Hi Tim Just wanted to say "I love your work". I watched Rock + Roll Nerd on the ABC last night. Laughed, cried and everything in between. Thank you!

Kate on Thursday, 30 April 2009

Heya, Busy day today huh? Everyone's talking! I went and saw your show last night,it was way cool. I've been listening to your stuff for a couple years now and am way hooked - have actually paid for a cd, instead of being a thief an ripping it off the net (I can't help it - my boyfriend is a badass computer geek). Anyway, just a quick question: with the song "Darkside" is there a joke or something bend the accent that emerges, or did it just happen the first time you came up with it and you decided to keep it? It's been bugging me for ages! Anyway, good luck with the rest of your world tour.

Jape58 on Thursday, 30 April 2009

Hi Tim, I'm housesitting in Bateman and just saw Rhian Skirving's doco whilst visiting my sister who just had her gall stone removed. It was such an amazing thing to see your doco, so inspiring to. I just lay there and thought what a well made doco. It really touched me....and when you held your baby for the first time I thought, wow! you have very nice clothes. Kind Regards The Jack Russel Housesitter

Sean on Thursday, 30 April 2009

Belinda on Thursday, 30 April 2009

MONIKA on Thursday, 30 April 2009

Hi Tim, Wow I loved the documentary aired on the ABC in Australia! It was so inspirational and heart warming to see what you have been through and witness all the ups and down in your journey to success. I love the show and think you’re a brilliant singer/songwriter/pianist. Keep rockin!!

Nick. on Thursday, 30 April 2009

Tim, Watched the doco on ABC, great to see your soul driven ambitions and expressions have been finally appreciated by the greater population. You bring a little bit of laughter and reality to this worlds pretencious troubles and home truths.Keep sane on the wicked road to stardom.

The Brow on Thursday, 30 April 2009

Yes, you are a rock and roll nerd......and after watching you live at the Enmore, and seeing you tonight on the ABC - a nerd you may be, but an extremely talended nerd!! Keep putting it out there Tim, you are the man!!

Micky on Thursday, 30 April 2009

Tim, just watched the doco on the ABC- absolutely bloody brilliant stuff. Charming guy, amazing talent, great look (gorgeous baby too!). Love your work, keep it up.

Emma Sylvester on Thursday, 30 April 2009

Hi Tim, I'm assuming the bad review shown on the doco was from Phil Daoust? Here's hoping he took your advice and found that new job. I imagine his dreams were crushed as a child and just wants to return the favour. Either way your Wollongong show was quite enjoyable. Thanks for pointing out to that gentleman he was wearing a suit entirely made of leather...perhaps he didn't notice...tragic!

Kazza Smith on Thursday, 30 April 2009

Great documentary on ABC. We are from London, currently in Sydney, and had never heard of you until tonight but will definately be looking out for more of you. Disappointed you are not performing here and only in Perth, but when we are back home in London at the end of the year will be looking for your gigs. Absolutley fantastic!

Maria Simon on Thursday, 30 April 2009

Tim & Sarah. Just watched 'Rock N Roll Nerd'. It was the most heartwarming show I've seen in a long time. Well done to both of you. Tim, to see your beginnings, know how far you've come, and to see it documented was brilliant. You deserve all your success and more. Sarah, I cried with you when you lost your first baby. To see you finally get your wish was just beautiful. Congratulations to both of you for getting through all the tough times together. Hopefully life just gets more brilliant by the day. Good luck.

Hello. *uses force powers* You must write a song about cheese. *uses force powers again* Cheese is very important to the fundamentals of this world. *uses force powers* Think about cheese, and you will realise it's importance. *uses force powers for the sake of using force powers.*

Nik Bagshaw on Thursday, 30 April 2009

Congratulations on the docco. Can't wait to see the full version when the DVD comes out next week. I think that yours, Sarah's and others' belief in your ability is an important part of your success. You have to believe to achieve. My wife pointed out the fact that to have documented the lead up to the success was testament to the belief in your ability to achieve your goals. Thank you to you and Sarah for sharing your journey so far. Your fans old and new will be there supporting you guys for a long time to come!

Kathryn Salkield on Thursday, 30 April 2009

Have seen your last 3 shows in Brisbane and loved each of them. Dragged my brother to your most recent one and he thought it was fantastic. Glad that everything is working out for you and always thought that you would get far with your talent. Will be keeping an eye out for when you are around Brisbane. Loved the doco on you and love how intelligent your songs are. Cheers Kat

EMMA on Thursday, 30 April 2009

Just watched Rhian Skirving's doco! i love in australia! and man! you fucking rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! xD oh also i just found out ur bday is a day after mine! love!

Carla J on Thursday, 30 April 2009

I just watched Rhian Skirving's doco on ABC TV in Australia. You really are so fucking rock - and so is your wife. Thank you for your comedy and all the risks you took to get our attention. Right now there is so much crap going on in the world - global financial meltdowns, swine flu, death of Bea Arthur...(chuckle). I get caught up in getting the kids ready, getting to work, keeping the house going, trying to eat right, drink less, be awake enough for sex and relaxed enough to get to sleep. What you've inspired me to do is take a few risks tomorrow with what I'm passionate about. And just see what happens.

Bryan on Thursday, 30 April 2009

Just saw the docco on the TV...... and just in case you are searching for more affirmations - you have just collected another fan!

steve tropoulos on Thursday, 30 April 2009

You are brilliant. I wish you and your wife all the best with your bubby. The doco on the ABC was exciting and inspiring and surprining. I have enjoyed your work on commercial tv over the past 6 months. Hope to catch a gig in Brisbane. Well done May love surround you always.

KENO on Thursday, 30 April 2009

How the fuck did i miss out on seeing you live. i just saw you played in wollongong not long ago which is 40 minutes away, god i would of given up my parental rights and handed the kids to the dept of community services ( cause they would of been home alone) to have the privilege of seeing your show shhhhhhhiiiittttttttt!. Lets hope next time your in the area ( come to Bowral NSW )that us mere human beings are better informed. Cheers.

Gareth N on Thursday, 30 April 2009

Hi Tim, I've just watched a show on ABC documenting your fantastic journey and rise to comedy fame. Congratulations! I just wanted to say how incredibly inspiring you and your story is. It has given me the inspiration to follow my own dreams... Thanks, for not only making me laugh but for also being an inspirational Australian..

Martin from Estonia on Thursday, 30 April 2009

I stumbled upon your music about half a year ago and I still listen to your songs every other day or so. I almost 100% agree with your views on religion and I share your sense of humour. Keep on rolling, you're so fucking rock :)

Jape58 on Wednesday, 29 April 2009

Loved your show last night - not a bad response "from a Perth audience" on a Tuesday night I thought. One last word on homeopathy. I had a friend who tried to kill himself with homeopathy - he took an underdose !

Chelsie on Tuesday, 28 April 2009

OMG!!! Just found my mum is taking me to watch you for my birthday i am so hapy i cant wait. I love your music it is amazing :D

Marie Read on Tuesday, 28 April 2009

Hi Tim Just got back from your tuesday show. Was so good to see you on stage. As usual your performance made me snort and cry. I loved your rendition of sleeping babies and Storm. I feel like most of the laughter from the audience is like a collective outpouring of relief that someone is brave enough to express what goes on in our private minds, which is so great to be a part of; to laugh out loud at something which normally (and stupidly, but under the circumstances understandably) we may chastise ourselves for even thinking. Anyway HUGS.

Bruce on Tuesday, 28 April 2009

So here's the scoop...There are bunch of us here in the States that are stuck with youtube videos and not much else. Why the hell aren't you on Itunes? I think I nearly killed a puppy after watching "Storm," I was laughing so hard. yeah, so....that's a little random, but my points still valid. How are we supposed to get our fix of Tim?

Rudiger Nigel Hightness on Saturday, 25 April 2009

greetings to timothy anythony wallis minchin. i have closely studied your works and found there comedic artistic value to be of high regard on comparison with the hounds of tribute tommorow. it is likely upon meeting a serious of verbs, adjectives, nouns and adverbs would be exchanged but not neccessarily in that order. don't. Thank you for your time (approximate reading tim 1:10 seconds). i beleive the time u spent would make your song serpent lose momentum.

richard trinkett blousen on Saturday, 25 April 2009

Jason Stevens on Saturday, 25 April 2009

Theresa Mongan on Friday, 24 April 2009

Hi Tim - hiring the Forum was the perfect venue to house your quorum, if I'd used my head and planned ahead, our seats would have been nearer, wouldn't care if they'd been dearer, next time I'll book further in advance, then I'll have a better chance of sitting in a better place and getting a better view of your face. Love from Miss Theresa and my beautiful daughter, Miss Erika, your tapping glamour kitten fans. We've crowned you an honorary glamour kitten, cos you're the coolest cat and we're decidedly smitten now that we've seen you live for the first time in our lives. Thank you for being you and no-one else. I wish I had taped your Andrew Denton interview because the song you wrote for your baby daughter was the most beautiful thing I have heard in years. Is it purchasable? Hope to see you in the crowd (singing loud) at Southbank on International Tap Dancing Day. Love again from Miss Theresa and Miss Erika.xxx

Pedant on Wednesday, 22 April 2009

I saw you in Melbourne last night and had a great time, laughing all the way through the show. But I do feel compelled to point out that gravity is a law, not a theory. Can you work that in?

Evil Dave on Tuesday, 21 April 2009

Hi Tim As a big fan of your work I listened with interest to your Skeptics interview over the weekend. As a Christian (other demographic bits - single mother & nursing student) I was impressed with what you had to say on evolution & religion. I've believed in intelligent design for most of my life, whereby God created human-kind using evolution as a process. Evolution is evidence based on sound scientific research obviously and creationism/Christianity is based on the very opposite; faith. Intelligent design incorporates creationism with science. This is a convenient solution to the 'where do we come from' question for Christians (or anyone who fancys it really) however after listening to your interview I realised I believe in it because it's an easy answer and not because I've really thought it through. This is still a work in progress for me. I'd be interested do know if you feel there are any phenomena in life that are faith based? Or are you strictly a science man? Thanks for taking the time to read my email. All the best for the rest of your Aussie tour. It would be really great if you toured all of NZ sometime. Cheers, Debra

Nath on Sunday, 19 April 2009

I got so excited today when i saw you were touring i went to get tickets then saw you had to be 18, now im quite pissed off.

Linz on Saturday, 18 April 2009

Sigh. Well im sitting here attempting to write an essay on how to make transition metal chemistry interesting to kids (and other impossibilities) and im listening to so F**king rock in the background and somehow the essay just isn't writting itself. sigh. Ah well. Looking forward to seeing you in Bradford in October.

Nina on Saturday, 18 April 2009

Happy to see I'm not your only Swedish fan. Actually I think you have quite an audience here. You wouldn’t let a few polar bears stand in your way?

Amy on Friday, 17 April 2009

"Ready For This" in Melbourne last night was fantastic! My friends and I laughed the entire time! I really admire your guts to say what you think, your unbelieveable intelligence and your logical take on life. Congrats on ANOTHER great show :o)

Soph on Friday, 17 April 2009

Hi, i don't really have a comment as much as a question. Do you sell song books so i can learn to play your songs? :)

Brenda on Friday, 17 April 2009

I emailed a link to you singing "If I Didn't Have You" on YouTube to some office mates because I thought it was so cool. Only one person responded that she loved it and would send the link to her lovelorn son. Everyone else avoided eye contact with me because they didn't get it. Do you ever have that problem?

Aileen on Thursday, 16 April 2009

I'd like to learn to time travel so I can toddle on forward to the 12th October when I am going to see you perform in Aberdeen because I honestly cannot wait ^_^ love you muchly xx

JML on Wednesday, 15 April 2009

I had the privelege of seeing Tim perform at the Powerhouse for the Brisbane Comedy Festival. I honestly cannot remember the last time I laughed quite so hard. I've never seen anyone make 'clever' as funny as Tim Minchin does, and his music is beautiful to boot. I look forward to following his career and the great things to come! Keep up the good work, Tim.

David Owen on Tuesday, 14 April 2009

Tim, you have to come to the U.S...you'd become a legend here. Jeesh, if Dame Edna can do it! The West Coast of the U.S is 4,000 miles closer to Perth than London...it just makes sense! Your humour, songwriting and intelligence would be a perfect match for the good people of San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle etc...you can stay at my place, I've got an extra room...but no hanky panky with the missus! Cheers

Ray on Tuesday, 14 April 2009

will you ever come to play in the United States?

Andrew D on Monday, 13 April 2009

Hey. I can just leave a messasge? You really are so fucking rock. Love the sitem got all the stuff. Just waiting for you to come a LITTLE closer to my half of the world. (Norway at the moment but anything left of Bolivia will do) Btw I`ve put jamming with you on my list of things to do before I die. 1) Jam with Eric Clapton, 2) Do anything with Dave Matthews and now 3) Jam and impres Tim Minchin. Possibly not in that order. Eric isn`t returning my calls. Or E-mail. Or pony. Well done on promoting atheism (take my wife) might be one of the greatest songs of our time. ("Our" being me and my girlfriend/fiancè and anyone else who agrees with me). Have you met Richard Dawkins? If so can I touch you? Maybe dedicate a song to him? "The (un)masked avenger or something." Can`t wait till you decide to come to Norway, (but, using my psycic powers, I fear i might have to). You can freeze your ass off, eat some fish and play some songs. You can stay at my place. On the couch though. I barely know you.

Dan (aka D) on Sunday, 12 April 2009

I'm absolutely loving your sexy bunny photo on FB Tim. Perhaps you will now be synonymous with Easter? Forget the Easter Bunny, I want my sweet treats delivered by you... :-P

Horse - Hannah on Friday, 10 April 2009

Hello Tim. Don't know if you still get time to read this, but I had planned things to say to you last night in Geelong, though for the life of me I can't remember what. Suffice to say I think you're a wonderful human being, and thank you for being so very lovely. It was fantastic to finally meet you. :) See you in Melbourne, and I'll try not to be so shaky and silly this time. :P xoxox

Zahlia on Friday, 10 April 2009

Matt, England on Wednesday, 8 April 2009

Well Tim, I travelled all the way through Tahiland, China and the Northern Territory, fighting off various mythical creatures and saving damsels in distress along the way, and now that I've finally gotten to Adelaide, it appears I'm too late... I doubt i could make it to Melbourne for your final performance before you head off to Perth, this makes me sad... All i can do now is book tickets to see you in London on my birthday (3rd October)... It was a noble effort...

Jessie on Tuesday, 7 April 2009

Why do you have to be in australia on my birthday?! :'(

Brenton on Tuesday, 7 April 2009

Lisa on Monday, 6 April 2009

I am so pissed off at myself. I had tickets to come and see your show on Sunday 5th April at the enmore and I bloody forgot. I can't believe it. I was so looking forward to it but had so much other shit going on that I missed it. I do hope that you can find it in your heart to come back to Sydney again and I will tatoo it on my forehead so I don't miss it.

Kate on Monday, 6 April 2009

Bloody awesome show on Saturday. One tiny little thing though... your Jesus was wearing a crucifix. Which, you know, was fucking hilarious when we realised it... so maybe it was deliberate? Anyway, it didn't detract from the show at all. If anything, it just made us laugh harder... at a totally inappropriate moment :) Good luck with the rest of the tour!

Travis on Monday, 6 April 2009

Only a Ginger, can call another Ginger a Ginger. Fucking LOVED your show last nite Tim! You were amazing, made my weekend a memorable one! Can't wait for the opportunity to see you live again!

Penny on Sunday, 5 April 2009

Just love your balance of wacky, funny, freaking rude, serious and just plain weird. Love the one about the good book. The last person that made me laugh that much was Billy Connolly. And I'm a redhead. Good job. Go Tim!

Ash on Saturday, 4 April 2009

Liza (wickedlibrarian) on Saturday, 4 April 2009

I do hope my librarian friend and her new husband enjoy your matinee in Sydney. I also hope she gets a chance to say hello to you after. Since I hear you're doing the DVD taping though, that's probably unlikely? Anyway, sounds like people are LOVING the show. Hope you're having fun too!

Darren B on Saturday, 4 April 2009

Seattle, Washington checking in. So when do your plans for US domination begin? Keep on keeping on. D

Manx-Michelle on Friday, 3 April 2009

I have introduced your music to Windermere in the Lake District. Not sure about the people (they seem to be fairly elusive) but the swans certainly liked it, especially the Phil Daoust song. xx

Ems on Friday, 3 April 2009

Everest on Friday, 3 April 2009

Annie on Thursday, 2 April 2009

Thank you so much for great music! You are very welcome to perform in Sweden if you're ever in this part of the world.

JD on Wednesday, 1 April 2009

heyy tim, think you songs are geat! ever thought of making an album??

Richy on Wednesday, 1 April 2009

All i was going to ask, was how long you've spent playing musical instruments (particularly piano) and if you're "relatively skilled" with more than just the piano, cause I think it'd be a fantastic idea if you begin to branch out to more instruments for your acts. Like a Bill Bailey of Australia, but focusing on the musical comedy, more than the stand up comedy with music :D also, your comment of "Maybe you want to ask me where I live and come and bring me cookies" up there ^^^^ I could post you some from the UK? or i could promise to give you them in Newcastle in October if you like? what's your favorite kind of cookie? =] Also just wanna make a quick note of how much I admire your musical performance and comedic talents! you really are one of a kind, Tim =]

Aristotle on Wednesday, 1 April 2009

You're quite amazing Tim, my friend and I have failed many attempts at an Australian accent due to your inspiration.

Daniela on Wednesday, 1 April 2009

When is "if i didn't have you going to be available to download??" i love that song 5/5 :D

Simone on Wednesday, 1 April 2009

At least Channel 10 had the decency to telivise the whole song. Hoorah x
