Tim, I traveled to London, from Maine (USA), with my family, to see Matilda the Musical. What a fabulous show! I would like to see it again. When can we get the score for the music. My chorus students love it already and want to sing "When I Grow Up".

Laura on Wednesday, 30 May 2012

Hi Tim, I absolutely love your songs. You can make me cry and laugh, well ... mostly laugh. You are such a gifted musician and songwriter! I hope I will be able to come and watch a show of yours. This comment really sounds cliché, but it is true! =) Anyway, greets from Belgium!

Tim, I love your song "You Grew on Me" and I hope to play it at my wedding. It's funny, but still romantic in a way, and surely won't bore my guests like most wedding songs do. :)

Tim Minchin, I discovered you in the wonderful year of 2008. When I saw you on Graham Norton's show and I immediately bought your "So F**king Rock" DVD (see what I did there)...I was completely content with this until this year (just because the dvd is that brilliant) but thought that I should do a little research and not only did you write the music and lyrics for matilda (massive musical theatre fan) You are also playing Judas in JCS Arena Tour......I was so excited by this i've forced my mum to buy tickets for us to see you at the O2 and also come and see your amazing work for matilda which im taking my friend to in july. You are honestly the most beautiful long haired ginger Australian that i've ever seen.....and i will never allow another to have effect on my life because you are just that brilliant!! can't wait to see you at the O2. im infront of the stage but all the way up in the air as i'm not rich haha but i'm sure i will still feel your moist lyrical mouth brush past me from all the way up there!!

Beardy American on Thursday, 24 May 2012

Tim Minchin. My roomie introduced me to your music/comedy and now I listen to you whenever I take a bath. Absolute best wishes and hope that you never stop making songs, -Beardy American

I just...... love U I love your work, your music, your eyes (GOD,your eyes! jajajajajaj), your humor and your hair!!! ok that's superficial but I don´t speak English so I forgive my self XD I'm from Chile (in the end of the world) and I watched your Shows on you tube (most of the time with subs in spanish) and I would love if maybe you include subs in your videos... my classmates are fans of you and I think that would be good for you to cross borders... but that is just my opinion and I'm not sure if my poor english is understandable enough... ps: Good luck with the acting, and I hope it goes splendidly!

Tamara on Wednesday, 23 May 2012

Tim, your shows are amazing! All I am wanting to know is.... When are you coming back to Australia to do more shows here. I would love to have the chance to see one of them live in person. Tamara

Sam2 on Sunday, 20 May 2012

I know I've asked about it before, but I think that the BBC has missed a BIG opportunity in not releasing the 2011 BBC Comedy Prom on DVD. It would have been a big seller for sure and great for all those in Australia who couldn't see it live on TV. As Tim's star continues in its ascendency, a gem like this would surely have been a winner (I know, because I was able to see it once on Foxtel at a friend's house. Would have loved to be able to play again - and again.) The version of "This is My World" at the end was pure heaven. Sigh - so short-sighted of those who decided not to release it.

Debbie on Friday, 18 May 2012

I have got my ticket for Jesus Christ Superstar. Tim as Judas it makes perfect sense! I cannot bloody wait.....................

Anyway I wanted to tell you that God does love you, he gave you your amazing talent..he will never forsake you and forever love you, despite you choosing to be an atheist. Thank you so much to the person who put the clip of Tim on the One Show up on Youtube for those of us outside the UK who would otherwise have no access. I have had a wonderful time watching Tim and listening to his latest interviews on BBCIplayer. Who could not wish him every luck and happiness in the world!! I first came across Tim on the doco film "Rock and Roll Nerd" and, through that insight into his struggles and his life, almost feel I know him. Crazy, isn't it! But it is lovely to be able to keep in touch with his journey and successes. We miss Tim in Australia (have seen him live 3 times now), but know that everyone wants their little bit of him. Amazing to think how hard he struggled to get noticed - with the support and love of his adorable wife. I really hope he and his family have a wonderful life.

Sarah on Thursday, 17 May 2012

Me and my boyfriend both think you are a genius. We watch your shows and listen to your music all the time and have both admitted we would leave each other for you. haha. You should do a show in New Zealand Sometime. I would give my right arm to see you perform :)

Susan on Wednesday, 16 May 2012

Please return to the US soon! Yours is a much needed voice of wisdom and humor that we desperately need in a land filled with crazy religious nutjobs who won't rent you pianos, and where having the brain cells to question anything can get you killed. We need you Tim. America is Scary.

Pia on Thursday, 10 May 2012

Hi Tim! Come to Finland. Your ridiculous humor will work in here. People here are ironic- just like you are, and look like sleep deprived bears - just like you do. So you would fit right in. Please come. I may even bring you cookies.. :) - Pia from Finland Ps. We are used to and very fond of hairy guys with instruments and no shoes.. if you are curious, you might want to see this ( song starts in 4min..) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mdjy27nwe6s&feature=related And on this one he sings with a choir of frogs and a singing instruktor who has very little understanding of the anatomy of frogs.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZYr-LIVGSQ&feature=related The point still is that, we like you - a lot.

Ned on Thursday, 10 May 2012

Hey tim! just wanted to let you know I adore your music so much-got you on my ipod! x You are the best musician and comedian in one. Storm is the most amazing poem ever, I know it off by heart now. I really have no idea how you could write something so brilliant. Wish we could study this for my GCSE english literature thanks so much for being amazing, i have loved your charisma and talent for ages now. THANK YOU xx

With Honey Comes Stingers on Tuesday, 8 May 2012

Tim Minchin, you are undoubtedly the most hilarious man I've ever had the dumb luck upon whom to stumble. You do what so many other comedians do well, that is, draw logic from inanity, pry bits of lucidity from insanity, but what you do better than most is fight ignorance like a Cuisinart, the wicked-sharp blade of your intellect frappe'-ing the ever-loving shit out the crude vegetable matter that occupies most people's thick, Neanderthal skulls! You have me as a loyal fan forever. Keep up the fight against illogical, mindless and unnecessary beliefs.

Peter on Tuesday, 8 May 2012

First listened to White Wine in the Sun back in October, just in time to discover that you had been here in Madison, WI only a few days before. I'd rather watch your clips than kittens on YouTube and hope, along with a lot of others here, that you will come back some time soon. I also hope it's still true that evolution is uncontroversial outside the USA. Ken Ham is from Australia - I hope your material is keeping him at bay there! You impression of infant breathing is so good it's scary. Is anyone selling DVDs of your shows in NTSC format?

Kitteh on Tuesday, 8 May 2012

Tim, thumbs up from Russia! Awesome -- simply awesome! Please NEVER stop :D

Sara on Tuesday, 8 May 2012

Hi tim! Just wanna say I'm really looking forward to seeing your show on the 15th June! sooo excited! I'll bring wine and cheese! see you then! :-D

Bron from Tweed Hds NSW on Tuesday, 8 May 2012

I too saw some of the Syd Symph show. At times I thought, awh this is a bit too gross, then it would swing back to genius performance. You certainly have special talent, and it's wonderful that you are using it to provoke thought, and promote critical thinking. Wish you and yours well.

elise adams on Tuesday, 8 May 2012

Tim, Hi,from gorgeous Seymour, Victoria, Australia. Caught end of gig with Sydney Symph luckily REALLY late the other night. (on Nanny time!!) Watched with awe, wonder, laughed, cried and was generally mesmerised. You are a master. And, like great wine, improving with age. All luck and good fortune to you, and keep up your extraordinary stuff. You touch my soul, hows that for a comment!! Next time your passing through town, drop in and say g,day!

Jenny on Monday, 7 May 2012

Hi Tim, With your ability to use stats, music and humour to highlight both common sense and critical thinking just thought I'd recommend a book. "Think fast and slow: by a psych professor who won the nobel prize for economics. Some of his insights should be bought to the masses and can't think of a better person to do so. Keep entertaining and educating. Jenny PS Sorry if you have already read this..it is presumptuous of me but the thought of you and this material was too tempting to ignore.

Mr Joe Lunn on Monday, 7 May 2012

Debbie on Sunday, 6 May 2012

Thank you Sam2 I now feel free to carry on adoring Tim for his work. Friends are always telling me how demanding I am........................ maybe it is true!!

Lyn T on Sunday, 6 May 2012

Watching a rerun of your 'Tim Minchin vs The Sydney Symphony;and just had to look up your website and let you know I think you are truly an incredibly talented and amazing person who has such a fabulous bent way of not only entertaining but informing your audience. On another note... I would be more than happy to make you biscuits, not cookies, anytime you are in Melbourne! I look forward to seeing dates of Melbourne shows advertised in the not too distant future.

Carol-Anne Girvan on Saturday, 5 May 2012

hiya will you being doing any gigs in norther ireland, or the republic of ireland, my mum just thinks you are class, would love to take her to see one of your gigs.

Sam2 on Friday, 4 May 2012

Hi Debbie, Tim was using the phone as a cue card and read off the names in full of the two girls who had played the part of Matilda in Stratford on Avon. I read somewhere that it was the first time anyone had used a phone as a prompt, but Tim clearly didn't want to muck up their names or forget one of them and, even with his experience, the venue and occasion must have been pretty overwhelming. He also used it to remind him of all the other people he wanted to thank. I agree that Tim is the last person to be rude or offhand, and I guess he thought it was the best way to remember to include everyone in his speech. Cheers!

Debbie on Friday, 4 May 2012

Tim ( or Tim fans) please tell me why you were messing with your mobile phone when picking up your Olivier Award? Did I miss an explanation? ( I watched it on youtube ) It looked soo rude! I know you are not and also believe in everything you talk about through your work, deep regard from a loyal but demanding fan!

Georgie Gold on Friday, 4 May 2012

Tim! Just wanted to let you know that your songs are what get me through my days. The fact that you are so realistic and the fact that I have a lot of the same beliefs as you, makes you my favourite comedian and musician. You are a wonderful performer and your concert in Adelaide was fantastic. You are one of those artists that will never be forgotten even when you have stopped performing. I can't wait for you to come back to Adelaide some time soon :) Georgie :)

Michelle on Tuesday, 1 May 2012

Tim. Tiiiim. You were going to in Cambridge May Ball lineup with my brother. My brother. I forced him to come to London to see your show five years ago, and now you were going to be on the same staaaage. I was hysterically excited. Ah, but I'm happy for you, landing this acting role, and I hope it goes really well. And even though I'm super disappointed it's probably a good thing, because I might have turned murderous with jealousy. I may not haunt the angryfeet forums like I once did several years ago but I'm still as loyal a fan as ever. So I think I can forgive you. Maybe. Good luck with the acting, and I hope it goes splendidly!

Em from Oz on Tuesday, 1 May 2012

Don't worry about your cancelled shows tim!!! We all understand that you are a normal person like all of us and have a family to care for. We all love you heaps (not in a weird way) and we hope you will be able to do more shows at the end of the year:) Em:]
