I think, I mean I hope I think You are the best in this what you do. Don't stop.

Laura on Saturday, 30 October 2010

Heyya Tim! Thought you might like to know, your songs have officially been listened to by a person riding a camel through the Sahara Desert (Morocco) .... by person i am referring to myself haha =). I love your music, you are actually amazing! I really wish I could meet you someday. It has become a dream of mine because you are just so awesome! You are one of my main piano inspirations! =) Much love to you, Laura xxx

Sara on Saturday, 30 October 2010

Hi Tim, I think you're a genius. I've loved every video I've found on You Tube starting with The Pope Song that I linked to from a Pharyngula post. I've even figured out how to play some of your songs and when I rode my bike to the store today I was humming Canvas Bags (and I brought mine - the song actually helps :)). I think it would be beyond awesome if you started touring around the US. I live in Portland, Oregon, where people aren't very church-y and are almost all liberal. I think you could have some material over here with the New Age Granola Hippie Yuppies (as I call them) and their just as messed-up version of a god. They're always calling it the Universe which is weird since the Universe doesn't give a fuck about us. But, I've had many a NAGHY thank the Universe when I've done something nice for them. Or, perhaps, thank themselves, because the nice thing that I decided to do for them was really just a result of them "putting it out there in the Universe." It's no different than when my religious friend thanks god or the people who prayed for her when I do something nice for her. Anyway, so there's my two cents. Come to the US. Or don't and then I'll have an excuse to plan a trip to Australia. Thanks for making me laugh. And, cry. And, cry from laughing. Cheers, Sara

Hi, Thanks for all your hard work in writing all those genius yet so simple songs that made me laugh and made me laugh even harder when their are people around me listening to your song at the same time with a facial expresion that says what the fuck? because they just can't keep up witth your fast paced witty humor and incredibly long winded sentences and then laugh with the ones who can just about keep up at the end of the sentence which tends to end very suddenly without warning after being dragged out for an exceedingly long time............. Anyway........ thanks for your hard work and can wait for more, Also i can't wait for your new dvd to come out XD

Bex Kirk on Friday, 29 October 2010

Yay! Can't wait to see you in Bham with my friend Jamie (legend that he is...buying me tickets=))....well...ok I can wait....that's kind of how the calendar we have operates really...but yeah, and have preordered your new DVD already. *more inane grinning* And ideas where I can find sheet music for "You Grew On Me" ? Have tried Mickey Burman, but in his own words "this version is shit, really, if you play it all like this it'll sound shit" which made me laugh, until I realised it sort of did. Thanks!!! x x x

It's a good thing I was introduced to Tim Minchin with "Storm" on Facebook. (Go ahead, roll your eyes at the mention of FB . I already have.) Normally when I see someone screaming "LOOK AT ME!" with his eyeliner and rat's nest hair I quietly walk in the other direction, but now that I've become a completely harmless stalker and fan, I find the look endearing. (Which means it's time to stop since it's no longer cool when a 46 year old woman finds it endearing.) Anyway, you make me laugh Tim Minchin. Thank you.

Louise on Friday, 22 October 2010

Oh tim, there is never a moment when you do not cease to amaze me, i really cannot wait the 1month at 25 days until i get to see you, (not that i have started my count down). I really do hope you enjoyed your birthday present from all the Angry(feet)ers. I played my top trumps against my 10 year old brother, my was not too please when she realised what some of the cards actually said on them. She then went on to tell me, if i ever showed them/played them against my brother again, she would burn them. Bit harsh in my oppinion, but hey, thats my mum, she is opposed to bad language. What a shame. Any way, i bigining to ramble on a bit. Cut to the ending... Hope you liked you present/card, look forward to seeing you, Keep up the good work. Louise xx

Samm on Monday, 18 October 2010

Hey Tim! What's your address? I'll bring you some cookies... Kidding! Sort of.. Please write some more songs man! I've listened to ten foot cock and a few hundred virgins & some people have it worse than I like a thousand times. I convinced my RE teacher to play Ten foot cock & a few hundred virgins, it was hilarious; she wasn't happy and half the class didn't get it, retards. But it was damn funny, I almost keeled over. Write some more of those kind of songs & THEN come play them at Middlesbrough, seriously! I'll bring cookies to the gig? Does that sweeten the pot?

Susanne Okroy on Monday, 18 October 2010

Alright Ginger! (Similarly afflicted, so it's okay I believe). I recently came across your extraordinary work and like everyone else here I've gone a bit MinchinMad. You f**king rock, man! Me and my (also ginger) t'other half are getting married soon and we'll be featuring 'If I Didn't Have You' as our first dance (sort of hoping people will be so awestruck by the music they'll forget to watch us shuffling awkwardly). We're coming to see you in December and can't wait! Thanks for all your songs and wisdom dude xx

Mike on Wednesday, 13 October 2010

Tim, you're a god. Any chance of a tour of the US?

Katie and Russ on Tuesday, 12 October 2010

Tim, Tim, Tim, I bought your DVD purely on a whim, Some people say your stupid, or even a little psycho, but they dont get your humor, They should watch your show. To make them understand and truly appriciate the wonderful music that you make. It affects us all, in some great way, the ability to make us smile all the while, and even cry till were dry. Either way, I just have to say, Thankyou Mr Minchin, For everythin' :) Much love and keep writing, your my idol and my inspiration as a writer myself. I particularly love how you manage to juxtapose such different ideals, i.e. anal sex and god... angry with the subtitle (feet) The way you tell the story and get from the one to the other just leaves me in total awe. You are without doubt the best comedic act out there today as your shows not only deliver brilliant comedy, but in such an interesting way with the upbeat songs full of wonderful morals and teachings (i especially love the song about toby the first fish to have feet - it really makes you think!) Anyway just thought i'd leave a little poem for you to feed your truly deserved ego and i cant wait to see you in birmingham! Much love, Katie (and Russ) xxxx

B. on Tuesday, 12 October 2010

Enthusiastic generic compliments on your continual success!! Ambiguous obligatory secondary statement of adoration for your work accompanied by awkwardly sideways emotional representation. Shameless begging imploring you to pay a visit to the US sometime. Felicitous salution, Brian

Lau on Tuesday, 12 October 2010

Just to let you know that you have reached a nerd couple in Madrid... And we have friends, and friends have friends... forwarding your songs around... We haven't listened to anything else for the last few days! Hope to see you soon around here! Best wishes and keep up with NO FEAR.

Hi Tim, I think I mentioned this before, but you are one amazing person! Hurray for you every decent human being with a scratch of brain loves you to pieces etc. etc. etc. and if you ever come to the Netherlands I'll make cookies for you, your wife, your children, your entire family. Please come to the Netherlands! We need to be taught some decent English!! We're also very judgemental and stoopid and tiny back here, we need a bash on the head. It might wake up some brain, one never knows. You'd be perfect for that. <3

Friend at work said " you know you're obsessed with that chap with the big hair and makeup, well I found this in the post office and bought it for you. " DVD of RnR nerd. In the post office! Aust post gone up in my estimation. Needless to say already had it, but appreciated the gesture.

Frank Francis on Monday, 4 October 2010

I accidently came across your show on TV in midnight last week (sadly, had never heard of you before). WAAAAAAAOWWW- never saw any performance like yours ! You are SO talented/genius. And your song ‘it’s not perfect’ made me cry for real! I got so pumped up after watching your performance that I watched all that I could find on internet on you. Going to get all your DVDs ASAP! You have one more hardcore fan in this world TIM, and I am going to introduce you to all my friends! You are god damn rock… so mofo rock! Been humming ‘you eat no pigs, we eat no pigs’ for past three days, to the point that my wife is going to kick my big fat ugly arse if I hummed it once more… oh well, I settled for ‘take your canvas bags’ instead, which I love equally. :-)

Crash Buist on Monday, 4 October 2010

As an actor/playwright/lyricist going to school in Texas, I'm more pumped about Matilda than I have been for any musical in recent history. I could sit here and obsess over your talent all day, but the simple fact is you're a brilliant musician and writer who can bring something to the stage I don't think I have ever seen before. Watching Ready For This got me so pumped for musical theatre that I am getting with my buddy who's a brilliant musician and turning one of the comedies I was recently working on into a musical. I don't know where else to go with this. I'm writing in a GuestBook you'll probably never read. Keep kickin' ass. Crash

Kat on Monday, 4 October 2010

Please, please, please come to America (more specifically, anywhere in Virginia, Washington DC or Philadelphia!!!) My sister introduced me to your music and you always manage to make us smile, so in retaliation (*grin*) I want to get us both tickets to see you live. However, no matter how much I love my sister, my bank account cannot seem to get the hang of producing enough money to travel to the UK or Australia. Much love from Virginia!

Alice on Monday, 4 October 2010

When are you coming to New Zealand again!! You sold out before I could get a ticket last year, and you are kind of a genius. Put our Aus/Kiwi differences aside and come visit us again.... you wont regret it!! PS I love you.

Heather Vine on Saturday, 2 October 2010

I have been growing more and more deliciously obsessed with you since recording So F**kin Rock on my Sky+ and have been needing to watch at least some of it every day to feed my addiction. I am working nights at the moment, and was dreading 3 whole nights without my fix of you, so I was one extremely happy girl when I found you on Nevermind the Buzzcocks during my break on Thursday night. Last night I was almost orgasmic when I found you on E4! It's a good job work was quiet or else there would have been some very hungry babies (I'm a nurse on Special Care Baby Unit!!) whilst you were on!! I was just pondering how I am going to cope if I can't have my fix of you tonight, and you have just dropped through my letterbox!!!!!!!! My very own So F**kin Rock Live DVD!! :-) I can take you everywhere with me now! I should be in bed now but am too excited to sleep. Think I might have to have a sneaky peak before I head to the land of nod. Can't wait for my Rock and Roll Nerd DVD to arrive through the post next and am counting down the days until I get to see you in the flesh in Cardiff!!!!!!! Love you! Love you! Love you! xxxxxxxxxxxx

Monti on Saturday, 2 October 2010

Had a bad day and you cheered my evening up thanks to E4 and E4+1. Have had you on most of the night, singing along. Love ya Tim, you are hysterical. Wish I could get "You Grew on Me" for download, love that song. Sod it, love them all lol.

Josh on Saturday, 2 October 2010

Got your so fucking rock dvd recently and it's bloody fantastic! Most comedians only do 1hr 10mins on stage, you do twice them, plus songs!! You and Mr.Bailey are putting most of the UK comedian scene to shame with your COMPLETE shows with light shows, music, great songs and jokes on top! It's surreal, you're brilliant :D Looking forward to purchasing 'Ready for this?' when I have the money XD Keep up the good work dude, looking forward to future projects (saw you had some sort of ochestra jobby, a live show with an orchestra would be AMAZING!) XD XD XD

Sarah on Friday, 1 October 2010

I am watching you now on E4, after having a text basically screaming about the fact you were on tv... You are much loved in Wales, and although at the moment you are talking about people complaining about your swearing, I don't find it offensive. At all. anyway, I love your work mucho, and am now listening to my favourite song of the ten foot cock and few hundred virgins (: LOVE YOU! (and my boyfriend loves you...) xxx ♥

Lucy Blaydes on Friday, 1 October 2010

Hi I hope you read these things. My Husband and I are big fans and thought you might like to know that at our wedding in Aug we played 'you grew on me' at our ceremony as we signed the marriage certificate :-). It was perfect, although not all our guests got it but perhaps it was a bit to much to ask from my gran! Love you loads, Lucy + Adam.

Laura on Friday, 1 October 2010
