Here’s a place you can leave random comments about stuff that you feel isn’t particularly related to the News. Maybe you just want to say hi. Maybe you want to critique a piece of my work. Maybe you want to ask me where I live and come and bring me cookies. Whatever. Stick it in the box down below.

I've just recently come across your work on youtube. You're a genius Tim, thats the best way I can describe what I've just listened to and watched. Thank you for being alive, God probably even laughed at (feet)

Jana and Eliska on Friday, 30 April 2010

We love your songs. 'They say everything Mark does but in a quarter of the words'. When are you coming to Cardiff, we're studying you in English for our music video project. We have learnt a lot; as we now always take canvas bags with us to the supermarket. Thanks for reading ;)

Emily J. Rivleau on Friday, 30 April 2010

A....ah? Tim Minchin, is it? I never heard your name before today, when someone on a fetish forum I frequent posted your song about the pope. This is the first and only song I have ever in my life heard in which cursing more than twice was actually appropriate, and you can consider me an instant fan. Thanks for reminding me that not EVERYONE is a fucking moron, even now. Thank you so very, very, very much. :.)

ABe on Friday, 30 April 2010

Tim, apparently your a comedian? I'll stop crying to "some people have it worse then I" then. If you ever feel the need to come to warrington again (Why would you?) then be sure that I will be in the crowd. You're a fucking babe, Alex.

Tim, your music is so awesome. Your playing inspires me to express myself more on the piano, whether it be seriously or comedically. Thank you so much for being you. p.s. You look a lot like a girl I've got the hots for. I'm not sure what that says about my feelings for you or my taste in women, but, I'm just saying, if it doesn't work out between me and this chick, maybe you and I could kick it some time. Call me.

Am a 15 year old pianist and am inspired by watching/listening to your stuff. Listening to Dark Side from 'Ready for This', and it's just incredible, the diversity of styles, and the solo *sits upon mouthed in awe* *laughs at the Fur Elise reference* Anyways, yeah, hope you come back to the UK soon (South-west'd be good), would love to see you, wanted to go to see you in Bristol but was double-booked =/ Come back soon so I can sit/stand and watch in awe in person =D

Jason Anderson on Monday, 26 April 2010

I would just like to thankyou for the laughter. Also just purchased a canvas bag from the site store. 'Take your canvas bag' is an amazing song and my partner and i believe in your dark side.

Garth Ranga on Monday, 26 April 2010

The fact that I found you, got called a Ranga, and ran across "Prejudice" all within a couple weeks of each other has formed a snowball that makes me hope it will grow enough to float you to the US shore. Finally comedy with art instead of d*ck and fart. Love ya, Tim.

Aimee on Monday, 26 April 2010

Hello.. Just a note to say if youre in the UK any time this year, I'm there :D We love you very much!! Thank you for making me happier than most things :) Also, I think you may be Jesus. That is all :) xx

Hey, I saw your show last year at the Melbourne comedy festival, and it was fantastic!!! My family just bought the 'So Live' and 'Are you ready for this' DVDs, we have only watched 'Are you ready for this'and we were once again very impressed. You are an amazing Pianist and I would love to be able to play like you. Please come back to Australia (NSW)so we can see you again!!!! Love your work, Katherine :)

Nicky Sutton on Thursday, 22 April 2010

Hi Tim, I found you by accident about the time I heard I was being made redundant from the laboratory where I have worked for 34 years. It has been a pretty intense couple of weeks, realising I will never work again, and am unlikely to be paid what I am owed...and finding you. Closing my eyes and listening to Angry (feet) has purged a lot of the more violent feelings from my soul, and the tears I cried listening to you have been truly cathartic. I found myself listening to you on the headphones in the supermarket singing aloud "Fuck, I love boobs though" which didn't necessarily impress middle England.

Jill Thwaites on Tuesday, 20 April 2010

I've just seen that REPRIEVE are doing a comedy night on 7 June at the Lyceum and just knew you'd be in the line-up. You never disappoint! Well done you (and Clive Stafford Smith, of course)!

Emily G on Tuesday, 20 April 2010

Hey. I've known about you for years, I say years but as a teenage girl that seems a bit difficult. I've known about you for about 3 years and have always loved your music, but recently I rediscovered your music and have fallen in love with it. I love If I Didn't Have You, Rock 'n' Roll Nerd and Fat Children. You're amazingly talented. Your lyrics are cleverly crafted and funny, your piano skills bewilder me, when I was younger I used to play you've inspired me to take it up again, and your voice is unique. A deadly combination. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with the world (P.S please come to Tasmania, Australia soon?)

Adam B on Monday, 19 April 2010

i have also only recently discovered you and your truely amazing talent. a friend heard about you, showed a few of us what he could find on youtube and all of us were gob-smacked You truely are an amazing pianist, your material is great(and if all your own ideas-even greater) you are a breath of fresh air in a taedious comedy circuit. totally funny, zany etc. A great big thumbs up lots from me and my friends and I hope you can find the time to squeeze chesterfield(derbyshire + if not there then perhaps Sheffield?) into your next UK round trip(which you are sorting out now we hope?) Bridie Reeves on Monday, 19 April 2010

Tommy on Monday, 19 April 2010

Oh I forgot to say I'm a girl =)lol if my first message confused you slightly on my sex and orientation. Tommy x

Tommy on Monday, 19 April 2010

Tim, hello I just found out about you from a forward message from friends I think you are really brilliant I think it's amazing you are flexible on the stage. One minute you're telling some jokes, the other you're playing the piano and singing. Your voice is really amazing you are so talented and you act like Johnny Depp I love the way you make faces and use your charm on the audience I've decided to buy your DVD and I hope to see you when you perform in London.

Dan Laws on Monday, 19 April 2010

Tim! I have to say, with much regret, that i've only really just discovered you! However, since doing so, you are one of the best entertainers/comedians i have seen! You're music is a form of genious unique to you, and your lyrics (especially in 'you grew on me' and 'not perfect') are something which i feel really close to... Thank you for being a legend, and i hope you continue in your amazing ways!

Marius on Sunday, 18 April 2010

Reece Thompson on Friday, 16 April 2010

Good day Tim. I recently watched 'So F**king Rock.' It was the first time I had ever seen your work and i found it incredible. If it is not too much trouble, could you please play a Gig at Norwich. Good Work

Leigh Boyle on Friday, 16 April 2010

Tim, I'm a West Australian studying in Brisbane all alone. I saw your show late last year at QPAC, not only did it fill my night with fun, joy and a laughter I haven't experienced before but it brought me closer to a home i miss dearly and filled me with some smug pride to have shared the same private schools and experiences, albeit 10 years later, as a man of your talent. I wish you and your wife continued happiness and success and hope in your times of stress you remember what your work means to a great number of people. Thank you.

Patrina on Friday, 16 April 2010

At the risk of seeming like just another fan who is in love with you and your music (which i am, but is beside the point), there is a book i think you would be interested in. It is "The Fabric of the Cosmos" by Brian Greene, and it answers questions that i have always wondered about the universe, the big bang, and the mysteries surrounding time and space. It reminds me a lot of the aspects in Richard Dawkins' "The God Delusion" that taught me fascinating facts about the world we live in. I can't add a comment on here without praising you on your talent and inspiration. Thanks for the laughs Tim

Alberto on Friday, 16 April 2010

Hey you wonderful weirdoe, grats on the Archibald Price thingie. It shows an well practiced and almost innate ability in the art of standing still, which in turn must make the photographer's job easier (other than otherwise). I guess the feeling must be something similar to what Batman felt when caught in a pose he had worked on for weeks, as opposed to being caught during the embarrassing relief of a 'personal' itch. A serious 'Grats' too to that Sam guy behind the cammera. Now, if he can keep those Archies (should I introduce an apostrophe on that 's' to pee someone off?) coming, he can secure himself a 50 grand a year income. Keep up the good work (the singing and playing bit I mean, not the standing still thing... unless it gives other people the chance to get Archibald Prices of their own, I guess). Your funnies and nutty goodness make life worth living. It's also good to know I'm not the only sarcastic bistid out there shaking my fist at the empty ether. Bear hugs from Gladstone QLD, Australia. Al PS. In all seriousness, congratulations to you and of course to Mister Leach on the Archibald, becoming part of Australia's artistic history. PPS. Put some shoes on

Lizzie Sherriff on Friday, 16 April 2010

Oh myy godd!!! Tim Minchin, you fucking legend. I love you soo much. First Time I saw one of your shows I fell in love with you. And oh dearr, your so sexy lol :) I am hoping to come see you live sometime this year if I can :) Can't wait. Your so unique and lovely and so bloody amazing :') I love you to bits, mate :) xxxx

Helz Belz on Thursday, 15 April 2010

Recently I saw your show for the first time! My fiance and I think you are out of this world, you are so talented and unique. Just got your 'are you ready for this?' dvd on my birthday which I love. Please can you release a piano book?!!.You have contributed to the fact that we are planning to come over to Australia permanently from Wales UK, thanks Tim. x

Jeremy Jones on Thursday, 15 April 2010

Tim I kind of knew you existed but then I stumbled across the Rock 'n Roll Nerd doco and.....wow. Now I've seen heaps of your stuff but I'm sorry to say that thanks to YouTube I haven't paid for any of it. Also thanks to the doco I'm now in love with your wife who is quite beautiful (or was in 2006 anyway). But could I ask you to clear something up for me? I very much enjoyed "Storm" and in particular your take on "alternative medicine". However I notice in your bio on this site that you won an award in the US for Best Alternative Comedian which concerns me greatly. What exactly is a Best Alternative Comedian and to qualify for the award were you required to prove that you weren't funny after all? I promise to pay money and come and see you live when next you tour in Melbourne and when my kids are old enough to let me out of the house without them.

Natasha on Thursday, 15 April 2010

Hi :) I have the album "Are you ready for this" on my ipod and I think it's pretty amazing. It made me laugh a lot :) I couldn't say what one was my favourite, but I do like the bit in the song "Bears don't dig on dancing" that says about the bears having a rave. That made me laugh so much! I think you're really talented :)

Dan Heywood on Saturday, 10 April 2010

I saw Tim in Bristol a few months ago, he was so good, loved it to bits! So, therefore, I have come to the conclusion that Tim is God. Which is ironic, because he hates religion :D

Madeline on Wednesday, 7 April 2010

Hi Tim I didn't know you had a cookbook?: http://community.livejournal.com/fit_comedians/48986.html

Gareth Young on Wednesday, 7 April 2010

You are the most original and gifted artist I have seen & heard in 40 years. To concentrate on any one of your talents would be a waste and deprive us of your most original style. Not a single criticism, you can do it all - and better than anyone else. Looking forward to any gig in UK ... hope you get as far as Wales ... I know talent but I am cheap - family will need a row - all fans. We laugh at the comedy but some brings tears of sentiment to our eyes as well. Never stop performing, you'll not run out of ideas with your style. many thanks for the pleasure you've brought my entire family, gareth

Sara Humphrey on Wednesday, 7 April 2010

Hey Tim, I've been writing poetry for a couple of years, some serious and some more comedy/satirical, and would love to send a couple for you too look over? Do you have a fanmail email address that I can send it to? There's one piece in particular you might like called "Love at First Type". Well even if you don't I'm looking forward to you announcing your UK tour dates, one on my balcony would be good, but if you can't manage that then maybe Brighton?xxx

Hello, I don't know if you will ever read this Tim but I hope you do. I want to say you are spectacular, clearly a new generation of comedians for teenagers. I don't concentrate much when I am watching other old comedians I find them boring but when me and my mates watch you theres nothing that can distract us we are fixated on your mad piano skills and your hilarious jokes. Your poem "Angry" (Feet) cracks me and my mates up. Laters Tim hope to see you at one of your Gigs soon.

Assuming you'll never perfom in Moscow, Russia, i hope we'll meet some place else. Damn, do I wanna see you perfom live. Whenever you feel like nothing to do, or doing smth really stupid, or having group sex, or enjoying that you are a civilized anglosaxon, or looking at a century old dead prick, or simply wasting money - consider visiting Russia. I guarantee you the best vodka and women, but I can't guarantee you bears in the streets.
