Just wanted to say that 'Thank You God' now solidly rests as one of my favourite songs of all time. Brilliantly written, and also a hilarious (if ironic) introduction to rational thinking and the blinkered nature of modern religious 'miracle' claims. Genius.

Well man I don't know if you have many Italian fans but now you fucking certainly have one, starting from today at 3 PM when I heard for the first time the I-love-boobs song.

Tyanah on Wednesday, 28 November 2012

Love you and your shows, just wanted to ask if you could do me a favor. Tonight on your show in london a friend of mine is going to be there. His name is patrick Walsh and hes a prat. He decided to message me at 1:30 this morning to inform me that he got tickets to your show. If you could rip him to shreds or take the mick in some way and say I asked you too i would really appreciate it. Thanks Tyanah

Hi Tim, I just watched the JCS DVD and was blown away by your performance (the whole production is amazing!) as by anything else you do. You're great :) Hope to see you ranting live, my next holidaytrip definitely goes to UK if you're gonna perform there. Greetings from Germany!

Natalia Alekseyevna on Sunday, 25 November 2012

We just saw Ready for This after a long time and were blown away again by the ease with which you put together lyrics, music, and political activism, and manage somehow not to take yourself too seriously. Absolute genius. Good luck with future projects! Can't wait to see Matilda. It's worth being chimps in shoes after all. Our son is coming back from Victoria from a student exchange programme with his first serious girlfriend for Christmas (he is Brit/Croat and she is French) and we will definitely watch you together. Keep your warmth and intelligence and please don't become blase. There is so much to fight for.

You're amazing, please come to Toronto, Toronto needs you!

Zillah on Saturday, 24 November 2012

Saw the matinee of Matilda today and it was absolutely fabulous! You are a very talented chap. Loved the fact that you were there watching it too!

Veronika on Saturday, 24 November 2012

Hollie on Friday, 23 November 2012

Come to Toronto damn it!!!

Olga on Thursday, 22 November 2012

Hi Tim, I just want to say that White Wine In The Sun is the most beautiful Christmas song ever. This year for the first time I´m not spending Christmas with my family and now I´m crying like a baby while listening this song. Thank You :-).

Cindy on Thursday, 22 November 2012

Saw Tim on a Just for Laughs rerun over the weekend (Friday night) -- loved it -- watched it on time-shifting as well, so got to see him twice in one night. Trying to convert my friends into Tim Minchin fans.

Greeting from Brazil! I hope some day you come visit us!

James Henderson on Tuesday, 20 November 2012

Tim, I have learnt many of your songs both playing and singing and i have also written songs in your style and people are noticing this. And I am still yet to see you live. Possibly a tourdate in Newcastle or even better the small town of bishop Auckland as London and Sydney are a bit too far to travel. As you are my idol please could you come to one of those places or maybe even just a signed photo this way. Thanks a lot for your music and I hope you take notice of the little people........ (I mean me there by the way).

Hello. I'm writting this mindless comment from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Maybe I'm not late (in the timeline of your carrer) to excite you with that little fact: your amazing work arrived in this spanish-speaking country and it's making people stand in awe. I know I will never see you live -there is no chance you come here (mainly due to the spanish-speaking deal I just mentioned), and I will never travel to the wonderful places you play in. Art is a binary system in which the two parts must be alike. The complexity of the author and the spectator must be the same. If the author is more complex, the spectator cannot understand his work; if he is simpler, the spectator gets bored, or offended. This ramblings (that I'm shamelessly stealing from a philosophy book) are to say that your songs are there to accompany those complex minds that feel alone -alone in a world made for simple minds. Thank you.

Marie on Saturday, 17 November 2012

Yo, Tim! Hi. Just wanted to say that you're my idol, pretty much, and although I very unfortunately wont be able to see any of your shows live the next couple years (I'm 15 and am currently pretty stuck in Denmark) I greatly admire you and all your songs. I also just pre-ordered 'Jesus Christ - Super Star' (the version with you) and am looking forward to watching it. P.S. This comment seems extremely dull and really doesn't compare to my actual admiration for you. I wish I could meet you and hug you and be creepy and fan-girl-ish. You rule. Peace out! (That's right, I'm a cool kid, that's the kind of cool stuff I say. Yeah.)

Katrina on Thursday, 15 November 2012

Congratulations on your stunning performance of Judas in JCS. I watched it at Innaloo (As a former resident of Perth you'll be aware that Innaloo is a real suburb, albeit a strangely named one!) The entire production was extraordinary but your performance was a stand-out. I have followed your career from the early days and was lucky enough to have front row tickets to one of your concerts with WASO. Hopefully one day you will bring Matilda to Australia..

Jared on Thursday, 15 November 2012

A quick question: Is there anything in the works - or plans - for a stop in America next year? I've been looking online, but can't seem to find anything.

Fiona on Thursday, 15 November 2012

Really great to see your acting chops in JCS (film version in Melbourne) as well belting out the classic tunes and changing the melodies ever so slightly to add your take on them. Powerful performance and I hope you can one day perform it in Australia...here's hoping!

Liz on Wednesday, 14 November 2012

Hi Tim, we went and saw JCSS yesterday and just LOVED it, particularly because you were so awesome as Judas. We never realised you had such a fabulous voice, even though we have all your DVD's, CD's and have been lucky enough to be at a number of live performances. I just love the crowd that turns up to your gigs - sitting beside us was a group of uni students all wearing "I am so ****ing Rock" T-shirts, while in front of them were a couple of very enthusiastic 'oldies'. In fact the age range must have gone from 15 to 80+ - and all equally enthralled. What other entertainer could claim that! It was such a buzz to see JCSS and we are still re-living the memory. Thanks a million!

A. on Tuesday, 13 November 2012

(oh just to clarify: disappointing is the fact I found just 1 song not the song itself )

A. on Tuesday, 13 November 2012

just because today opened Google Play here in Italy and you're my first purchase ..ok not actually *you*, just "drowned" the only song I could find there.. (a bit disappointing if I may say so :)

Sandra on Tuesday, 13 November 2012

I've just got home from watching the film version of JCS at the Rivoli in Camberwell. Tim you were absolutely awesome and riveting as Judas; the Jesus dude wasn't too bad either. I'm sure the Brits love their Moyles (the Tony Barber thing was amusing) and Hanson and they were ok, but my heart stays with Angry Anderson who positively dripped sarcasm as Herod & John Waters was a shit hot Pilate in the Aussie in-the-round production. I absolutely loved the 2012 devices like twitter & voting fraud / not fraud to make JCS work for young folks in 2012; but I digress. Tim you were nothing short of sensational, but being an astute judge you probably know that. I'd go to Angry Feet but I'm just not a joiner of groups. Perhaps I could form a splinter group for your fans who aren't joiners of things - I always refuse loyalty card programs in shops too. Love ya work, always have & always will (although you could be overdoing the UK talk show scene a tad)

Sarah on Tuesday, 13 November 2012

Hello darlin', it's your favourite ASO cellist here, can hardly speak after seeing a screening of JCS in Adelaide today, know every note and word from being brought up on the original UK cast recording but this production will surely become the new benchmark. Bravo and congratulations to you, the brilliant cast, designers and those amazing musos up on the scaffolding! Love you lots, please come home so we can play together again sooooooon xxx

Can I just say that I kick myself every time Tim's tour(s) with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra are mentioned because I never found myself there to witness the splendour. All I can do is wait with baited breath for Tim's appearance with the theatre company...next year ugh so far away. That's ok, something to get me through my exams! Thankyou for introducing me to productions that I would have otherwise remained ignorant to, and been all the poorer for it. :)

Lyria on Tuesday, 13 November 2012

40 years ago I snuck away from school to watch the live Oz version of JCS in the Capitol Theatre, not once but 4 times, I loved it so much. It was a formative experience for me, and has lurked there in an undisturbed corner of my memory for many years. Today as a Tim-fan, I travelled 200km to see JCS the movie in Sydney. It was mind-blowing! I was sitting in the cinema with tears streaming down my face.... What a phenomenal performance from Tim as Judas. Better than anything I've seen. Thank you and congrats to everyone involved. Can't wait to get the DVD. (Tried to post on the News page but it wouldn't let me, not sure why. Hope this gets through.)

Hi Tim, we don't take part in twitter, so unfortunately I couldn't send you a comment on that forum, but I want to thank you for speaking up re the 'poppy incident'. My grandfather was wounded on the Somme, dying shortly after his return to Australia. My father was a Squadron Leader in WWII (3 tours/ 6 years of voluntary service) and, while I am disturbed by the motives behind the burning of the poppy, I agree totally that freedom of speech is precious and is EXACTLY what those men fought and died (or gave their youth) for. My father was very vocal on this matter and also very circumspect about the complexities of war from so many angles. He would have congratulated you on being brave enough to defend the democracy he fought for and held so dear. One man's stupid act does not tarnish the sacrifice of others - he didn't burn a person, just a thing. Otherwise where does this 'censorship' end? Bravo Tim!

Justin on Monday, 12 November 2012

I'd love to know where you live Tim, and I'll be happy to send you cookies! Thanks for being the wonderful, enthusiastic musician you are! I've always enjoyed your work!

Anthony Friend on Sunday, 11 November 2012

Hey Tim you should do another America tour. I would love to see you live.

Liz in Oz on Sunday, 11 November 2012

Thanks so much Tim for your mesmerising performance in JC Superstar. We saw the movie this afternoon in Sydney (Chatswood) and were just enthralled. I could barely watch when Judas hanged himself. But everyone there today must have been followers of your website because the advertising of the film was virtually non-existent. What a real shame! While we feel privileged to have been able to see it, we know you have a huge fan base here and are sure there will be many who have missed it simply because they didn't know it was showing. But here's to you anyway, you talented, gorgeous, fabulous creature!

Ruth on Sunday, 11 November 2012

Genius, enough said.

kb on Saturday, 10 November 2012

Oh, yeah, and bought fabulous Tim T shirt from Cafepress.com recently. Shows sillouettes of Tony evolving to Tim. Can't tell you how much I love wearing it to work to irritate the local closet creationist.

kb on Saturday, 10 November 2012

Just been to see the JC Superstar film over at Knox Shoppo. Me, teen son and about 2 dozen confused pensioners who thought they were going to see a nice film about Jesus. Boy, what a production it was. Tim's role is the standout. Just fab. Bugger that we couldn't see it live. Can't wait for the DVD. Loving the dreads and tatts, though, Tim.

Laura on Saturday, 10 November 2012

Please come to Toronto!!

Andrea on Friday, 9 November 2012

Hi Tim - when will you perform next in Melbourne?

Nadia Adams (CaptainClaymore) on Monday, 5 November 2012

Hey Tim, I just wanted a chance to say that I absolutely LOVE your work. You are truly fabulous! I have dreamed of going to a concert of yours one day! Perhaps one day you shall venture back to the uk? I may even bring a bag of cookies to the concert?? :P From a very small insignificant piece of carbon:)

Beth on Sunday, 4 November 2012

You always amaze me, your talent is outstanding and your such a genuine performer. I have seen you in York doing your own music and as Judas in Sheffield, what an amazing contrast. You are such a huge inspiration to me, your work is funny but painfully true and close to the heart. I admire your talent and hope to be able to grow into a performer just like you.

Debbie on Friday, 2 November 2012

I have nothing original or compelling to say.........Just had to say you were absolutely mesmorising as Judas ( Nottingham 19th Oct )and I think you are a very talented man!! I just watched a youtube clip of you on "The One Show" from May when you talked about Matilda and also your upcoming role as Judas, you are so humble and thankful and realistic. I admire you a great deal and as my mum would say "that fella you go on about ?,Tim Munchin (sic) he's a bit of a genius isn't he?"
