Here’s a place you can leave random comments about stuff that you feel isn’t particularly related to the News. Maybe you just want to say hi. Maybe you want to critique a piece of my work. Maybe you want to ask me where I live and come and bring me cookies. Whatever. Stick it in the box down below.

Oh, and please don’t post links or email addresses, or the spambot filter robot will take offence and refuse to publish.

Thank you for doing what you do Tim. Your gift of being able to make people laugh is wonderful. Your comedy is brutally funny, not to mention insightful, witty and fucking hilarious. You've made me smile quite a bit these past few weeks that have been quite rubbish with exams and all. Your comedy, songs and speeches have been a form of escapism for me. Cheers and thank you once again. Sophie (17, Canberra) Also, if you find yourself planning some shows in the near future, could you come to Canberra? I'm not sure if your shows are 18+, but it would be great to see you :)

You say (sing) things that I think! Love the way your brain works and spews forth insightful, intelligent, reasonable, humorous, thought provoking, rational, inspirational, lyrical, rhythmic and unpretentious schtuff. thanks for being!

I am over the teased hair bit. Glad to see you moving away from the eye liner too.. Tim, you are beautiful in every way. Let it be. There are a few of us here in the US that can't get enough of your work. Big fans and spreading the word. love Ilene

Hi Tim, Over the last couple of months I have become completely obsessed with your shows - all your clever jokes and comments on the world situation, and your amazing musicality! I love your musical style and genre, and dearly hope you never stop making music. I work as a follow spot operator at a big theatre in Denmark, and if you should ever need someone for that, I would be crazy honoured to help you out. Have you ever considered doing a world tour that would include Denmark? I really hope so. All the best of luck and happiness to you.

hi Tim. I just had to say that your song "thank you god" is one of the funniest, cleverest (note sure cleverest is word but u get my point), that I've ever heard. I first heard it years ago, when your special aired on comedy central. even then, I only caught the tail end, but made sure I remembered your name. your song reminded me of an "animainiacs" song that I memerized off of a vhs tape in 1994 "contries of the world". I can still do it to this day (I'm 32 now).I think that your quick wit, musical abilities, and relative sanity (lol) gives a voice to a lot of people who feel that they have none(if you didn't laugh you'd have to cry right?). no need to respond, just keep doing what your doing. SERIOUSLY THAT IS THE FUNNIEST SONG EVER

Hello Tim. I've watched the dvd of your performance in Royal Albert Hall with the Heritage Orchestra several times and needless to say I think it's great. I believe it to be the most inspiring performance I have laid eyes (ears) on and I'm absolutely baffled every time. I hope i can get an opportunity to attend one of your shows. Thank you immensely.

To the brilliant, sexy, funny-as-hell Tim Minchin-- I'm sure you are inundated with such requests, but if you could book a stand-up show in New York soon, it would really make my month, if not year :) Looking forward to Groundhog Day opening, too, of course!

hello Tim, I would like to say sorry now for any bad grammar or spellings as I am visually impaired, however, i have messaged you before on facebook but I wanted to message you again as it means a lot to me. ever since I was permitted to watch your performances, my dream has been to see you live. I was born with albinism and so I have always known I was different from others and I wanted to find a passionate way I could express my thoughts and feelings as well as follow to of my biggest passions, comedy, and music. Watching you grow as an artist and following your work has given me so much inspiration to express my opinions and make others smile and I only hope that one day I may be as talented as you. I may not be able to see others smiles but I can hear their laughter. I hope to go on to study musical theatre at university, but all I wished to say was thank you for being you, I hope one day I may be able to meet you in person to shake your hand and thank you face to face for giving me hope, love from September xxx

Dear Sir Mr. Timothy Monaghan Minchwester I don't know if that's your real full name but that's not important. I don't know yet how to British. This is my third week of my English language studies, so there's still a few things I haven't quite figured out. You have given me the gift of laughter and this is about returning that gift, or trying to pay in kind. I've laughed so. Hard. At your glorious musical work. My ribs hate you. So, yeah, I'm trying to say "You make me laugh!" and I hope this will be first time it won't be taken as an insult. You are an Aussie and I can't imagine what that's like. I hope it's not terminal. I myself am Finnish, but it's a treatable condition. Does your gov't try to fuck your people over at every turn like mine does? Please don't answer that. I need the hope. I don't know if this is relevant but I had a vision of you hovering by the strings in the ceiling of a church or a cathedral, playing "Flight of the Valkyrie" on a piano and raining secular literature down upon the confused churchgoers, while citing scientific facts, rudely interrupting the sermon. Very 'Apocalypse: Now'. The preacher looks super pissed, and I see you cackling like a madman, yelling "Forgive me father, for I have sinned! Remember to forgive and forget! The power of heights compels you!" Yes, I am insane. Also, I think you could pull off a killer Lars Ulrich impression. You kind of look like him (with the mascara). He's the drummer of this underground metal band called Metallica. You've probably never heard of them. Anyway, I guess I should figure out how to stop typing. Thanks for existing, you glorious ginger hobbit.

Tim, we need to meet, and it would be a pleasure to meet at a Carl Palmer (EPL Legacy) show at the Canyon Club, Agoura Hills, just off 101 northern part of Los Angeles. I'm sure you know the club. July 8th. It would be my pleasure, and you'll be surprised with the incredible music, if you haven't seen it live. Cheers! Tim (phoenix)
