Here’s a place you can leave random comments about stuff that you feel isn’t particularly related to the News. Maybe you just want to say hi. Maybe you want to critique a piece of my work. Maybe you want to ask me where I live and come and bring me cookies. Whatever. Stick it in the box down below.

Oh, and please don’t post links or email addresses, or the spambot filter robot will take offence and refuse to publish.

OMG! You're coming to Austin! Just ordered tickets, and will be driving in from Dallas. I could only get balcony tickets, but I'm stoked! I'll be the old woman in the balcony lip-sinking to all the songs! Oh......here's an idea: I would LOVE a T-shirt with you in a tux and barefoot, with the caption, "We're just ******* monkeys in shoes."

Just got back after a 3 hr drive from your Opera house steps show. So good - Coming back again tomorrow night if i can find tickets. Mate, You should have seen your show from where we were. You would have loved it! Thank you for coming back here and turning it on for us!

Terry Cain on Monday, 23 February 2015

Hi Tim, Had my ticket to see you in Sydney as soon as they were available. Arranged friends to come, booked flights, accommodation and despite having the tickets incorrectly named so I didn't get the confirmation email, the flights booked from one airport and return to another, the weather threaten to wash the show out...I was coming...until my son took ill in the car less than an hour from home. So here I am wishing you all the best for tonight and tomorrow night...sorry I won't be there. Break a leg mate :-)

You are probably my favorite person.

I just saw Jesus Christ Superstar, Judas a bit of a let down after seeing you in the role. I think your gig at the Heritage was fabulous, I love your song White Wine in the Sun. Thanks for your views, very refreshing and hilarious.

Kevin on Friday, 20 February 2015

Mr Minchin, you sir are a genius! I accidently came across your DVD on Netflix with the Heritage Orchestra and forever my life has been changed. You have more talent in your pinky than most of the people having their music played on the airwaves put together. You were such an incredible find. Never stop performing and writing!

SEAN LYNCH on Friday, 20 February 2015

Dear Tim , I am sorry I am late to discover you ...but what the heck , better late than never. Any way, just to say as many others have, White wine in the sun is magnificent....funny ,witty , reflective and life affirming... moving in every way. So I just wanted to write a note to thank you. It would be great to see you live in Ireland soon.

Dearest Tim, I came upon you whilst at the lowest point of my life thus far, 9 months in hospital following my last baby's birth, on SERIOUS hallucinegenic drugs, tubes everywhere, but seeing you I started to giggle. I remember months later telling my Mum about you, assuming you were part of the plethoria of phantom things I created whilist on 'special K'. I was so heartened to find that you were real and I could enjoy you at whim (that God for Youtube and Iphones!). I am so excited to be priviledged enough to watch your talents at the Opera House next Monday - nervous too, you know that 'vomit in your mounth' kind of excitment! Lead on McDuff!! Tahnks for giving my life a smattering of sparkle! Em x

Hello Tim

Liza on Saturday, 14 February 2015

Hi, Tim! I adore your music, voice, humor, philosophy. (sorry if google translated someone incorrect) You have a many fans in Russia. I know my opinion like drop in ocean. Thank you for inspiration, for your great work. If there was a button "Thank u, Tim. We love you" I would have pressed.

I'm trying to defeat my fear of flying, so I can go watch your show in Australia, but until then, when do you come to Denmark? Or Scandinavia? I'd even cross the water to our arch-enemy Sweden if you went there. Or just somewhere Europe? What about Beijing? There are trains going there, just give me 8 days heads-up.

Alex on Saturday, 7 February 2015

You make my life better. I tell at least one person about you a day. I hope you start playing the College circuit so that you can change the lives of the "youth". Alex

Hi Tim. (I apologize in advance for my verbosity, poor spelling and grammar!) I just wanted to say thank you. You have no idea how much you have helped me as of late. I have a genetic condition that causes body wide joint pain and other problems. Very basically my muscles don't hold my skeletal system together properly. Which causes excessive wear and tear on my body and as a result, degeneration. It has gotten much worse much quicker than I anticipated it would. It has been tough for me to come to grips with. I'm 38 years old chronigically but my bones are structurally much closer to that of a person in her 70s+. Some days I can't make it to the grocery store because of the pain. Dealing with this, the doctors, the insurance companies, the pharmacies, and the financial aspects...is depressing to say the very least. Between that and my mom telling me things like "You are so much more liberal than you ever have been. I'm really worried about you. You're just not thinking clearly" when discussing politics I've felt at my wits end at times. That is where you come in. After seeing your commencement speech I checked out the links on youtube. Since I was a kid I'very coped with the day to day of things with books music and comedy. Sarcasm can be both a blessing and a curse (figuratively speaking of course). In my experience anyway, those are not the tools that people usually use to get through tough times. People tell you that you're smart and then tell you that you think too much. Hu? My friends look at me like I'm the odd one because I don't laugh at the twentieth fart joke in a movie we're watching. In incorporating your critical thought and music with comedy you have made me laugh uproariously which was becoming more and more infrequent before I started watching your shows. It really and truly helps me get through day to day when I just need to laugh because otherwise all I'll be able to do is cry. I feel I owe you more than just cookies, which I probably would not be able to deliver to you since I read you're living in LA. However, I could send some to your management : )I do love baking. And I make chocolate truffles too. My Chamord truffles are particularly good if I do say so myself. So, if you're ever on my side of the US, Feel free to stop and request some truffles, cookies, or any other manner of baked goods. I owe you at least that much! PS "If I Didn't Have You" - You're wife must have either the best sense of humor ever or a high tolerance for smart-assery such as I have never encounter. Or, most likely, both. Please thank her for me as well!

Hey Tim. You were a late night can't sleep discovery for me. I encountered your joke about your wife from your are you ready tour and wanted a little more info. You are quite intriguing. I encountered this website and was pretty impressed by the autism friendly showing of Matilda. I am an early childhood educator and it is amazing to see individuals being advocates for things that are really important and not very well understood yet. So I wanted to say Bravo and you have a new fan here.

Hi Tim! (Or Tim's web promotion manager staff leader) I love your shows and songs (the ones available in Norway anyway. But probably some of the others as well. Most probably!)! Hope to see you in Norway someday soon, I can promise you at least two people coming to your show (me and a friend) - but hopefully a score or more. Several dozens anyway. Keep up your fantastic awesomness..esses, and rock the rock! Love your work! xx

Charlotte on Monday, 2 February 2015

Hey Tim, I guess you probably get this a lot but I'm a huge fan of your work and am keeping an eye out for when you're touring the UK again, to hopefully book tickets for me and my friends who are also huge fans of yours! :D keep up the great work! We had been discussing prejudice in my Catholic college in ethics and the teacher used the video of prejudice to introduce the lesson. It never gets old, I could watch it over and over again!

Hey Tim, I bought Matilda sheet music for my sax and feel in love with it so I decided to search some of your other songs and absolutely adored them so I spent all my money on iTunes buying them!

Dear Tim, I heard a rumour that you were mildly ticked off about auto-tune being used on JCS and wanted to let you know that you stole the show with your charisma, not just your singing. It's a shame you couldn't play both lead roles, I would have loved to hear your take on Gethsemane. I don't suppose you fancy doing a quick recording of it, to stick on YouTube? Nothing fancy, anytime you have a minute: in the bath or a traffic jam, whatever. People always seem to complain that modern performances aren't "rock" enough and we all know exactly how "rock" you areā€¦ So, will you do it? Please?

Rory on Sunday, 1 February 2015

Mr Minchin, This is a little bizarre, but I first watched you on Never Mind the Buzzcocks - and I thought "Oh he's cool, I'll have to keep a watch out". I then saw you on the BBC Comedy Prom - loved the intro, the compeering, and the fact that you seemed like I'd be if I was given that opportunity (the organ, etc). And Not Perfect at the end....it's struck a chord with me that no song has in a long time. I then got onto your other stuff - watched your live shows on Youtube, etc, and you're brilliant. Genuinely. And I found White Wine in the Sun and I just broke down. Thank you so much. You've given me a little bit of hope for life, which I was giving up on; and you've helped me to realise a part of myself which I didn't fully understand, about where I truly feel safe. Thank you, once again. Please come to the UK. I'd love to see you live.
