Here’s a place you can leave random comments about stuff that you feel isn’t particularly related to the News. Maybe you just want to say hi. Maybe you want to critique a piece of my work. Maybe you want to ask me where I live and come and bring me cookies. Whatever. Stick it in the box down below.

Hi Tim, I have been looking forward to your gig at Glasgow Theatre Royal for months and wrote it down in my calendar for Thursday 27th July (Why!!!!?). The big night rolled around, babysitter organised, Paesano pizza enjoyed, only to turn up at a shut theatre! Gutted!!! A day late and you are in Edinburgh now. No tickets for tomorrow night but any last minute ones available would be hugely appreciated! Angela x

Hey Tim! I'm kind of obsessed with everything you've done, I've gotten super into Matilda the Musical and Groundhog Day the Musical and I've watched all of your DVDs and I just love you as Judas. I'm in a community production of Matilda right now and it's like a dream come true-- When I was young, Roald Dahl, but mostly Matilda, was like my version of Harry Potter. I just wanted to live in the book worlds. Now, it's like I basically do. Also you're the only person who writes tenor lines that are actually tenor lines so thank you for that. It puts the untrained baritones in their place. Anyways, point is, you're awesome, your stuff is awesome, I wish I lived in Austrailia or the UK so that I could see you tour, but also don't listen to all the people who are begging you to basically never stop touring. I'm sure you need a break. Oh, and, if you respond to this in any way, I would really love to know-- Did you really smoke on stage in Jesus Christ Superstar? It's just that the material is so challenging and I imagine it'd be even more so while literally smoking.

Well , Mr Minchin, just for the absence of doubt, ( cos doubt afflicts us all,and me, at any time), I am writing to let you know you are definitely one of the good guys. Another wonderful extra gig in Dublin on 20th July....after seeing you at York. And then on Channel 4, where you looked a little bit nervous ..till you were at your piano ...and a live performance, which was unique .. : 'fucking live tv' . You continue to bring good to the world, and Scotland will love your work., as I do. You have brought such joy and comfort to me. Thankyou so much. Sallyx

Hi Tim! I’m sure you’ll most likely not see this but my psychology teacher, Miss Deal, introduced us to your work back when I was in year 11, I believe it was prejudice she showed us. That was over 11 years ago now and I’m so thankful for her! Being introduced to you did a hell of a lot more for me than learning about the fact I apparently want to have sex with my mother! Anyhow, I just wanted to say, thankyou for everything you do! I definitely will be coming to see you live as soon as I can! P.S “I’ll fuel it with the beats that my heart misses” might be the most beautiful thing I’ve ever heard! Thank you Tim!x

hi tim!! Just wanted to send you a message to say a huge thank you. I have just finished my psychology degree and apart from covid lockdowns in first year, my dad got diagnosed with advanced melanoma in my final year and your music and comedy really helped me to find some enjoyment in each day. This morning whilst waiting for my university results, I listened to Apart Together to calm my nerves, and I ended up getting a first class level in my degree!! Thank you specifically for writing carry you, a song which as a 20 year old I connect to so strongly when I have struggled with my dads diagnosis. So I just wanted to say thank you for doing what you do, and I really enjoyed your show at Nottingham playhouse recently ☺️
