Here’s a place you can leave random comments about stuff that you feel isn’t particularly related to the News. Maybe you just want to say hi. Maybe you want to critique a piece of my work. Maybe you want to ask me where I live and come and bring me cookies. Whatever. Stick it in the box down below.

Oh, and please don’t post links or email addresses, or the spambot filter robot will take offence and refuse to publish.

Hi Tim. Yesterday evening I was sitting in my room with my laptop, chatting with my friends over Skype. I noticed a mosquito trying to find its way out of my window, but failed because of my mosquito net. I noticed the irony of the situation, laughed a bit and told this to my friend. He said: '"there are locks on our doors to keep the bad guys outside, but also to lock ourselves in" or something along those lines, by Tim Minchin'. I asked who this guy was. He said 'some F***ING great dude, bloody genious'. He said I should watch some of his videos on Youtube. So I did. The first one was "If I Didn't Have you". My first reaction was "he looks just like Jack Sparrow" :D I liked the song, it was very funny, and very clever, actually hilarious. My friend suggested to watch "10 foot cock and a few hundred virgins" next, so I eagerly did. It blew my mind. I was hooked. It was brilliant. Halfway through the song I realised I was to be your fan and admirer forever. Good Sir, I so much wish you could sing Inflatable You in my wedding. :) Please keep on making music. Don't you dare to stop.

IT'S A SECRET on Tuesday, 30 June 2009

HELLO <3 I really wish I could come and bring you cookies, but it's a bit far.. they would taste nicer fresh...im guessing. Though I don't really know why I'm criticising my own hypthetical cookies. But damnit, they'd be the best hypothetical cookies ever, fresh or ...un-fresh. I think it would be worth flying to Australia (i assume thats where you live... I should go and wikipedia you *stalks*) just to give you some cookies. That'd be AWESURM C: And I could see Kangaroooooos (yes, i believe that's how you spell it) and Koala bears. AND OMG i could go to Ramsay street! It obviously exists. HAY, I JUST HAD AN AMAYSIN IDEA. I'll go to Ramsay Street first and buy you REAL cookies from the General Store C: I <3 NEIGHBOURS It's so much better than English soaps, they go on for ages.. Like this one guy needed a Kidney for like 6 months. This woman wrote in the paper that she was so sick of that storyline she almost donated one of her own Kidneys. LOL. But anyways, in Neighbours, it moves so quickly! Like the episode when they wiped out half of Ramsay street in a plane crash. Good Times, good times. OMG wikipedia says you now live in London!! O M G. Wikipedia better not have let me down, it has lied in the past...I just don't know if I'm ready to trust it again, it's a big step, you know? Im sure you do. WHY WOULDNT YOU. Im quite tired now, I think I've exhausted myself with obsessive fandom. AND btw, my names Eleanor. It's tertully top secret but i'm guessing most people will have given up by now. If you have continued, you may want to ask yourself why? You should really get out more (says the girl who's writing her life story out on a forum-ish-thing at half ten at night). But srsly, this is quite a novel of, let's face it, spam. But thanks anyway, if you have read this. BYE but seeeeee you (Tim Minchin, duh, not the social-reject that finished reading this post) in BOURNEMOUTH <3 I hope you're signing after the show...if not ima cry. Right now. Yeah i am . Yep. *cries*. But i'll more likely just be waiting outside for a veery long time. BYE P.S. I just felt like adding a P.S. really.

Dear Mr. Tim Minchin, i would like to say that it truly is a pleasure listning to your music, and better to know that you are a polite, learned man, god bless you sir. I, like many others, would wish to one day learn to play your music, and i know that you suggest learning by ear, but i am hard of hearing, so it would be greatly apprciated if you were to publish the sheet music down, or perhaps a tuturial video. your's greatfully

Jase on Monday, 29 June 2009

...mix it with the highly intelligent, witty, grammatically-correct and aesthetically-sublime individuals that constitute the... Very true, kind sir. =D Hopefully I can come to the gig at the Palais this December, although the parents are being hard to get along with. Might get my shirt signed, etc. Will see you then! -Ignorable, Back-door-able Jase.

Kyra on Sunday, 28 June 2009

Hi Tim, You might like to know that we are discussing you on Science a go go, re my post: The Concept of the Whole and Threadism. From what I've seen on You tube, I think you are brilliant BTW

Kim. The Viking on Friday, 26 June 2009

Hi Tim. I really love your songs and your hear:). Have you thought about coming to Norway? You should realle comeback up here and Play some gigs for us up here. If you deside to. Come to Norway, I'll be happy.

Sarah on Friday, 26 June 2009

Hey Tim - I know you get this all the time, but you rule. You're one of my idols (tied with John Cleese and Lano&Woodley) and I love your songs. A boy in my music class sang "Canvas Bags" and "Dark Side" in class, and I thought they were hilarious, and I looked them up. Since then, I've been striving to get as many songs as possible of yours. Almost every night I am on youtube listening to your awesome songs. My mum gets annoyed by the style, but I adore them. Thanks so much for bringing more laughs to my life. If you ever do a concert in Australia (specifically in Victoria) I will try as hard as I possibly can to come see you. xoxo Sazzy

Sinquana Clare on Thursday, 25 June 2009

Wow ! ! Just found your video clips linked from Richard Dawkins' website. Thank god I'm an aetheist. Please Tim, come to Stockton, California. I promise you you won't be disappointed. Ok, actually, I can't make that promise. How 'bout the San Francisco area. That would work. Your message and delivery system has given my life new meaning. Bravo!!

Bev on Wednesday, 24 June 2009

And you'll be bringing your genius to San Diego, CA when?!

Ivar Schloz on Tuesday, 23 June 2009

Hey Tim - you are so f**king amazing. Haven't laughed so hard in decades, if ever. I was also impressed that you knew the age of the universe (though as you no doubt know it is increasingly expanding), and your keen insight into all the angst we scientist/artists are saddled with is non-pareil. Please, please, please come to the USA when you can -- there are still some good people here, even though some of us think Perth might be a better place to live...Cheers, Ivar in Asheville NC.

Mark on Tuesday, 23 June 2009

Tim, you are awesome dude, me and my girlfriend think you're the ultimate. We are on a mission to make sure everyone we know knows about you, and then we move onto the people we don't know (beware strangers) lol..... We're looking forward to seeing you in Cardiff in september, we, know you won't disappoint. All the best to you and the family :)

Rhiannon on Monday, 22 June 2009

... Aha i was going to start with "Hello Mr Minchin" but that really does sound like an evil genius off a cliche` film. so uhm... no i actually had something good. oh whatever, i love your performances, you're a very talented person and though life's tough, i know you will exceed some of the most entertaining people in history. [e.g kick @$$] i'm not going to mention Elvis because his hair scares me but i hope you know what i mean :] i hope you have a nice day... or night or whatever it happens to be when/if you read this ^-^

Hey Tim, Oh mygod I can't believe I am leaving you a comment you may or may not read!! I absolutely love you and you work, You are so incredibly funny and good at playing piano...I wish I could play like that!! If you want cookies Juat drop me a line! I cook so they will be home made lol Amy xxxx

Shhhh on Monday, 15 June 2009

I discovered your music by accident! Now I'm in trouble. I'm forever being told off for singing your songs whilst on duty because not a day goes by that either my husband or I don't play your CDs. So if you hear a copper singing Dark Side and getting told off it's probably me!

Alexandra.S on Sunday, 14 June 2009

Hey Tim, I've been a fan for a while now but since I joined the YouTube community i've discovered so much more of your work & I have to say you're amazing :) I play piano myself but only because I have to & I wish I had as much passion/inspiration/talent as you so I might appreciate the opportunity more than just loathing every minute of it :). I have introduced most of my friends to your songs and we all love you, however my teachers don't quite enjoy our cover of inflatable you in class, they just have no taste :). I'm coming to see you live at parr hall in sept & I've not been this excited since I saw the mighty boosh live around the same time last year, and that's saying something :D. No doubt i'll comment again before the show :). Love your work (& your hair) Alexandra Sproson xx - Stalls : Row U, Seat 17, 4/09/09

Curtis (F'N TONY) on Sunday, 14 June 2009

Hello Mr. Minchin,My name is Curtis,I live in Canton, Ohio U.S.A. and just recently found your songs, poems, and interviews on Youtude and have become addicted to them. Thank you for adding me to your friends list on Myspace. I know it would take alot of time, work, and effort but I would like to see you make another visit to the U.S. and go on tour here. I would definitly come to your show and bring all my frinds along even if I had to buy the tickets myself. You are a brilliant writer and an absolutely amazing pianist, keep up the fantastic work and I will ALWAYS be a fan!!!

Ellie on Friday, 12 June 2009

Dear Tim, Hello there!! My name is Ellie and I absolutely LOVE YOU!! I am booking tickets for your show in Cambridge and MAN am I excited!! Basically I just wanted to say that you and ONLY you (well maybe my teachers a bit but...) helped me through my GCSE's this year, because you make me laugh...actually if I am honest you make me wet myself you are so funny...I know EVERY one of you songs off by heart (I am not a crazy stalker i swear) but have only just come to recognise your particually AMAZING talent because of my friend Maddie...you may know her, she was the one who's mum wouldnt let her go to one of your gigs, but you persuaded her!! We were listening to your music ALL the way to Germany on an exchange in April 09 and well now you are just the most fabulous person ever!! Oh and when we were in Oz, going to a wedding, I saw one of your posters advertising you, and I just knew that would relate to something fab happen in the future...you know when you get that instinct that something is going to happen about this thing soon... well I do =P xxx Don't ever stop writing songs and performing because everybody just loves you too much!! And I just wanted to comment on "White wine in the Sun" because is has made me and my family cry everytime we have heard it. It's a beautiful song with a wonderful meaning and a gorgous melody and accompaniment...you have soooo much talent and I hope you are enjoying your time in England!! See you soon hopefully!! Hope your baby girl is well and happy!! xxx x x x E l l i e x x x

Genevieve Messenger on Monday, 8 June 2009

Hi Tim, My friends Georgina and Jonathan with Mandy Nolan, booked you for the big Joke up north in Bangalow Oz, recently. I was the red head side stage, worried about the lack of good coffee for you! Anyway I'm a fan now (I was ignorant before) and I just want to say I love "Drowned" I think you can be the rock star you've always dreamed of being now! ps I live in a county town in Vic (near Daylesford) and book extremely humble entertainment, if you ever want to try out new material amongst a bunch of bogans !(Well it's not THAT bad) let me know! Or let your manager know)

Jaime on Saturday, 6 June 2009

Hey there, I see others have been looking forward to your guest gig on rage. I however, did not know it was on (I have no social life and like to pretend I do by staying up really late on Saturdays)and came across it. I think your choice in songs is quite fascinating and has led me to this website of yours. I just would like to say the frist three songs I totally adore but (and you knew the but was coming)........ David Bowie should have been before Queen ;-), I know this was probably a slight error on your behalf or perhaps ABC's. By the way adore your work (always has me in stitches) when I see it in TV and now I will look on your website and check when you have a peformance on this way next.(may even find some cookies for you).

Cath on Saturday, 6 June 2009
