Stick it in the box down below.

They may have passed THIS test, but they mustn't become complacent. They won't all be that easy. Today I found out that listening to You Grew On Me when you've just found out that your boyfriend's sister's guinea pig has died is a bad thing, it brings out emotions you'd probably rather keep inside when you're driving home! But thank you for writing a beautiful song :) even if it did make me mourn the loss of a guinea pig.

Jerzy on Saturday, 31 March 2007

you passed the test

Hello Bye

Jerzy on Tuesday, 20 March 2007

*looks at message* That looked as if I were saying my hubs is #2... nah he's just the other Tim fan standing behind me as I'm crooning along with the music. *reminds self to decrease the coffee intake because she's scary that way*

Jerzy on Tuesday, 20 March 2007

Tim, Hope all is going well as you start the shows in Adelaide! Stay well, laugh hard, enjoy life you're #1 American fan *shoves husband out of spotlight* He's number 2 but we won't tell him.. kk?

Me on Tuesday, 20 March 2007

Saw your show tonight in Adelaide and I laughed the whole way through! I have a new respect for Canvas Bags! Pitty about the noise outside, I think you should have gone out there and told them to shut up!

David (aka. "Midget 2000") on Tuesday, 20 March 2007

Yo Tim, the name's Dave and I just wanted to say I'm a huge fan and that I'm short. Yes that's right I'm short.

Everyone on Sunday, 18 March 2007

*Sarah* on Saturday, 17 March 2007

Haha well, glad you sorted that out yourself! Have fun listening to it!

Rosanna on Saturday, 17 March 2007

Oh god how embarassing, I just realised its from the Darkside album! I'm okay now! No help needed!

Rosanna on Saturday, 17 March 2007

Hello! Does anyone know where I could download/listen to/find lyrics/ANYTHING for the hymn Tim sings at the end of his New Year show that was on bbc radio? Its somehting like "This is my earth, and its fine...its where I spent the vast majority of my time..." I absolutely adore it, and it would be fanatsic if I could listen to it again, I was devastated when I found I couldnt listen to the show on bbc after a week! (I really hope this is the right place to ask stuff like this!) Thankyou!

Aah well, you know books, they can be temperamental when thrown. You never know what they might get up to.. Hope your lurgy behaves itself and packs its bags sharpish.

Kirsty on Thursday, 15 March 2007

K, why would you need to duck the book unless you were standing less than 12 inches away from me? And if you ARE standing less than 12 inches away from me... careful... I have the dreaded lurgy.

K on Wednesday, 14 March 2007

@ Kirsty (ducking books) - Why thank-you *blush*. I'm going to blame young Master Minchin for reminding me vocabulary can be Fun :) And wiffling on, yes, much like waffling, only in my head at least higher pitched & more excitable...

Kirsty on Wednesday, 14 March 2007

*throws book so weakly that it lands about 12 inches from my feet* ... There! That'll show you!

Australian Caroline on Wednesday, 14 March 2007

Kirsty has had many evening with Tim, so she should be ineligible to enter the competition. *ducks as nearest book to hand is flung by Kirsty in my direction*

*Sarah* on Wednesday, 14 March 2007

Only if I win a prize too for having message number 301...for 301 is an equally important number, that's a well known fact. I'm sure lots of money went into research to draw that conclusion. What a fucking waste. Let's win an evening with Tim. Yeah!

Kirsty on Wednesday, 14 March 2007

I agree with Sparkly Sarah... your serious stuff is awesome. (This is guestbook message number 300! Do I win a prize?)

*Sarah* on Wednesday, 14 March 2007

Just watched the vid of you singing Hallelujah again and I actually shed a tear! Maybe that's just cos I'm having a bad day, and I always get over emotional when things go a bit pants, but it really is beautiful :) I don't think it'd be a bad thing if you did more serious stuff in the future, I'd love to hear you sing more stuff like that :) just don't give up comedy or I'd have to kill you :D

Kirsty on Wednesday, 14 March 2007

Aha! This reminds me! Tim... my old schoolfriend Sarah, who you met on Saturday, now really likes you. I have been trying to convert her for MONTHS. Dragging her along to a live show was my final effort, and it worked! Yay!

Sarah (not your wife) on Wednesday, 14 March 2007

There really are too many of us Sarah's in the world of Tim Minchin, it's starting to confuse everyone! Just to clarify, I'm 19 and from Kent, England...hello! Oh and Tim, the other day a friend from primary school found me on Facebook, and when I told him I do music production, his response was "oh wow music production, you're so lucky, I always wanted to take my music more seriously, but now I'm training to be a lawyer". I felt like I'd actually stepped into one of your routines.

Australian Caroline on Wednesday, 14 March 2007

What is it with you and girls named Sarah????? How many of them are you going to enslave? I swear girls named Sarah are born with a Timmy homing beacon implanted in their brain. Wish my name was Sarah :( AC *Listening to God* xxxx

Sarah (not your wife) on Tuesday, 13 March 2007

Wiffling makes me think of an old english gentleman saying waffling but in his crazed, upper class accent. The same sort of gent who might be found saying "pip pip old chap, i say, spiffing stuff" I can't believe that not only did I not find the news page til last night, but I didn't find this page til this morning. I really don't know what's wrong with me, but I'm glad I'm gradually finding all the good things!

Jamie on Monday, 12 March 2007

It means to waffle... go on abit.... avoiding the point....

Kirsty on Monday, 12 March 2007

I like this K person. I like the use of the words "proselytising" and "wiffling". Not sure what that last one means, really, but I like it.

K on Sunday, 11 March 2007

Having missed you in Newbury & Reading (yes, I know, unforgivable), we finally caught up to your last UK gig in the wilds of Swindon last night. Aah but the boy's got Talent :D Fair makes me want to spit with jealousy, which is fortunately tricky whilst crying with laughter. Having done our research beforehand (one does, indeed, have to Plan), some stuff was familiar and therefore eminently sing-along-able (or at least hum-along-able, as my brain's not quite that agile..), but special mention has to go to 'Rock n Roll Nerd' and 'Not Perfect' for general all-round fabulousness. As you're so blatantly possessed by comedy- & rock- godliness, we'll now be merrily proselytising in the key of Tim to all & sundry, which probably won't help you very much, but can't actually be stopped in the current state of gushiness. Must stop wiffling on now. Thank-you so much for great night out, have fun on the rest of the tour, and hurry back!

Tunbridge Wells 9th March Simply the funniest and best show I have ever seen. I genuinely thought I would have a coronary. I've never seen a reaction like that from a TW audience either - great stuff Come back soon!!

Russell on Saturday, 10 March 2007

Hi Just came back from your Tonbridge Wells gig, top night thanks. Saw you first on the bill of the animal charity thing in January and then booked for this. Just letting you knowe that charity pays Thanks Russell

Australian Caroline on Friday, 9 March 2007

Hi Timmy, The tim tams arrived. Hey you're probably got them in your hot little hands! Hope the gig went very well and jinx (I mean Kirsty) didn't provide any technical fuck-ups She's going to kill me for calling her jinx xxxx

Paul henson on Friday, 9 March 2007

Hi Tim, Saw you recently in Epsom, UK. I can't describe how good I thought the gig was. I needed cheering up and got it. I've been playing both CD's at home or in the car and explaining to anyone who'll listen why they should see you next time around. Hope the world catches up to your talent. Paul H

Tim ... just wanted to let you know that you were an Aspen phenom! Everyone who saw you LOVED you. I am sure you must be quite used to the immense amounts of love, but really to get that from a crowd like Aspen ... NUTTERS! All the money I spent during my week at the Festival was worth it just to see your show! Cannot wait to see you here again in the States!

Caroline Lewis on Monday, 5 March 2007

"First the worst, second the best, third the royal princess..." *has regressed to primary school* Congrats Tim x

Jamie on Monday, 5 March 2007
