Here’s a place you can leave random comments about stuff that you feel isn’t particularly related to the News. Maybe you just want to say hi. Maybe you want to critique a piece of my work. Maybe you want to ask me where I live and come and bring me cookies. Whatever. Stick it in the box down below.

Oh, and please don’t post links or email addresses, or the spambot filter robot will take offence and refuse to publish.

Coming to you live from the US. Tim, you really are SO F*CKING ROCK!! My husband wrangled me to the couch and made me watch your DVD. I was hooked no more than ten seconds in. Too bad you aren't appearing in the US. I'd be front row and center (and I'd hog tie my mates and make them watch and enjoy the genius that is you)!

MIchael Gillies on Thursday, 21 May 2009

In the words of billy joel, "I love you just the way you are." Don't give in to the "professionals" of the entertainment industry, be yourself, your "special".

Hi Timm (: Just wanted to say that I'm REALLY looking forward to your gig in Cheltenham Town Hall - me and my friend have third row seats which is pretty cool xD Have you ever been to Cheltenham? It's the best place you will go on your tour in UK - trust. Are you playing some of your old stuff on 09 UK tour? Alice xx Ooh and PS.- will bring cookies to give you after your gig!! That’s a promise! ♥

melissa15678 on Wednesday, 20 May 2009

Just wanted to say that thanks so some special Angry-Feeters many of us were able to see the wonders of you singing 'Our love goes deeper than this' with Duke Special. I thought you were both brilliant and it was great to see a video after viewing many photos of the night from others. Hope you and your family are healthy and well. Melissa. x

Liza (wickedlibrarian) on Tuesday, 19 May 2009

Just wanted to say how I'm enjoying the fact you're getting so much U.S. love on here now. We'll welcome you with open arms. ~♥

Emily K. on Tuesday, 19 May 2009

Subsisting on YouTube videos et al. is just not enough, you know. :( I imagine that it's nothing like the live experience, plus, I've been robbed of the chance to throw things at you (by which I mean money, general goodwill, undergarments, etc.) so please come to Seattle, Washington someday! And do release your DVDs with Region 1 coding, too. You have the best expressions in the world. If I can ever manage to convey in writing what you manage with little sidewaysy glances, maybe I'll be a somewhat less useless English major than I expected to be.

Jesse on Monday, 18 May 2009

Howdy from Austin, Texas! Enjoy the Cds! Come to Texas and we will treat you the right way!

Heidi Laanes on Monday, 18 May 2009

Stian on Sunday, 17 May 2009

Hey Tim! Yesterday I gave your songs a listen for the very first time.. I love it! Keep it up, mate! Anyways, do anyone know where I can download (or get a cd with) Confessions?

Faye Clark on Sunday, 17 May 2009

Mark raises a very good point! Tim, hope you're not too disappointed by the weather, now that you're back. The grey skies and irksome drizzle can't compare to the hot beaches and warm evenings you've been enjoying, but they can sure try!

Sarah on Sunday, 17 May 2009

Tim Minchin. Where does one even begin? I have only recently become aware of your obvious talent. And by the way, bringing you cookies... Yes. That seems like an idea. =D Inflatable you, is my favourite song at the moment, and i see your coming to Swansea,(Wales) in the UK during your tour. Ah Yes, I do believe i will pay a visit! Your an extremely talented man, and i feel you have an interest in things close to my own heart. I would like to also say, that you have a wonderful mind, and whatever your doing? well it's working. This sounds like I'm kissing your ass right now. So I'll stop. =D Much Looooveeeee and... well..ahem. Stuff. (: Sarah, WALES, United Kingdom. ^___^

Faye Clark on Thursday, 14 May 2009

Can you believe it? Kajagoogoo are reforming for a UK tour! xxx

Manx-Michelle on Thursday, 14 May 2009

Hey Tim. I haven't abandoned you. So excited for Hammersmith- it's my after GCSEs reward thing. Even though I don't know what I've got yet. Even though I still haven't written most of the exams yet. Oh well. And I've been told to be a theatre critic... not sure how you do it, but if I get there I'll make sure I write a review for you. Just... please... don't write a song for me. xx

Zeb Shine on Thursday, 14 May 2009

Sen-bloody-sational Timmy ol' chap! Recently spent an evening at Perth Concert Hall with my sons (and a lot of other people obviously) experiencing the kind of inspiring performance that is rare to find! Being dedicated musical comedy lovers - it was a night to remember for a very long time......maybe even post dementia! Is it possible to be filled with pride for someone you don't know? Yes-it is! Even my ten year old speaks of you with a fondness that should be reserved for family! Oh, and the docco that screened a couple of nights later only cemented our commitment! P.S. That's one fine wifey you got there!

Emily on Thursday, 14 May 2009

saw your live show in Geelong at G-pac, you are realy amazing. My friends and I (creepy people who quote you all the time, lol.) we're so happy when we had our t-shirts and bags signed. Thankyou!!!

hi tim i know im gonna sound like a right stawlker (im not ) but everytime i hear you sing i just feel so like my insides are melting and everytime i think about you i just feel like wow! this is really weird its like im in love with you i mean you are really good looking and you a great singer but its like true love but we will never meet XxXx

Rose Tregidgo on Tuesday, 12 May 2009

Ok, so the chances of YOU actually reading this are slim, I totally get that, I'm all over it, but the fact that I know that, and am still gonna sit at my desk, deliberately and unashamedly ignoring the piles of work I have to do, and write you a wee note just to say that I think you're the best thing since frozen grapes, should show "you" that you're one snazzy human being. You're tops. Come to my house and I'll cook you something nice. I'd make you a cape too. That's important.

Kate on Monday, 11 May 2009

Just watched the RnR Nerd doco. It's sad for us Melbournians that you had to go all the way to the UK to work, but great for you & yours that you're doing so well. Congratulations!

Hey Just wanted to say thanks for adding Edinburgh to your tour. I live in the Scottish Borders so have to travel to most if not all of the big gigs and shows I go to and not many of them are in Edinburgh so thanks again. See you on 10 October :0)

mary-anne on Thursday, 7 May 2009

Hey there! I'm surely not the first to tell you that there is potential audience in many places in Germany for your genre of art. But little university-town Lüneburg on your "to-go-list" :-)

debra on Thursday, 7 May 2009

Happy 'Hug a Ginga Day". In NZ today, Friday 8 May is national Hug a Ginga Day so hugs to you Tim!!! Please spread them around to any other fabulous red haired people you meet! If you feel this is exploitive or disrescetful, be assured a court case 2 years ago found that Hug a Ginga Day was meant in the sincerest way to embrace Ginga's & have lots of fun at the same time. You'd think the legal system would have better things to do but there you go. Here's hugs then ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo xx

Georgia on Thursday, 7 May 2009

Legend! Pure Genius :)

suze on Thursday, 7 May 2009

Saw the doco on the abc (aus) and am hugely impressed both by your obvious talent (i kid you not); and by the great rock and roll swindle you have managed to pull off. Emperor's new clothes? I think it's called playing them at their own game. Well done you! Hope all continues to go well for you (both/all) into the future.

Lauren on Wednesday, 6 May 2009

Hi any chance of you coming to grimsby on your UK tour... it's kind of in the middle of nowhere but we all want to see you perform... =]

Leisha Carmichael on Wednesday, 6 May 2009

I can't get enough of your songs especially You Grew On Me :P i am apart of the Australian Girls Choir who performed Canvas Bags at Music School and it totally rocked :P Are there some basic chords I can grab for You Grew On Me? I'd love to use it for a project for my year 12 music assignment :D One last thing. You totally own :D

EMILY =] on Wednesday, 6 May 2009

I love your songs. They're funny =] I'm keeping it basic. No point in gushing on. I'm not sure what you've done in australia before,,but come to perth soon =] Or, if you wannna be extra nice come to PORT HEDLAND in western australia. Truuuust me. We have no entertainment in this town, chuck the price to $50 $100 $200 a ticket and you would still get sold out every night. Oh but not just cause we don't have any decent fun. Your good. ...should of kept it basic. -love your songs - they're funny - come to PORT HEDLAND thankksx

Paul on Monday, 4 May 2009

Hi Tim, saw your doco RnR Nerd and really appreciated you & your wife revealing the ups & downs in risking it all, to reach for a dream. I've never posted a comment to a 'Celebrity' before but If you happen to read this, WELL DONE, both on & off the stage.

Dhania on Monday, 4 May 2009

Hiya, Just wanted to tell you, I had dental surgery on Thursday afternoon to which I was allowed to bring my musical device (my phone). I chose to listen to your shows for the whole procedure managing, where possible since a periodontist had his hands in my mouth, to laugh at your wit and humour. Letting you know as an affirmation of your talent ;)

Becky Knowles on Sunday, 3 May 2009

Mr Minchin, sir, I wish to introduce myself to you as your newest fan/stalker :D With this service you get one free message per day, some of my eyelashes in the post (should you ever master cloning techniques I think you may find them useful) and a guaranteed ticket sale at any gig within 50 miles of Newcastle (hell, make it 100 - you're worth it). After all these lovely peoples' kind words I'm sure you realise how awesome and gob-smackingly gorgeous you are, but if you ever need an extra ego boost then you know who to come to ;) Keep up the good work! xxx

Kevin on Sunday, 3 May 2009

I discovered you through the fabulous Skeptics Guide to the universe and I am supremely grateful. You're work is incredible. Please come to the US soon (just the rim states though...).

Imoan on Sunday, 3 May 2009

Tim Tim TIM - I was lucky enough to see you live in Perth on Thursday. Intelligence is such an aphrodisiac but I digress, I missed the doco "Rock n Roll Nerd"... being a middle-class suburbanite with subversive tendencies- I want my cake & eat it too, so where can I get a copy??

Brian F on Sunday, 3 May 2009

I was just walking through the kitchen the other night and caught a glimpse of the ABC doco starting, then stopped and stood there to watch the whole show in absolute fascination. As a 40 year old should-have-been rock star and now family man, I salute you for living the dream and for completely taking the piss at the same time! Best of luck with it all and hope to catch your show when you're next in Sydney.

Melany Klein on Sunday, 3 May 2009

Hey Tim. Saw you for the first time in April in Melbourne & thought you were awesome!! What made your show so good is that I can relate & agree with almost everything you said. The bit about how newborns sleep is so true. And I think you're hot!! Can't wait to see your next show in Melbourne.

Erin on Sunday, 3 May 2009

Hi Tim Sorry for accosting you in the car park last night for your autograph just when you and your family thought it safe... (well my man had to do it for me cause I'm so gutless I can't even ask for change at the deli near my laundromat), Woke up with 'fuck I love b**bs though..." ringing in my head. Watched the DVD today and am I'm all of doodah now. Thanks. Erin

Funny, talented singer, a moral conscience AND you are cute - are you the perfect man Tim? My Aunty in the UK went to get her Grandson a copy of 'You so F*****g Rock' she couldn't bring herself to say the word to ask for it so she phoned her Daughter and got her to say it over the phone!!! Love ya Tim.

Watched your show last night at Perth. Like so many other individuals, I love your work. Big Fan.

Cyril on Friday, 1 May 2009

Watched "Rock n Roll Nerd" and seen snippets elsewhere. Comedic genius yes, but not just comedic.

ChB on Friday, 1 May 2009

Good morning, and I hope these days treat you well... Came to see your show wonderfully by semi-accident, as I saw you at Oxford St.'s 100 club in December, and I loved it. Looking at your bigger gigs, I kinda wanna book tickets, but part of me doesn't think anything could match that kind of small venue intimacy... Hey, probably still will book though, good Lord the fickleness. I send you JOY.

Louise on Friday, 1 May 2009

Just wondering if you and your beautiful wife were students at ACU in Ballarat?

I caught your show in Perth last night. It was absolutely fantastic! You had me in stitches the whole way through. Your new songs rocked the house down.

Amanda on Friday, 1 May 2009

Saw 'Rock n Roll Nerd' last night, it was brilliant to watch and your underlying vulnerability was very touching. The programme really ran through the entire gamut of emotions, I was quite wrung out when it was over :-) Hope you continue to go from strength to strength, can't wait to see you perform live again. p.s. Your wife is an incredible person!

Katrina on Friday, 1 May 2009

The documentary on the ABC last night was amazing, the best television I have seen all year! Two words: you ROCK!
