Here’s a place you can leave random comments about stuff that you feel isn’t particularly related to the News. Maybe you just want to say hi. Maybe you want to critique a piece of my work. Maybe you want to ask me where I live and come and bring me cookies. Whatever. Stick it in the box down below.

Oh, and please don’t post links or email addresses, or the spambot filter robot will take offence and refuse to publish.

Dear Tim, My other half, Graham and I saw you randomly on BBC Three one night earlier this year while we were living in Ireland..'Not Perfect' is my favourite song/experience of 2009. It's been a year of many deaths both in the media and showbiz but also within friends of the family and watching your show really lifted our spirits. We're preparing to welcome in the New Year and watching you on You Tube is part of that. Graham tried to get hold of your DVD in HMV for me for Xmas but they didn't have it stocked! Speechless. You are brilliant and beautiful, thank you for sharing your intelligence and humour...lotsalove to you and your family, Alex

Mr. Minchin, There are spaces left in the matrix of people cookie-cutter shaped by a brownian motion into accepted roles. We think we can navigate this human spectrum, noting familar archetypes in the mix. I am Very Surprised that in lieu of a brownian matrix hole, theres a Tim Minchin. It seems both incredible and incredible that this is so. My wife and I love what we've seen by you thusfar. So why not, not eat pigs, together? --A Hamilton (Quebec, Canada)

Hi Tim, I am a huge fan of your songs and stuff. They are really funny. I'm sure most of the views on youtube are me and my mates coz i told them all about your stuff. It's awesome. Come to Newcastle next year please!!

Hello Tim. I just discovered your music whilst listening to Jonathan Ross on BBC Radio 2 a couple of weeks ago - since then I haven't stopped listening. Your piano playing is amazing and it's inspired me to get practising again (even though my piano is old). I love the piano and it's great to hear it in your songs. If only one day I could be as good! Please come back to Sheffield - I hadn't heard of you when you were there in October, but I have now, so you need to come back!

Charlie on Thursday, 31 December 2009

Hey Tim! My lovely Mum bought me your 'So F*cking Rock' DVD for Christmas and I loved it! I saw you in Cambridge in September and I have to say that I fell in love with your work! You're so talented and you think of really funny things to sing and talk about. Please please come back to Cambridge! I'll definitely come and see you again. Lots of love! x

Good Evening, My family and I bumped into you outside Canberra airport. I am thankful that you were so obliging! I didn’t have anything to say to you, but I have since thought of a few things: At the show I went to, I was constantly cringing at an overly keen, middle-aged, male fan sitting in front of me. He initiated several unnecessary rounds of applause and swayed his arms in the air to numerous songs. So, please be cautious when eating cookies from fans. Near the beginning of your show, you were asking two twenty year olds about their sex lives. I think they were slow to respond, so you said something to the effect of, ‘You can tell me, forget that I’m old’. This really threw me off. You were acting so young on stage that I forgot you were ‘old’. So, perhaps avoid mentioning age. I am curious as to what your Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is, please? Apparently, I am INTJ. Wow. Many people’s posts just ask you to do things and perform in places. Hmm. Thank you. All the best.

Hey Tim. Heard David Tennant extolling your virtues on the BBC Desert Island Discs. You really have made an impression on the world, well done Mr Minchin!

Henni on Monday, 28 December 2009

I got to know your work through my studies - "storm" and "when you open your mind too much your brain will fall out" were really fitting.. thanks for that. greetz ps: Is there any chance you will ever perform in the Netherlands or Germany (or somewhere nearby..) ?

Lia on Monday, 28 December 2009

Hi Tim, I asked my husband to rent a comedy dvd 2 weeks ago, and he came home with "Are you ready for this?". This was the first time we had heard any of your work, and believe me when I say, we are both COMPLETELY HOOKED. You are so entertaining, it's refreshing to see something different in the world of comedy. Please come back to New Zealand really soon. We'll be the ones cheering, laughing and singing the loudest - you will know it's us because my husband is tone-deaf. :) (Just kidding!) P.S. Took our canvas bags to the supermarket today, and thought of you!

I just discovered your Christmas song yesterday and have listened to it probably 2 dozen times since then. It is so beautiful and meaningful. Today I purchased your album from ITunes and I have sent a link to "White Wine in the Sun" to lots of people and have had positive feedback from them. Love your work - hope to see you perform live sometime. Please come to Canada.

Hello Tim! You have inspired me to draw again, after being unmotivated for the past year and nearly failing my specialized art courses. You're a true hero! Now on a totally different note, I was wondering what your middle name is. I don't know why. =D Well, have a nice day!

Will on Saturday, 26 December 2009

Hey Tim, Im 12 and live in Australia. Im a big fan of your work and just wanted to say that your awesome.

Gary, the dangerous infidel on Saturday, 26 December 2009

Not many artists can take a listener on a round trip from laughter to a lumpy throat (and alleged eye leakage) and back again in such a short time span. "White Wine in the Sun" successfully captures the best of what family can mean, and I'm sure that your "jet-lagged infant daughter" will be fondly listening to this song for many, many years. I could listen a couple of dozen more times myself just for your chord progressions alone -- they are truly inspired. Cheers, and thanks for a great song.

Susan MacVittie on Saturday, 26 December 2009

Thank you for such a great seasonal song. Pllllease come to Vancouver, BC, Canada!! I will travel with friends from Vancouver Island to see you play. That's right, plan your touring schedule around me and my friends...you'll see, it'll work out. The Orpheum Theater is beautiful venue that has great acoustics...http://vancouver.ca/commsvcs/cultural/theatres/orpheum/index.htm All the best for 2010 to whoever reads this

Chuck Field on Saturday, 26 December 2009

I am a U.S. citizen living in the deep south (Conservative-Right, Bible Belt Country) who recently discovered your work. I do NOT believe in Creationism and if I must be labeled, I'm an atheist. One of the few in this country, I guess... It hurts to take the bashing from you, thinking I feel the same as you, by what I hear in your work. I would take the beating willingly though, if I thought it would wake many of my closed minded countryman to a shred of truth. I love what you are doing and please keep it up. You do have fans in the States...

Ben Mckay on Friday, 25 December 2009

We need you in Western Canada!!! Cannot wait to see you live.

MJ and Kurt Riemann on Tuesday, 22 December 2009

We've just 'discovered' you, through John Mayer's RT on Twitter, and as I said there, I feel that Christmas has come early. Each song is a delicious gift! "White Wine In The Sun" is very touching. So there you have it: two burgeoning new fans, a Canadian married to an Alaskan (he's more Alaskan than American in nature). We cordially invite you to visit and record. cheers, Mary Jane (yes, I was unintentionally named after weed).

Tom Arnold on Monday, 21 December 2009

Tim you are a Comedy God! I feel that your blend of intelligence and comedic value, as well as your sublime musical talent, makes you one of the best living comedians of this day and age! You really are So F**king Rock! haha Keep up the good work dude! :) and hope to see a new album soon and a... UK TOUR!!!

Hannah on Monday, 21 December 2009

Hey Tim, was wondering if any of your songs will be coming to Spotify any time soon? I love listening to your music and I think it would be great way of getting a bigger fan base. Would love to see you on there and doing another Uk tour soon. Have a good Christmas

Joanne Lee Dennis on Sunday, 20 December 2009

Tim what can I say? You are a creative, intelligent, funny, sexy man and in your own words "so fucking rock" I sooo need tickets for your show in Sydney, but cant load the page (stupid computer) Saw a doc on you a while back on abc. You have a beautiful family, you have it all baby live it up!

Dear Mr, Minchin, I am a conservative Roman Catholic and a 4th degree Knight of Columbus. I was pointed at "White Wine In The Sun" by an old friend, and it is the most moving Christmas song I've heard in 20 years. Happy Christmas. -RLM

Barb on Saturday, 19 December 2009

Come to the US!!!!

Arran Walker on Friday, 18 December 2009

I would gladly make you a batch (or three) of cookies anytime, but I live in Austin, TX... so either you must come here, or I must find a way to ship homemade cookies across the pond without them letting them get too soggy. I love sharing clips of your live perfomances on Facebook, and my parents have also become big fans. "Storm" is the most brilliant beat-style poem I have ever heard. When are you coming to TX? What are your favorite cookies?

Rachael-Jean on Friday, 18 December 2009

Thought you should know that your music is really influencing people. For example; whenever me and my mum goes shopping now and gets asked if she wants a bag, She hesitates and says no. We walk away and she goes "Tims voice in my head, i just couldnt say yes to a plastic bag!" Haha. Yay for canvas bags xo

Finni on Friday, 18 December 2009

Hi Tim... nice touch giving half the proceeds of new White Wine in the Sun single to Autism Research... we definitely approve and will buy it just for that reason. Having been to five of your gigs so far, when I brought my son along to your last gig in Southampton when he was back home from uni, I wasn't sure how he would react to your Asperger comments (he has Aspergers... I'm pretty sure it was as a result of the MMR jab) but he handled it well given the hilarious circumstances, and I'm sure he will approve of your gesture too! Have a wonderful Christmas (it is snowing here tonight on the Island of Portsmouth!) in the Sun, and looking forward to seeing you on your next tour... hope it won't be too long to wait :) Shame you never made it to the cottages in Greece... we've just sold them, but the offer still stands for B&B in Pompey or chalet in Val D'Isere! Thanks for all the mirth you continue to bring and really looking forward to Maltilda!!!

Brahd and Alisahn on Friday, 18 December 2009

Hi Tim. The Perth concert on Wednesday was fantastic. Unfortunately the gay american in front of us begged to differ and left at the interval displaying significant outrage. We kid you not! He musn't have got the irony. You'll be happy to know whilst walking back to the car afterwards, we commented to each other "He's so deep." Brilliant.

Catriona on Thursday, 17 December 2009

When you come back to Britain, please come back to the North East of England :) preferably Durham. We do love you here :)

Michael Forster on Thursday, 17 December 2009

I'm normally not the kind to send fan mail. But your ability transcends societal norms: I have yet to meet anyone who has not been bowled over by your performance. I am so indescribably happy to have seen you at Wembley this year, and I hope that we will see more in the same light. Tim Minchin: from the deepest and darkest to the most ebullient and rejoiceful within one song - that's something that no other performer has ever given me. Please don't stop.

Katie on Wednesday, 16 December 2009

Hi Tim :) I unfortunately missed your Canberra shows :'( However I just saw the Are You Ready For This? dvd, and it was fantastic! I particularly wanted to saya I really love the way you end shows - So Rock with Not Perfect and Are You Ready For This? with White Wine. Most rock shows or comedy shows go out with something loud or full of really big laughs. Ending your shows with not so comedic more heart-warm-ee type songs leaves it on a really nice note. Also, your beat poems are really groovy. Also also, I make really astoundingly good cookies if you were in fact giving out your address and likely to return to Canberra should I send you some. Have a great xmas =) (oh! sorry to rant, but do you see yourself ever making sheet music for that of your music that isn't intense improv and making it available (for a price of some sort) to those of your fans who dont have the patience to work out more than the chords?)

Lynne on Wednesday, 16 December 2009

Sitting quietly at home, trawling youtube, listen to White Wine in the Sun, love it, think - would love to see Tim Minchin live, I'll check to see if he is touring anytime soon - perhaps visiting Perth? Yes he is - to-bloody-night! Thwarted, and cruelly teased.

Dylan on Wednesday, 16 December 2009

I'd just like to thank you for writing "Storm." I've met way too many damned people like that, and you've saved me from having to articulate a rant about them. keep fighting the good fight.

Tish on Wednesday, 16 December 2009

My family and I are huge fans! Please Please Please come to the United States and grace us with one of your performances here in the South. Your choice...Atlanta, GA or Birmingham, AL or Nashville, TN or anywhere in between...maybe even right here in Auburn, AL at our lovely University. We absolutely LOVE White Wine in the Sun, along with many of your other songs and poems! It's our new favorite Christmas song!

Benjamin on Monday, 14 December 2009

Hey Tim, I have a bonus to things I shall complete before my demise. I require the signature of yourself, Eddie Izzard and Derren Brown. I have a minor nerv defect preventing me from ever mastering the piano or any slight of hand and my voice simply isn't all that nice, deep in a weird way is the answer I get when I ask. So the three best people of their kind who have the qualities I have the highest facination in but I never can achieve myself. I hope I will one day be able to see you on stage just like I will hopefully see Eddie this saturday and perhaps get an autograph. Cheers Tim and keep inventing new lyrics and tunes, you owe it to those who can't.

Yelo on Monday, 14 December 2009

Loving Ur work evan my dad(68) loves it

David on Monday, 14 December 2009

Dearest Tim, Thanks so much for returning to Adelaide this December. We were due to see you last March but we lost Mum that week and couldn't bring ourselves to go even though we knew she would have wanted us to. At the very least she would have wanted us to apologise for the empty seats. She appreciated intelligent humour and whilst you may have been a little too irreverent for her tastes, she would have adored your musical genious. So even though this year we will have our white wine in the sun without her, we now have a fantastic song to remember her with.

Chris on Monday, 14 December 2009

Well Howdy from Houston, Texas just discovered Tim this weekend through random comedy internet searching. I am now the proud owner of everything Itunes and youtube had to offer. I am hoping to catch a show next time i pop into the U.K. Keep up the great work!!!

Shauna Jeanette on Sunday, 13 December 2009

Come back to England Timothy! Just read on wikipedia about you currently co-writing a musical version of Matilda, I hope that will be hitting England late 2010 when it comes out. I also just found a really funny picture of you from when you were in "Timmy the Dog" and you have no hair, I don't think you should ever cut your lovely ginger locks off. See you soon, keep up the good work, you never cease to amaze me! x

Paul on Sunday, 13 December 2009

Hey tim, my friend introduced me to your work about a year ago and no one we knew had even heard of you, its been nice to watch you flourish and grow into somewhat a messed up blooming flower that can make you p**s your self with laughter in the space of a year you've become quite the idol up in little newcastle upon tyne england....come back please...i missed your gig....i must get a hug or something....so if you do come back look for the tall kid with long stupid hair i may shout out....if i do and you dont want you'll get security to kick my ass.....love you tim keep writing

Marie Fitzgibbon on Sunday, 13 December 2009

Hi, I was a middle-aged-neo-fan at a recent Brisbane performanc, having just weeks before "discovered" Tim on early morning insomniac TV. Fell in love. Told him so after the concert. He responded with the appropriate "stalker alert" grimace of the true entertainment professional. Don't you hate it when your appreciation of creative genius and the cherished gift of laughter it provokes, makes the object of your admiration a little twitchy? It was the oh so tight and seductive hand on arse print jeans...the maths...the music....the word sorcery...the science...the whole hip & groovy package.....my much cogitated compliments - suddenly diminished by temporary and clearly inappropriate, but completely deflected & unrequited blithering lust. Can't help but be thrilled by how very clever, talented & funny the human race can be at it's best. Bravo you Tim Minchin!!! Good to be alive at the same time you are so lively, lovable, surprising and eloquent, and I got to see you for real even tho I live in Brisbane!!! The night was a real highlight of this year for me, so Thank you! Thank you!

Robert Lloyd on Sunday, 13 December 2009

my friend alex showed me your work last year, im a BIG fan, getting all your cds and was realy gutted when there werent any tickts left for your gig. i recently got al my friends into your work, and theyre all getting your dvds and cds for christmas. me and a friend even worked out the guitar and bass riffs to "so rock" just from sound and the miming, not easy! youre inspiring to all and thats why we love you from bob

StephHS on Sunday, 13 December 2009

Hey Tim, brilliant show Friday night in Adelaide. Loved it more than last time in March. Was so glad to finally hear If You Really Loved Me live, a nice little surprise. And White Wine in the Sun was as beautiful as ever. One small grouch though... why didn't you come out to sign all my wonderful new merch? I was so looking forward to getting a photo this time too. Did we scare you off? Lol. Steph xx

Thomasina on Sunday, 13 December 2009

Tim , booked my tickets to come and see you in sydney in Feburary, I don't care how much the flight cost to get us down there, but I bought the tickets for my Dad and I, he thinks your ace, and I reckon we shall have a mad time! Your awsome, keep it up. :) Inspired me to try and learn piano ! haha

Casale on Sunday, 13 December 2009

Saw Tim live last night in Auckland. Astoundingly good. He has truly forged his own brand of comedy. I can't imagine how he could improve further. Groundbreaking. Ten on ten.

Jemma on Saturday, 12 December 2009

Hey, Tim. I've been a huge fan of yours since I saw you on the Secret Policeman's Ball, how many years ago was it? 'So F**cking Rock Live' literally lived in my DVD player for months after that! I'm watching it now actually...and getting looks from the people I live with because I’m laughing so loudly. I saw you in Edinburgh this past October--best birthday present ever. Laugh-out-loud comedy and fantastic music--my two favourite things. I now find myself singing, and listening to, your songs everyday. Learning the music is harder, because you do it so well! 'Rock and Roll Nerd' used to be my favourite song by you, but when I heard ‘White Wine In The Sun’ it became a draw. It is such a beautiful song. It will be my Christmas number 1. That was a really long message just to say love what you do, and hope you come back to Edinburgh, or Glasgow, soon! Hope you enjoy your Christmas (in the sun?). P.S. Love the monologue on the ‘Mit Nihcnim Evil 9002’ t-shirt.

Rosemaryy on Saturday, 12 December 2009

Hi Tim :] I first encountered you at the festival in Reading this year after being told you were really quite good by one of my friends, and I just want to thank you for making the trip out there that day. Since then, I've found that your music always seems to put a good perspective on a bad day, particularly days where I'm away from my boyfriend. He lives up in Aberdeen and we have a shared love of 'Confessions' :] I know you've just finished touring here and we should probably have some sympathy for you seeing as you have a daughter now, but please, please please come back to Reading/London area or Aberdeen soon. It would mean the absolute world to my boyfriend and I if we got to see you together. Keep it heavy!

Russ on Saturday, 12 December 2009

Hi Tim: When are you coming to western canada such as Alberta? I saw you in montreal and almost died laughing. Come visit us real soon.

Rexy on Saturday, 12 December 2009

I saw the Adelaide gig last night at Thebby Theatre! So so so funny! I had tears rolling down my face most of the night, even though I knew all of the punchlines because I saw the same show back in March at Her Majesty's Theatre.

John McCollor Pataskala, Ohio USA on Saturday, 12 December 2009

Tim I have just recently come across your stuff and absofuckinlutely love it! I reverence you as a philosopher of our age and a musician/singer-songwriter par eccellance.(sp?) I dearly hope that someday you will come to do a US tour. If you come anywhere close to Ohio, I will drag as many of my friends to come see you. Thank you for being you and don't let the bastards get you down... p.s. I have NEVER written to an artist or musician before.

Hi Tim, My 16yr old son told me about you earlier this year, I saw your gig in Norwich, watched and listened to everthing you've done, man, you are a bone fide genius, now my day wouldn't be right if I didn't play you on my journey to work. Keep it going. Merry Christmas to you and yours and come back soon, I'll be there. "TIM IS GOD"

Heidi on Friday, 11 December 2009

All I want for x-mas is you!! to promise to come to Scandinavia, preferably Norway. You do have a lot of fans here, and it's a bit expensive to fly half way around the world to see you. ( Yes, I know that you played in London not too long ago, which isn't that far away, but I was trying to make a point...) Please come =) we have snow!!

Michaela on Friday, 11 December 2009

Hi Tim. Saw you this time last week at the Palais, Melbourne. Such a great show, you dealt really well with a rowdy audience member, had a fantastic night. Every time I hear White Wine in the Sun I cry... I gave birth to my (now 5 year old) son overseas in Dublin, with no family with me. A couple of years ago I brought my son and partner to Melbourne to enjoy that sun and white wine first hand. It was always hard to be away from family when I was overseas but I really appreciate home so much more now. You rock. Enjoy your family. xx

Beth on Friday, 11 December 2009

Tim, I purchased 'Ready for This?' off of Itunes last night. Had a busy evening and didn't get around to listening to the entire album until today at work. 'White Wine in the Sun' had me choked up at my desk and hitting repeat at least 6 times. Wow... As an athiest father to a 4 month old, blue-eyed daughter heading into her first Christmas, 'WWitS' resonated with me in a way I can't fully express. We'll be traveling 8 hours to see my in-laws in a few weeks and living out the last verse almost line for line. Thank you. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Stacey on Wednesday, 9 December 2009

Hey, me and my friends think you are fantastic and wonder when you will be doing gigs in the uk, we would really love to come and see you live! Please do a Uk tour soon. :)

Greg on Wednesday, 9 December 2009

Hey would love to see you live hope you come to birmingham

Karolina on Wednesday, 9 December 2009

Tim! you are genius! I know that probably you will never come on tour to Poland, there are some obvious reasons firstly : I was looking for your DVD everywhere in Warsaw, but it's impossible to find it here... you are not as well known as in UK for example secondly : most people here don't understand a single word in english (or even in polish sometimes by the way...) the rest went to England or Ireland but I just want you to know that you have some fans out here :D "Drowned" is my favourite song, I just can't stop singin it in my head. I hope that one time I will be able to see you live in Australia or UK :]

Lanna D on Tuesday, 8 December 2009

If I didn't have you... no-one else would do! I want to thank you for making me smile! Awesome show in Brisbane. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOBS!

Darren (ginger in black) Mackenzie on Tuesday, 8 December 2009

Hey Tim, thank you for that absolutely fantastic show on Sunday night in Canberra. My wife and I were thoroughly entertained. Your show presented a milestone for us: The first night out without our little, er, miracle. P.S. You are not the only confessed boob lover. Be strong my jubly loving comrade!

Luis on Tuesday, 8 December 2009

I just saw the your opening show in Canberra. WOW! I can't believe I got to hug and kiss you! truly brilliant show - and nice piano! Do you bring that Steinway around with you? Thankyou sooo much. Awesome show.

Kowhai on Tuesday, 8 December 2009

Hi there. I first got to hear about you from the Bad Science forum(they're big fans), watched Rock & Roll Nerd last night and was just reading your Wiki page , when I noticed that you have a little boy called Caspar. So do we & spelt exactly that way - (he's 2.5). It's a very uncommon name and I was terribly pleased in a ridiculous way that you and your good woman liked the name too. Best wishes for you and your family in the future - it is very well deserved success!

Michaela on Tuesday, 8 December 2009

Hi Tim, Your my new found hero. Hurry up and do a UK tour! Getting your DVD for Crimbo :D Love Michaela (London)

Leonie on Tuesday, 8 December 2009

Saw you in St Kilda at the Palais, fantastic show. As a representative of the Ranga community, I salute you, Ginger.

Chris Hamilton on Monday, 7 December 2009

Despite the technical problems in Canberra last night I thoroughly enjoyed your performance! It was great to finally see you live. I originally discovered you after hearing your interviews on the Skeptics Guide to the Universe and The Skeptic Zone podcasts. Just wondering if you intend to make an appearance at TAM Australia in November 2010?

georgia on Monday, 7 December 2009

hello Tim(: i loved you at St George's Market in Belfast with duke special last year:D i was there with my dad, and i think he may have called you Frank when we were chatting with you afterwards in the bar upstairs.. sorry about that, he was abit drunk. xx

Angela on Monday, 7 December 2009

Hi Tim! I caught your Sydney show at the State Theatre on Saturday and I thought it was fantastic! Will definitely be seeing you in February

K1 on Monday, 7 December 2009

Terrific Canberra show, Tim. Brought my cousin who's a new convert. And the first time I've seen you perform live. Woke up this morning with aching sides.

Mick on Monday, 7 December 2009

Great show in Canberra Sunday night. I haven't laughed like that in ages. Spirit of the Staircase :) Well that's what you get for doing a gig in a town full of overeducated public servants! P.S. About the sans shoes thing, I just wondered what you'd throw at George W Bush if you ever met him (seeing as incisive wit would be lost on the man)?

Katherine Stevenson on Monday, 7 December 2009

Went and saw your show at Sydney and loved every minute of it. Was pretty disgusted when the theatre told us to wait for you to come and do signings out at the loading bay and then after we waited for two hours with the most unlikeable workman in the world, shut the gate in our faces and told us Tim had left. Tim was great, as always, but the theatre staff were ridiculously rude about the whole thing. Maybe I'll see Tim in Newcastle instead of Sydney next time!!

Jack L on Sunday, 6 December 2009

Hey Tim! Thanks for rocking the house last night in Canberra! Amazing show! Absolutely loved it. Your piano solos and arrangements blew me away! Look forward to seeing you again soon buddy!

Natalie Wilson on Sunday, 6 December 2009

Please, please do another UK tour in 2010 and please come to Glasgow again as I couldnt get tickets last time.

Susan on Sunday, 6 December 2009

We were at your Canberra show last night - and it was fantastic! Thanks so much for coming to Canberra and for your amazing show! Will you be saying the 'spirit' instead of 'wit' of the staircase from now on? ;-) and are you *really* a second cousin, twice removed of Nick Minchin? If so, I'm sorry ... :-) I hope you enjoy your day in Canberra today :-)

Blair Kennedy on Sunday, 6 December 2009

Went to your Brisbane show @ QPAC. Enjoyed it enormously, except being referred to as "One of God's Cattle." I was the one that boo when you were discussing the Americans' distain for Evolutionary theory. I wasn't booing your view of Creationists. I was booing Creationists!

Alex Nicol on Sunday, 6 December 2009

Went to the show last night at the state theater, amazing performance. Crowd around us sucked, but we sang along and cheered. My friends and waited at the back of the theater for you, then stalked your sister and her friends for information.

Alison Pearce on Sunday, 6 December 2009

Went to your Melbourne concert on Friday night having been a fan since the Adam Hillsong on Spicks and Specks. Had the best time, laughed so much went home with aching sides. You also reminded us as to what Christmas should be about. Thanks so much for the laugh!

Micha on Sunday, 6 December 2009

Addicted to the DVD,sing 'Canvas Bags' and 'Peace Anthem'with my 6yr old little girl(only let her watch/listen to those 2 songs!!) .....ALOT! ITS SOOOO FUNNY , AS YOU ARE. Love to see a live show sometime soon judging by the comments, really worth it.

JellyBean on Sunday, 6 December 2009

hi, i have loved your stuff since i was 15, and i would just like to comment about your 'rock and roll nerd' song, the persona of rock nower-days has been a bit muddled up, and very sterio-typical. The passion you have for music, the emotion behind the words and your general individuality respecfully proves your more rock then you believe. i would also love to congratulate you on your success, and your ever growing family - hope sarah is coping fine with looking after the two little one's without daddy arround much. thank you for your inspiration, honesty and powerfull passion for this world we live in. Megan Parrymore (JellyBean) UK xxxxxxx

Fran Pool on Saturday, 5 December 2009

Come back to England to tour PLEASE???? in particular Hexagon in Reading????

saxon on Saturday, 5 December 2009

hey, just got back from your show tonight, was totaly FUCKING awsome!! Almost had me in tears, the only thing that wasnt great was the last song after you want off the satge and came back on again, i just thought it shoulf have been a bit more of a wiz bang song like "so f***ing rock" or "rock n roll nerd", but it was still a fantastic show and will definatly be their next time you come to sydney!!

Jenny on Saturday, 5 December 2009

Thanks for the great show at the palais on Friday. I knew I would laugh a lot but I didn't expect to be moved to tears, as I was by your final song. Can we please replace all those crappy Christmas carols with this beautiful song. Your love of family is so apparent and I hope you have a wonderful Christmas with them.

Rachael-Jean on Saturday, 5 December 2009

Timm! Last nights performance at the Palais Theatre was truly amazing. Knew you were awesome before seeing you live, but actually seeing you live blew my mind away. Your truely an incredible singer, aswell as entertainer. Looking forward to seeing you again in feb!!! xo

Nik Bagshaw on Saturday, 5 December 2009

congratulations on last night's show at the Palais. We saw you at the comedy festival earlier in the year and we really enjoyed the changes between songs as well as the songs of course... Apologies for the slight upstaging during canvas bags, but i couldn't resist. At least it was one of your canvas bags. I also wanted to let you know that since we met i've started teaching secondary Psychology and Biology. So, like you, i'm doing my bit to get a message of rational thought out there. One of the best things about going to your show is being amongst like minded others in the crowd, so g'day to all the other fans! We love you Tim!

Terry Amstutz on Saturday, 5 December 2009

Hey Tim, Just heard of you through a friends blog who posted a link to your YOUTUBE vid for R&R Nerd. Friggin' Hilarious!!!! Fell flat on my ass and shook with laughter for hours!!!! Huge new fan. Brilliant humor. Genius music.

Kayleigh Gibson on Friday, 4 December 2009

Hey there Timmy wimmy woo woo.... Or Tim... Or any other name you'd prefer to be known by.. I'm a huge fan of your work! Was introduced to your DVD (So Fucking Rock) by my flatmate and I’m now addicted to it! (I love it that much I've even bought your merchandise!! That's commitment!) Anyhoo, I just wanna feed your ego a smidge by telling you how talented you are - your piano skills are just outstanding, and you're way funnier than an elderly person falling in the street! Please come back to Scotland soon!! I know most of us are loud, illiterate twats, but some of us (aka. me!) are pretty fucking cool :P Good luck with the Australia tour and have a awesome Christmas/New Year :)

Hazzaroman on Friday, 4 December 2009

Tim when does ready for this come out as a dvd in the uk i want it now x

Jodie Aitken (same as your first crush ;D) on Friday, 4 December 2009

Tim, Why must the most innapropriate lines that you have oh-so-expertly written show up in my head at the most innapropriate times? "My Neighbours Ass" should proably not be uttered in school. Thanks for that, Tim. :D Also, I am in training for your day, Minchinmas. I am practicing Peace Anthem For Palestine, which, by the way, is insanely hard, and walking barefoot a lot.

B. on Friday, 4 December 2009

Just have to say that your show in Melbourne tonight was hilarious! Thank you for a great night and I love you :)

Holly on Friday, 4 December 2009

I heard about you last year by a friend who saw you at the NZ Comedy Festival, he was told by his friends that once you see this guy (You), you will literally want to tell everyone you know about him. It's true! When we heard about your Ready For This tour to Auckland we were crazy excited but we can't make it because we have our own show on at the same time. If you are in Auckland for more than a night, come to Cross Street Studios, Cross Street, City @ 8pm, and we will put on a show for you!

Gabby on Thursday, 3 December 2009

Hey Tim Thanks for a brilliant night in Brisbane. Had so much fun introducing my parents to you! Please come to Darwin on your next tour of Oz we would love to have you. May your Christmas be sunny and the white wine plentiful. Best wishes

Thomasina on Thursday, 3 December 2009

Tim - one word - Amazing, clearly the highlight of my year. Thank you for bringing your comedy GENIUS to Brisbane :) The last song had me tearing up and I sincerely hope that you have a fantastic Christmas with your family

Miranda W on Thursday, 3 December 2009

Hey Tim! Thanks ever so much for delighting all of the Brisbanites with your show at QPAC last night! Seeing you perform live was... AMAZING! Can't wait until you're here again! :) Peace out, and rock on! \m/

Jen on Thursday, 3 December 2009

Thanks for coming to Brisbubble again Tim; took the whole family and all had the most wonderful time! After the guitar, lighting, fan and smoke machine, you could get a job as a roadie if the comedy thing doesn't work out :) Loved hearing White Wine in the Sun live... long story there, but that song means the world to me! Have a warm and wonderful Christmas with your family.

Lindy on Thursday, 3 December 2009

Thanks for the show last night. Sometimes I didn't know whether to laugh or cty, and your final song had me seriuosly tearing up. We (partner, son and gorgeous girlfriend) had us chuckling, chortling and snorting with delight all night and you so deserved the standing ovation. We wish you the best for the rest of the tour and for Christmas with the family you love.

Sharon Morgan on Thursday, 3 December 2009

Thanks for the great show last night in Brisbane. We all went as one big happy family and had a great time. Next time you are in the large continent of OZ come to Toowoomba. thanks from the family at Haden Stores

Katriona Quinn on Wednesday, 2 December 2009

Tim I love your stuff!! You're so clever and witty and your songs are amazing, I can't even begin to understand how you can write such poetry and make it so relevant to now! I love "Palestinian Peace Anthem", first song I heard by you, still makes me laugh :) and I loved you on Johnathan Ross,classic...Can't stop laughing when I listen to your choons, keep up the good work! Please come to Ireland!!! :)

Phylip on Wednesday, 2 December 2009

hey man, just discovered your stuff yesterday. i was watching a Tom Lehrer video on youtube and someone made a comment saying that you were a modern day version of him. so i had to check it out. at first i was skeptical, but after listening to more of your work, i can see some similarities. you have some great stuff, risque but great. just wondering did you pull some inspiration from Tom Lehrer being a fellow satirist? anyways if you ever come to the States, stop by Cincinnati,OH. it would be awesome to see your work in concert

Dylan, what about you? on Wednesday, 2 December 2009

Egg on Wednesday, 2 December 2009

Tim, my partner and I were just two of the many people who gave you a standing ovation at QPAC (Brisbane) last night. Your show was not only the highlight of my year, but it gave me a sense of hope...for this monkey species of ours. You are inspiring AND entertaining AND funny AND clever AND so talented AND rather cheeky too! Seeing you live was an honour. The only disappointment (if you can even call it that) is that all the pics of you in the program are so serious; at least one of your wicked grins would have been nice. Thank you for being so brilliant, yet so down-to-earth.

Will Teen on Wednesday, 2 December 2009

Dude thanks for offering me a "carol" that means something at this time of year. White Wine in the Sun is so absofuckinglutely beautiful and clearly describes the true reason why we get together on the 25th of December! We need nothing more than friends and family in this life. Happy Dayz mate, you are an inspiration! Will PS I am gutted I didn't know you were here in Brisbane last night!

kayleigh ;) on Wednesday, 2 December 2009

Karen on Wednesday, 2 December 2009

Can't get "So Rock" out of my head! I've got my family and friends singing it since forcing them to watch the video. I hope you do an American Tour, Mr. Minchin! You have so many fans here!

Gunnis on Wednesday, 2 December 2009

After years of listening to your early works I finally was able to secure myself a ticket to the live show at QPAC last night, and I must say that seeing the show live just adds a whole new dimension to your comedy and your talent. I must admit I had 'Confessions' running through my head all day! With work that flows effortlessly from intelligence to laugh-out-loud humour, you've definately cemented my place as a fan for years to come. Thank you for bringing joy to our lives. We'll share a few white wines for you at Christmas too, mate. Brilliant job!

Laurie (if klan members read this, please dont kill me) Howarth on Wednesday, 2 December 2009

Isn't it funny that if you say you like rubbish, cheap, underthought, overadvertised, gun endorsing, masoginistic mainstream R'n'B or Rap with no meaning or depth people think you're normal, but if you say you like comedy music, which is well written, well sung, well performed with intelligent satirical elements and poignant relelvant undertones, people look at you like you just admitted to being a baby killing klan member? But then again, I forgot, clever doesnt appeal to the teenage market. (my little brother Alex says Mitsubishi Colt is awesome.)

Stevie Knight on Tuesday, 1 December 2009

OK, I have just found myself singing Inflatable You in the kitchen at work. For the umpteenth day. Anyway, as someone who is mildly allergic to love songs (they bring me out in a big irritated streak) 'If I Didn't Have You' answers many needs. When sizing up my next relationship, (if I get that far) this will be the test. If they laugh themselves sick, and then agree, I might consider it. If they look mildly disappointed, they get dumped on the spot. If they nod and say, 'Yep, one of my favourites' and give me an extra verse, I shall probably fall into their arms there and then. Followed, no doubt, by as much ordinary misery as happens in the usual run of things after a move like that. But being realistic, that particular song is more for the late 20's and 30-somethings. At my age it is more a case of 'If I didn't have you, there will be quite a dry spell'. By the way, have you considered doing a song about the difficulties of pacifism? I mean, I am against violence with two thirds of my mind. That is, my intellect tells me that reacting with the same stuff that you are trying to squash is a bit like dumping petrol on a fire to put it out. And my experience shows me exactly the same thing is true - every time I listen to the radio (I threw the TV out) I get a whole new sense of 'haven't we been here before?'. But there is this last little bit. My own rage, that just wants to kick the shins out of the baddies, whether they are fundamentalist Christians, Muslims or just pirates out to make a buck to save their kids lives. Or someone who cuts me up when I am driving. I just want to kill. And I can almost, (not quite) justify it. Every time. I am only lucky that the other two bits of my mind can get hold of my foot to put it on the brake. So far. But if you see an obituary to a little known maritime journalist called Stevie Knight, who was killed in a car crash/gunning down a vicar/going mad in a supermarket when short changed - you know I didn't quite make it.

Jen on Tuesday, 1 December 2009

Wow - Just saw this amazing man live last night at QPAC. What a performance! I love your dark side too Tim... and can't wait to have a wine in the sun with my family this Christmas!!! Thank you for your words.... Brilliant!
