Hi Tim, or anyone who writes in his name I just want to tell that it was really great to know your work, songs, thougts, music, timing for humor and sharp mind, on the internet. As an Argentinian, I did not know you until last week when a friend of mine post a video from your Woody Allen Jesus performance in that TV show. I get a little bit of english in real time in songs or fast talking situations, but this version was spanish subtitled and I have to say that it was so hilarious that it was hard to explain to my wife what I was laughing from. Thanks to you tube I could know you better and I have to say that a great admiration feeling starts after "Storm", "Inflatable you", The Pope song" and "Angry Feet". Not Only for the comediant, but the musician, the bright ideas and great use of words an timing. Hope you can do more and more of your art and it will be great for me if I can be around next a show of yours, sometime. Surely I`ll be on the audience. Thanks to bring so great humor to atheism and scientific method to understand and express irony. Sorry for my english, but my spanish is not so good either... Great regards and the best wishes for your life and mind. R.

New Zealand here, you're freaking awesome! I think I've now watched everything of yours and conclude that you are so witty and talented, overall...amazing, I've never laughed so hard in my life. It's difficult to choose but my favourite would have to be your 'dark humour and wife humour' which had me in tears by 0.50! Keep it up, we love you :D

Dear Tim,I am Hungarian (and not perfect). It has been a long time ago that I had a reason to laugh. Too many burdens have blinded me to just how wonderful life is (or can be), but thanks to you I opened my mind and let hope move in... I wish you all the best, and once again THANK YOU for "touching" me and for making me laugh!

OK, I take it back. No longer funny that there are several spam postings for psychic services. The absurdity of it was almost as good as Google Ad's recommendation..."Do you want to become a pastor?" as I'm trying to watch Thank you God on Youtube. (that little x is too small - can't get rid of those fast enough) But but save your breath, Psychic Friends, I'm pretty sure this is the most inneffective place to post throughout the inter webs. Hi Tim!!

Any chance your DVDs will be come out for US viewing? Or maybe itunes can carry more than just the one album and some singles? (kick ass album and singles, mind you.) Finally, a performer with my sense of humor and I can't download shinola. Free crappy idea- the US needs a musical about our polarized political system. The Fence is a great anchor song, sums up what's wrong with us

Liz in Oz on Friday, 26 April 2013

Tim, I saw you on the "Southbank Show" with Melvyn Bragg and think SKY would be on a winner if they released this great interview on DVD plus full versions of the performances they recorded (at the Coronet?) as extras. I am just addicted to your bluegrass version of "Understand It" but re-playing the first few bars over and over isn't enough! Honestly I am sure there would be many who would pay good money to have a copy of this. And, as every performance of yours is different, I would also love to have the versions they recorded of your other songs (Prejudice et al) which are not already on other DVD's. I am really hoping someone from SKY reads this and runs with the idea. As so many were unable to access the interview anyway, they would be sure to do well out of it. Keep well, Tim, we are all looking forward to your coming trip to Australia.

Hi Tim, I belong to a little atheist group that meets on Sunday mornings (yes that is rather strange and ironic) and one of the group members posted a link to a youtube video of yours a couple of weeks ago. I haven't been in a cave but I hadn't heard of you before that time. I've spent some time watching clips of you on the internet since then. Being a recovering catholic, I've enjoyed them a lot. Based on the videos I've seen you seem to be a genuinely nice and intelligent person and a uniquely talented performer (not sucking up too much I hope). I like all your songs but I think I like White Wine in the Sun best of all because it expresses so much of what I feel about family. I wish you continued success and hope to see you if you ever do a show within driving distance of Minneapolis again. I know I missed you at the Pantages Theater on July 16, 2011. Oh well...

Sad nite -- no new episode of Californication -- miss my Monday's seeing you on TV. But did watch Jesus Christ Superstar instead.

Liisa on Monday, 15 April 2013

Hi Tim, My son pointed me in your direction just this past week. The first thing I saw was your performance on Andrew Lloyd Webber's 40th anniversary show. There you were, this fierce, amazing lion of a man singing a song which I absolutely love. Thank you. Then over the next few days I watched more of your work; amazing. I wish you continued success.

Alison on Monday, 15 April 2013

I first saw you on Californication, having no idea who you were, then an old mate from the UK put one of your songs up on Facebook about a month ago. I was blown away. I can't stop watching you on YouTube ! There is no talent like yours anywhere out there and the US audience doesn't know what is coming ! You are awesome. Being a Brit living in the US since 2000 I missed your 'coming out' in the UK. I went to Uni in Northampton, UK (yeah, I know), and did open mikes, hung around, wrote some songs and made some mistakes with a guitarist.... then came to the US to live my dream as a singer, song writer. However, never believed in myself or my talents. You are one talented man with a huge future in the US. So glad you make it states side and I can't wait for some US tours (please come up to Boston !!!). Simply love you, man ! My favourites are Not Perfect and Dark Side. Sheer awesomeness. You make me want to get back to the piano and write stuff again. Thank you for sharing your talents with the world.

Alexander Quattrociocchi on Sunday, 14 April 2013

Mr. Minchin, I think your music is so funny and thought-provoking, reminiscent of The Barenaked Ladies and Weird Al Yankovic (of course with your own twist). I don't listen to any other artist at the moment. I'm even currently listening to "Not Perfect" on repeat as background music for my work. You're one of the handful of celebrities I'd really like to meet and talk to. If you're ever up in Canada (more specifically Toronto), I'd definitely make an effort to see you. And maybe I could bring you a bottle of my grandfather's home-made wine. Though of course I'd settle for conversing by correspondence if someone as busy as you can find the time. One of your many fans, Alexander Quattrociocchi

Hello, Tim! I just wanted to say I love your work! You'll probably never come to my country, Argentina, so you HAVE to keep posting videos on youtube for my enjoyment. Good luck with all your projects and remember... here in Argentina we love you too!

Is the acoustic version of "so long (as we are together)" from Californication final episode available? I love this song

Luke Kent on Friday, 12 April 2013

Hey Tim, Hey man, I just finnished watching some more of your work and had to tell you that you are the shit. I also want to tell you that out of all of the Artists that I have admired and enjoyed over the years, you are the FIRST that I have ever felt compelled to bother with looking up and messaging. I have enjoyed your comedy, you are a funny bastard (that is a term of endearment in Australia, which I'm sure you know), your sets make me laugh my ass off and make me think about the world in which we live. The intended result I am sure. But your acting in Californication was genius and your character hilariously played, if that is a word. This is the reason I am sending you this message. This is my favourite fucken show EVER.... and your character is my favourite of them all ( well my favourite of all male characters, you just can't compete with some of those female cast members.....OMG, how can they keep coming up with hotter after hotter actors every season. Thumbs up to casting). Fuck me you made me laugh. You, "Nailed It, MotherrrrrFuckerrrr," as Hank would say. My cynical nature tells me that I'm sure YOU won't actually read this, but just in case, and presuming that you are like the rest of us and enjoy praise and thanks....YOU ARE A FUCKEN GENIOUS MAN.... and i look forward to seeing you in your next roll. Cheers mate, Luke

I would like to add my plea to those who are begging you to come to the US. Apparently, you were in Wisconsin at one time!! And didn't I read you were in Rhode Island too? Well, geez, how about Michigan then? Or, if not, how about Chicago or LA or SOMEwhere in the United States!! Love your work! You are an absolute genius!

Mark Newell on Thursday, 11 April 2013

Sat behind you in a bar in DC three years ago -and have followed you ever since (on media only!). Love your role on Californication.

Emily Boettcher on Thursday, 11 April 2013

I can't believe I'm just now learning about you! You're the most talented performer I've come across in years! I would love to buy all of you're DVDs but before I do, I must ask; in the near future do you plan on getting DVDs produced that will work in the NTSC machines? Also, just knowing you've been to Wisconsin in the past gives me hopes that you may come back again, it would be crazy rad if you did! I'm completely smitten with you Minchin, thanks for all the work you do!

polo90 on Thursday, 11 April 2013

Hey there! Scrolling trough several comments I noticed that basically everybody wants you everywhere... I put myself in the tremendously long queue and therefore ask you sincerely to come to Switzerland (or just somewhere closer than GB...) Wit, sarcasm and sceptism are liked by the overwhelming majority of people in the german speaking countries! At least I hope so, 'cause otherwise my entire circle of friends would be rather pissed about my sloppy attempts to include some of those attributes to my manners... Aaand we're not to bad in English either. ;) The continent needs you! So please jump out of youtube onto one of our stages. Hope to see you soon...

cindy on Wednesday, 10 April 2013

Good luck at the NYC opening of Matilda -- you must be sooooo excited.

Helen on Monday, 8 April 2013

Hi Tim, I'd like to invite you to Christchurch NZ to perform a show to cheer up the people. It is really shit here. I used to call it the flat city because topographically it is rather flat, but now that we have demolished 80% of the buildings in the CBD following the recent earthquakes it really is flat so I can't call it that anymore. We have a beautiful town hall with world renowned acoustics, but that is buggered so you'd have to play in the CBS Canterbury Arena, where admittedly the acoustics are pretty rubbish. Don't be put off by the name of our city. Dawkins came to do a lecture here in 2010 (at the Town Hall, where the acoustics are great, just before the earthquakes) and he got a 'rock star' reception (that is what they wrote in the paper). We still have 3 great restaurants, 2 bars that are pretty good and 1 decent hotel where you could stay. Anyway, have a think about it, the people here are stressed out dealing with insurance companies to get their houses fixed or rebuilt and could do with a good laugh. Cheers.

Mr Minchin, my wife and I just saw your Showtime concert at Royal Albert Hall with the Heritage Symphony Orchestra and I like to say that you are a very talented musician and a gifted writer of lyrics which point out our human condition. Please keep up the good work, I hope someday that you come to California and perform your wonderful musical genus for all of us Stoners, that would be my wife, and two daughters.

Sent you a little card which was painted by myself. Hope you like it~~~~~(^_−)

RandomEasternEuropeFan on Friday, 5 April 2013

Mr Minchin, I can't really express how much I love hearing Your works. What saddens me is how it's, somehow hard, to share Your works to people I love. My girlfriend didn't quite get "If I Didn't Have You", and while I don't blame her, I had to apologize her that she was not >only< "in right place in right time" (but she was, although in good sense!). Had sex afterwards, so no biggie (why it's so hard to digest for women makes me wonder, but on the other hand - I can be either curious, or have girlfriend; You know what I chose) My friends were relatively easy target when I showed them Storm, but they just like to feel supreme over some dumb bitches (probably excuse for not having gf at that time), but that doesn't struck me as good friendchoice. You have what You can get though. Personally I love Dark Side the most, as for me it's plain awesomenesses (I can make words like that all day long, see: ness-eses-saous-ees). I'd love to see Your show, but for that I need more $$$ so not yet. But we shall meet someday! I'd invite You to Poland, but considering how one cabaret group made {pope+farts} joke recently, and because of that they were canceled from upcoming shows by organizer, that might not be the best idea yet. I like Your performance in Californication, even though I wasn't certain (whether I like it or not) after first episode. Good health (and luck) to You, there will be day when I pay for Your works, even if up to this time I watched You mainly on youtube, what possibly didn't give You a penny. Yet another fan

TobiasV on Thursday, 4 April 2013

Tim you're a genius! Love your music it's tremendous! I'd love to come to one of your shows, but I'm gonna miss the one in London for some weeks... Wouldn't it be nice if you'd come to south Germany? (Stuttgard or Munich?) please! :) Greetings from here!

I don't understand how your so incredible at the piano and yet you dont even have to practice, of course your naturally gifted, but it just makes me want to burst into tears that you have this amazing natural talent, you are very literally my idol, So basically my dream in life is to be you. that is actually my life's ambition, you must just feel so amazing every day of your life: Your amazingly talented, Hot as all fricken hell, Brilliantly articulate and i cant even how amazing you are and how in ore i am of you. I really hope you tour again in the uk soon with your piano stand up stuff. You are my idol tim, thank you for being you and doing everything you do, i really hope one day i will meet you and get to tell you this in person x

Matt on Wednesday, 3 April 2013

I have heard/read that none of your pieces have sheet music written out/notated for them (at least the piano parts that you play). I was wondering if you have tried to use a keyboard with a midi input and get a computer to notate what you play. I was also wondering when you are coming to Australia to do your own concerts/shows. Also: You are a genius. Thanks.

ChandraP on Wednesday, 3 April 2013

Tim! When are you coming back to the States? I saw your show in Wisconsin and check your website frequently to see if you have added any dates for anywhere in the US! I am on the West Coast now but would fly anywhere to see you play again! Come back!

Kaky on Tuesday, 2 April 2013

M-E-X-I-C-O. it's always sunny, beautiful beaches, awesome people and most important, we are not the US.

Mary Fitzpatrick on Tuesday, 2 April 2013

No joke. Don't love us and leave us in the USA. For those of us ignorant of your talents before we first encountered you on Californication on Showtime (then got steeped in your explosive reversal wit when Showtime aired your performance at the Royal Albert Hall with the Heritage Symphony Orchestra), we now crave more. I live in Dallas but would fly anywhere in any country, to any venue to see you perform live, doing your own clever Ginger Thing.

IM2MikeJones on Monday, 1 April 2013

Tim! WHEN are you coming to the states???? I know we suck and all, but you're part of the solution after all. I'm not suggesting you play Mississippi or anything, but come to sunny California, or Austin, or at least New York :-)
