Sebastian Grissmann on Monday, 31 August 2009

Hi there! My name is Sebastian and i´m from Austria! I just saw the documentary about you and i think it would be a mess if your talent is only presented to the audiences in the Uk and Australia... So why not tour the world?... (Except your duties as a father don´t allow it)... I´m sure you will be welcome wherever you go...(Except you crash into some kind of mafia deal or something... So... Good Luck (you won´t need it) and all the best (you´ll get it)!

Melissa on Monday, 31 August 2009

Hello Tim I was right at the front of one of the biggest crowds I have ever seen at Leeds festival in the alternative stage and absoloutly loved the show. I loved it so much I decided to break through a fence in hoping to meet you which I was lucky enough to do. Made my weekend. I've also got tickets to see you at the lowery and cannot wait for that either. I'll have another attempt at breaking in somewhere and hope to meet you again.

Panic is setting in, and there's still 20 days left to wait. But soon I will hit that sweet spot where the glee of leaving the US and the anticipation of getting to see you on stage again will carry me through any travel-panic I might have. x

Kari Vollmer on Tuesday, 25 August 2009

Tim, I just wanted to thank you for your song "Not Perfect". I suffer from depression and a general negative self image, and your song really imbues the sense of well being that we should all have. In the age of 'perfect people' with 'perfect lives', which few can ever attain, your song just sums up the true reality of what everyone should strive for. I daresay, it's stopped me from harming myself many times since I first initially heard it. So... I thank you Tim, for creating such beautiful songs, which in some cases can be used for suicide prevention (but I doubt you'd want to label it as such) :) Now I'd just wish you'd do a tour in Canada (Just for Laughs festival in Montreal perhaps? or.... Air Canada Centre in downtown Toronto mebbe??) Thank you again, you saved my life.

Steve on Monday, 24 August 2009

Apparently, Prof. Minchin, you have been Simpsonised. You're right up there with DJ Grothe, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Penn & Teller, PZ Myers, etc. You godless heathen, you. http://crispian-jago.blogspot.com/2009/08/simpsons-top-trumps-skeptics-edition.html Sending more love, peace and admiration from the heart of weaponised Jeebus country, Colorado Springs.

Jo Holohan on Monday, 24 August 2009

Hmmm. At 33 I am, perchance, a little to long in the tooth to be all doe-eyed and giggly about a famous rock star/comedian/actor/all round great chap. Oh f shift8 shift8 k it. I love you Tim! (well, i love the stage persona in which you choose to portray yourself in a comedic professional sense, I of course don't know you in 'real life' and that saddens me as i'm sure you are just the sort of person I would like to know. I will have to make do with the notional obscure, slightly obsessive, newly angry footed and twittered, fan status)You're fantastically talented, and i will be following your career with interest. Congratulations, by the way, on the safe delivery of your second digital camera.

Shaun on Monday, 24 August 2009

Hey Tim, can't wait for the two Lowry shows in Salford. Going to both! haha. Lookin forward to it mate.

Sarah Edwards on Monday, 24 August 2009

Tried to leave this comment on you tube but it didn't seem to like it! Here goes. I love the cadenza-like, chopin-esque ending to 'peace anthem for palestine'. What a lovely clean and crisp style of playing you have Tim - helped by the superb piano. The piece reminded me of one of my favourite Chopin waltzes (no 7 in c# min), in particular the piu mosso section. It inspired me to dig it out and have a play. Fun.

Tik Martin on Sunday, 23 August 2009

D'ya fancy being worshipped my loads of people (other than the angry-feeters, and by the way, I am one of them too) I think that you are so awesome you deserve your own religion. By the way, this is my 3rd comment on this bit :D I just thought I would tell you how amazing you are. Even though I am pretty sure you are aware that you are awesome.

So it kinda annoys me that you didn't put 'like' options on your pictures, so I'm just gonna go ahead and inform you that I clicked the imaginary 'like' option under the 'erotic jesus' picture =P See, this is why you have to get yo ass on facebook. Metaphorically, ofc. =]

A big shout out from Colorado Springs. Buckle of the Bible belt. The county that brought you Ted Haggard, Focus on the Family (James Dobson), and "Colorado for Family Values". Some of that stuff you do shore is maghty strong. There's LOTS of people here that would LOVE it (for one reason or another) if you came and visited our fair city. Maght even have us a barbecue... make some jerky... a wind sculpture. Speaking (typing) as a pianist with 12-years of training (starting at 5) and a lifetime of playing as a hobby (when I wasn't advancing the field of network epidemiology of crotch-rot), I must say you've got one hell of a massive ball of chops there. Frighteningly fun stuff. Refreshing. Gives me hope for you young whippersnappers. Looks like you're on a serious schedule there, too. Good luck on all that touring, and Cthulhu-speed.

Tim, you are my idol! I’m 14 and i love music. I play the guitar and piano, even though my passion for the piano has faded in recent years. After watching you on e4, i was inspired once again and enjoy playing like before. Thank you Tim. I’m coming to see you in birmingham in october too. Can’t wait. I’m also charmed by your high level of interlect and stong veiws on current affairs becuase i believe my views are very similar. You are just a lyrical genius. it would be nice to hear from you in a response to this, but i hear you dont get much time to, unless you being verbally abused which in that case you cant help but respond :D Cheers Tim.

Emma on Sunday, 16 August 2009

Keep up the good work, and if you ever decide to do gigs at tiny venues in the UK, I would love for you to come to Banbury

JcE on Sunday, 16 August 2009

Hey Tim, you are awesome! I wondered whether you ever considered touring with Bill Bailey? I would have thought that your two styles would be perfectly complimentary; you two would put on the best show ever!! (And I'm sure it would make you both tonnes of money lol) I wanted to tell Bill this idea also, but there's no guestbook on his website :/ All the best! :)

Tinna G. Gígja on Friday, 14 August 2009

Dear Tim. My name is Tinna and I come from a tiny island in the middle of nowhere. Sadly, my country is currently experiencing a slight economic...hiccup, with the results that our currency is practically worthless. Because of this, I cannot afford to fly to England, let alone Australia, to see one of your shows. I therefore implore you to please please oh pretty pretty please do a show in Iceland before it gets reposessed by disgruntled Britons.

I kept telling my friends to listen to your stuff, but they didn't, then one of them saw you on Bo burnham's Youtube page and now they listen to you, and give him the credit of knowing where all the good music is. What's with that?

Vanessa-Naomi White on Wednesday, 12 August 2009

Heyy Tim, i love your work and i think your; gorgeous, intelligent, witty, funy, sarcastic and EXTREMELY talented! i've been talking about you so much my Fiancée now is jealous of you and has a mard every time i say something about you (not that he doesn't think your amazing 'cus he watches "so live" nearly as much as me and still laughs! we're even having "you grew on me" as our first dance at our wedding!) All i can say is stay you... loveeee [o.O]

EmiK on Tuesday, 11 August 2009

Hi. I would just like to say that you are a fantastic comedian and pianist and your performances really do give all your hard work its worthy credit. On top of that you are a fantastic actor as well. To add my personal favourite performances (which is difficult!) I have to say: Some People Have It Worse Than Me (It's getting me through University lol); Not Perfect (because its funny but also sweet! Awww) and Dark Side (because it tore down the house when you did it as the finale). A stroke of genius and much talent. Much respect to you and best wishes to you for the future! Its a gift to be able to put a smile on someones face. Em (^.^)

Charlotte on Tuesday, 11 August 2009

Just to say that you've inspired me to believe that what you've become can be achieved and I will keep on trying... my band are gonna loathe you for the extra rehearsals :) actually there arnt many female comedians singers that i know of...

JJ on Tuesday, 11 August 2009

Another E4 Convert I'm afraid, and I am ashamed of my weak mindedness in immediately reaching for the iPhone and purchasing....PURCHASING!!!...your albumything...you've changed me I feel I have turned a corner in life, I no longer feel able to appreciate the pop-ey R'n'B i tolerated over the last few years. Will my new found interest in folky-rocky comedy music force my ostracization from the Afro-Caribbean community? I'm 6ft 4 in my Afro and feel the need to buy thin pants...with no ass...i will have no place in society...you will pay, Minchin, your uppence shall come! JJ!

Clair on Tuesday, 11 August 2009

All im going to say is: your HOT, your music ROCKS, and cant wait to see more of your stuff.

Lucy Partner on Tuesday, 11 August 2009

kerry on Monday, 10 August 2009

Hi Tim saw your show on E4 and loved it. Look forward to seeing you live if i can get tickets.

Suzanne Coleman on Monday, 10 August 2009

As did many people who have left comments on this page, my boyfriend and I saw your show on E4 the other night and, despite being somewhat sceptical when I saw the advert for the show (sorry, I judged you on the hair and eyeliner and assumed you'd be another Russel Brand, for which comparison I am eternally ashamed :-( ), we both could not stop laughing! Even when you don't open your mouth, your general demeanour, presence and strange little twitches made us giggle with delight :-) Also, being someone with the most appaling memory, your ability to remember all the lyrics to your songs had me in awe, haha.... Your Bill Bailey- esque rants on politics, religion and evolution were right down our street (again, i'm sure you're sick of the Bailey comparison too, and for that I am also sorry :-O ) and your overall musical and comedic talent is staggering.... keep it up good chap! And so I come to your website to check when you're touring and, just my luck, i'm travelling Europe for the whole two months when you're touring the bloody UK! So gutted... Please please do another tour as SOON as you've finished touring Aus!! Otherwise we'll just have to come to austrailia a bit earlier than we'd planned to, just to see your show :-P Stay crazy, SooZi

Lorna on Monday, 10 August 2009

unoblivoeous on Monday, 10 August 2009

hi how to say do you have unlabeled brain function that would seem to be a problem for the sane. does you incite come from the sanity of the insane, quip apparently there is a thinking that to have/been mentally ill actually is fucking great { i find great incite in my mania and feel fucking great but also i seem to be a minority in this ,the bit after absolute fear and killing oneself of course) she dont want to scare the sane into thinking that we actually see the real outside the box of oblivion called presane. i found your show almost a torture umm i mean toure through my last journey hitting key notes and places of my mind and tuned to the way i think and feel .fucking great stuff

Kirsty on Monday, 10 August 2009

KERI on Monday, 10 August 2009

Good day Timothy, I'd like to thank you for all your inspiration. It so happens that I see a quack too for my mean blues, and last week she was getting a little tiresome. Your excellent coping strategies sprang to mind at that moment and without hesitation, I acted. There was a little bit of a struggle but eventually, once she agreed to hold still, I could claim my prize. Her feet adorn my mantle in the most pleasing manner now and to you I am grateful. Without your superlative example I could not have conjured anything so divine. I am entirely 'wrapped'* with this method of interior design-come-therapy, and am convinced you will become famous one day! Disclaimer: Please do not send the polices 'round to my house to check out my mantle 'cause I was joking and it would make me sad. My head's actually real normal, 'part from the 'woopwoopwoop'-lobe. AAAnyways, this is no time for science speak... As for what I think of you and your show, I'm pretty much titering...3-2-1-and f-alling into the same undesirable cesspit of overpowering, indulgent female adoration for you! I'm rather partial to your looks and BY JOVE you're adorable and tremendously drole! Me AND my boyfriend both wish to cuddle you tight like a pooh-bear you're that cute! Hope to see you at the Lowry Manchester, 'break a foot'! P.S. Sorry for long writings, I don't get out much. Keri xx *I believe 'wrapped' is CRAZED Aussie lingo for 'pleased'?

Ryan on Monday, 10 August 2009

I may stalk you while you're here, but don't worry, i'll register myself as an official stalker on angry(feet) before I do :) (I won't really, it takes too much time and effort to stalk and I lack the proper dedication!) Lucy on Saturday, 8 August 2009

I reckon you should say 'hello' to Tammy, Ste, Matt, Daisy and Lucy at your show at The Lowry on Wednesday 2nd September. Or if you were feeling pushed for time or you were to forget the other names or suddenly lost the ability to speak and only managed to get "Lucy" out, I don't think anyone would really mind. White Wine in the Sun is beautiful by the way. Really beautiful.

Michelle Makin on Wednesday, 5 August 2009

Hi Tim (Or person who reads this for Tim), long time watcher/listener, first time typer...thanks for regularly making me snort wine out of my nostrils. Give my regards to Tony and let him know Nemo is still swimming aimlessly here like a tool in North Queensland.

Hi Tim. Are you at all disheartened by the appalling levels of literacy on this page? Just thought I'd ask. Maybe the smart ones don't bother to submit anyth......oh... which means of course that I'm....oops. Oh well. Looking forward to seeing you at Derby Assembly Rooms.

Liza (wickedlibrarian) on Monday, 3 August 2009

August! New page, another comment. Because I am just that pathetic, yes. Much love, Tim. See you soon!

Natalie on Monday, 3 August 2009

You are one of my favorite comedians and it makes me very sad that you don't tour in the US. Youtube videos do not satisfy me, I would love to see you live. And when I say that you are one of my favorite, you're the first one on the list :p

Matt on Monday, 3 August 2009

Hello Timothy, do you mind if i call you Timothy(shit too late now(always polite to ask though))<---Notice the theoretical correct use of algebra, although i'm sure my grammer is someway off being accurate. Anyone else noticed that most of the people that people that write on here are from the female fraternity? Why is this? Maybe they all have gingerfile tendencies or maybe they are bored at home whilst their fellas are down mines and trying to fill the gap between Jeremy Kyle and loose women. This may sound hypocritical with me writing this at 14:37 on a Monday afternoon, however I (unfortunately for some) do not fit into any of the above categories (being male, not ginger or of that sexual persuasion and am "working from home" today) but am hoping the XX to XY percentage reflected on this page carries over to the audience makeup when you reach Buxton in September. If someone has a formula that will help determine this then please let me know so I know whether I need to de-invite my wife. I would like to end of my seemingly endless ramble on a serious note.... E# thus intending to spark an on-going debate into its existance. Anyhoo, keep rocking Tim and I wish you and the family the best of luck on any road you wish to take. Post Script Notics I made it all the way through without using a fucking smiley!!! and would therefore like to offer myself for medical testing to help rid the world of this horrifying pandemic.

LIV on Sunday, 2 August 2009

HEY TIM, YOUR FUNNY SHIT!

Linda on Sunday, 2 August 2009

Hey Tim, my son and I are looking forward to seeing you in Bournmouth. My husband will not be accompanying us as I suspect he is a little jealous of the esteem in which I hold you, hopefully a sign of a healthy marriage..!I have other heroes and wonder if you could be the beautiful yet twisted love child of Victoria Wood and Iain Dury? They are brilliant too at finding impossibly funny rhymes and simple truths. Thank you for making me giggle in this horrid, wet summer. xxx

Cat on Sunday, 2 August 2009

Since discovering Tim Minchin, has anyone else tried to find 'one example in the history of the world of a single Homeopathic Practitioner who has been able to prove under reasonable experimental conditions that solutions made of infinitely tiny particles of good stuff dissolved repeatedly into relatively huge quantities of water has a consistently higher medicinal value than a similarly administered placebo' just in the hope of owning one of Tim's legs? I love Tim, and am absolutly gutted that I can't go and see him on his 'Ready for this?' tour. The nearest one to me is Bristol, and that's about a 3 hour drive away from me. Aah, well, I'll watch it on youtube... Keep up the good work, Minchin. (:
