Here’s a place you can leave random comments about stuff that you feel isn’t particularly related to the News. Maybe you just want to say hi. Maybe you want to critique a piece of my work. Maybe you want to ask me where I live and come and bring me cookies. Whatever. Stick it in the box down below.

Oh, and please don’t post links or email addresses, or the spambot filter robot will take offence and refuse to publish.

I love your work tremendously and hate that I live in the Midwest, it's hard to travel for a show. I enjoy your humor and find you very sexy. Hope you enjoy yourself and take care.

Most will claim to be biggest fan and I'm sure that some times sounds creepy. I just wanted to thank you for intelligent and witty humour that embraces important issues and questions the bullshit that we all experience. As a musician alone you have shaken the musical theatre world and kicked it into touch. For so long they have rehashed and pathetically forced ageing songs into weak and unimaginative story lines, making my soul die a little every time I taught them. Thank you for Matilda'!A challenging score with awesome lyrics allowing children in the industry to show real talent not just sickly sweet ballet routines. Any way! Now you have done R & G my favourite play to which I hope you bring to the UK as I'm interested to see your interpretation of the character as your Judus left me with a lump in my throat and an air of empathy for the character. Any way im digressing ! I'm planning to Marry this summer this summer well blessing ! And our first dance is to be " grew on me" I'm not sure of the reaction but for me and my guy we couldn't think of a more true and honest song of love and many times sing it to each other whilst washing up:) So another thank you for a beautiful and humble love song which hopefully will just add to our special day in the woods.

Hi, I really your 'Pope Song' and 'The Three Minute Song'. You are really witty and my brother loves your work as well.

Hi Tim, I just wanted to say that after being a huge huge fan of yours for ages I finally bought and watched your rock n roll nerd doco, and LOVED IT. Absolutely loved it. You have such a beautiful family and what you and your wife Sarah share is just amazing and I wish that one day I too can have what you guys have. So if you ever meet a man tat reminds you of yourself, please, send them my way. You already know how brilliant you are musically and ... brainishly? (ie. you're a fucking genius in so many areas its not funny....yet at the same time its wet-your-pants-hilarious) I did also want to add that you are incredibly physically attractive, and you have managed to out-do not only all of the gingers (don't worry I too am a ginger) , but also everyone else i have ever seen/heard/made up. so congrats on being sexy.

You're the guilty pleasure of Utah atheists like myself. Perhaps it's the multiple-wife atmosphere, but the comments on my local atheist forum are about all the women wishing they could be your wives! You're quite the awesome rock and roll nerd, and your music always brings a smile to my face. Growing up in this culture, where even I had a hard time letting go of the idea of being fated to be with a particular someone, only "If I Couldn't Have You" helped me realize the guy I was sure I was supposed to be married to was a fucking prick, so thanks for that. Funny how life improves when you leave the crappy assholes behind, eh? Thanks for your music and know that many an atheist here in Utah appreciates your online presence. I mean, we have to be watching SOMETHING when all of the Mormons are busy covertly watching porn, right? (Utah has the highest rates per capita of internet porn and antidepressant use and is about third or so in number of homosexuals, so that whole Mormon thing is obviously having the intended effect, right?) ;-D

fucking genius! took me a long and seemly endless journey to get to understand that all the crap I was fed as a child, in terms of religious doctrine, was complete utter fucking bullshit. Genius because you put it up there and is fuck funny!!! let not you be deterred. We live in a world where believing in reason and requesting substantial proof for outrageous claims is seen as... some what morally bankrupt. WTF? Go forth and prosper as some crazy person heard 5000 years ago as he watched a burning bush... just.. what kind of bush was that? did he have the munchies after? may the winds fill your sails and .... er whatever comes after that. better yet as the generations to come will hopefully come to say, as the equivalent of "god bless you"...... "Live long and prosper!" (Spock the post-prophet after the "Last Prophet" ..... you know who I'm talking bout...... starting with M and whose image cannot be reproduced or depicted. wow... talk about sensitive

Hi there! Thanks for helping me feel comfortable with my doubts as I was getting away from the religion I was raised in. I was introduced to your stuff just last year, at a point where I needed that. Thanks for the help, I think you're brilliant! Utah, USA

I'd like to compliment you on your film "Storm." I found it to be brilliant and hilarious. Brilliantly hilarious? Or maybe hilariously brilliant. I'm not sure. But thank you for "Storm." I enjoyed it immensely.

Tim, Went and saw Matilda in London last night with my wide and family. Congratulations, really enjoyed it. I have seen your work elsewhere but this was such a delight and in our opinion while the cast deserve the applause, the music is what makes this show dark, edgy, funny, light and reflective. Appreciated. Andrew

I know you'll be bugged for months about this but here it goes: Any chance for another round of US shows? :)

Beck on Monday, 9 September 2013

I'm on a post-show low, having seen Matilda yesterday with my family. Would quite like to see it every day this week, but realise that would be a little bit tragic. Maybe. An absolutely cracking show that everyone should go and see at least once. We laughed, we cried, but mostly we were just enthralled. Nice one, thanks Mr Minchin :-)

Hi Tim! You're my daily brain boost and an absolute rock star! When (if ever) will you come to Romania?

Liz Plourde on Monday, 9 September 2013

Why aren't your DVD's manufactured to play on North American machines? I can not imagine the loss of revenue for you-so many fans here in the USA must be frustrated when trying to purchase your videos -I know I am-how hard could it be to make them compatible? As much as I enjoy listening to you, the beauty of your shows is the visual you supply -the other character- Just wondering Thank you

A couple of post Matilda wines under my belt. It was a joyous pleasure to watch the show, and admire the performances of all the cast. Just magic. Great songs - lyrics to listen to, and tunes to sing on the way home. Well done Tim. I think you are doing a great job, and maybe you could think about coming to the Darwin Festival (August- great weather) sometime. Middle aged fart. Xxx

Michael Glatzmaier on Friday, 6 September 2013

Hello my name is Michael Glatzmaier I am a big fan of Tim Minchin and had a few questions. 1 How did you get started and how did you get your name out there? 2 What was your first song ? 3 How does a musician book gigs ? 4 And do you have any advice on how to become a successful Comedian Musician? I started writing comedy music in high school not knowing there was already a lot of comedy singers. Then my senior year I started singing improv comedy music and a few original songs. A year after I graduated one of my friends listen to me perform an original live song and told me it was really good and told me to listen to your music and right away i was inspired and started writing more and more original music. Now I'm just trying to find ways to make something of myself. Growing up i was in special ed and wasn't good at anything really besides theatre and music and when you tell your parents or people that they just kind of laugh and think you should find a new hobby.I wake up thinking about music though so i won't stop. Sorry for the long story i won't tell all of it but if there any chance you are able to help and give me advice that would be awesome

Hi Tim, Thanks so much for the signed photo for our auction for Henry - www.auctionforhenry.com - being held on October the 12th in Rayleigh to raise money for this gorgeous little boy. We're really chuffed too, to coincidentally have been given 2 tickets for Matilda the Musical, and I'm sure both will help us raise a lot of money for Henry. Tim fans, please bid on them online or come along and bid in person!
