Booked my ticket for your concert in Perth in March last week, cant wait!

Damon on Monday, 30 August 2010

I watched in awe and laughter, your show on E4 and i can honestly say i haven't stopped listening/watching you since. Would you ever come to Plymouth? Although it's pretty much out the way from civilisation, it's a lovely place, and generally, great! If not, i'll go on an adventure to see you. :) I hope you are well, i also hope i can see you in december!

Ian Parker on Sunday, 29 August 2010

Been, a big fan since I accidentally found you on E4. I have just booked my tickets for Manchester in December. I now can't wait.

dave m on Saturday, 28 August 2010

I am looking forward to seeing you in the great old city of manchester on dec the 17th, a year to the day since I was last there seeing depeche mode, so no electro stomp but still a guy with eye make up on stage so hurrah to that.....love you tim and your beautiful view of the world....you rock

I dig your style of wit. I would have written similar comments and nuggets of personalized, self-referencing ridiculousness. Not that I'm one interested in "giving you ideas", which generally means telling you stupid shit and hoping you think its cool and is generally followed with an idea. I'm not gonna daydream scenarios about us being friends or meeting you personally. I'm not going to ask you why you haven't come to my town yet. I just appreciate what you do, brother, and would like to know what I could do, beside facebook-link marketing your material, to support you and your family. I already have some videos, but I'd like some cd's and dvd's. Oh, I'm in America. If I sent you some money, could you send me some? Ebay's really got the hookup. And shipping Air Mail to US was around $11. How do you feel bout me just downloading and burning everything I want and then just sending you a money order or some gold.

Cathryn on Friday, 27 August 2010

Frank on Thursday, 26 August 2010

WTF Tim!!! Why cant I buy any of your stuff here in South Africa or at least over the net from your site ? You Ausies have a permanent grudge against us? When the hell you going to be here anyway? Cheers.

Charlie Wolf on Thursday, 26 August 2010

Hey, hey Tim (or similar) Yeah erm, you helped me with my GCSEs too. It's because of you that i managed to get an A in Religious Studies when I (and everyone else) expected me to get an F. Go Tim! Congrats on the A :) P.S. I didn't use your lyrics in my exam or anything... "which suggests that God's omniscience is nullified by his ambivalence" - "or that there is no reason, other than fear, to believe in any version of an afterlife" is that illegal by copyright? cos thats why i didn't do it ;)

Laura on Thursday, 26 August 2010

tim tim tim... what can i say, i first heard about you in a biology lesson last year and i haven't stopped listening to your music since... is that sad :) pleeeaassee come back to bournemouth i missed you when you were here last year. :( i no all the words to all your songs... ok i admit it i am very sad!!! they definately helped me through my GCSE's!!! the only thing is having canvas bags in your head in an english exam isn't the most helpful of things!!!!! I'll shut up now. :) lover you. :D x

Rani on Thursday, 26 August 2010

Tim, you say you're not discriminating.. But us, Europe fans, would love to see a gig closer to us. I live in Belgium, and I'm not willing to move more than a mile so.. Make it happen! Okay, okay, maybe I'll travel to France. Or bloody Switserland, but get it done! Pretty please?

George on Thursday, 26 August 2010

Tim, your killing me softly.... cant get you lyrics out my head, can you let someone make Karaoke tunes from your masterpieces so humble followers can spread the fun

Simbowski on Tuesday, 24 August 2010

I don't like socks. They're like prison for feet.

Joshua Kreutzenstein on Monday, 23 August 2010

Where might I be able to find the album "Sit"? Is it being sold online? I really want some of that music...

Chris aka weterr123 on Friday, 20 August 2010

Hey Tim, I can play some of your songs, got them on my Youtube channel. As well as your musical genuis, you talk absolute sense, with a hilarious spin on things. You have inspired me to take my piano future career in a similar direction. I would love it if you could check out some of my stuff - who knows, we could maybe do a duet sometime!! I'm on Angry-Feet, and as well as doing a few covers of your songs, I have contributed to other's learning with tutorials and sheet music (on angry-feet) - done inflatable you sheet music except for the fast part of solo - done the dissonance part though and walking bass - feel free to have a look and tweak it!! Thanks in advance, Chris aka weterr123

Pilar on Thursday, 19 August 2010

Hi Tim I just want to say that you're awesome. When I first heard you I said... DAMN, he really can play jazz! You're great. I think you've got the perfect mix with your jokes and your fabolous music. Greetings from Mallorca, Spain

Ann-Kathrin on Monday, 16 August 2010

I can't believe I found out about you only now! You're awesome! Please come to Germany, Frankfurtish or so - I'll be there and I'll bring a friend or two and if that's not enough we'll buy all the other tickets so you don't end up being broke - no wait, I guess it would be cheaper then to fly to Perth or so... Well, maybe other Frankfurters (not to confuse with Wieners!) would like to see you also? Think about it - we've got Beer and Strudel!^^

Fiona and John on Monday, 16 August 2010

Looking forward to the 17th December!

Erin on Monday, 16 August 2010

Hi Tim, just wanted to say how amazing you were at Sonisphere :D definately worth missing the bands on the main stages :)) thank you for playing, even if the crowd was pretty minging xD And I'd wanted to see you for so long, you really made my weekend. (You were half the reason I came to the festival, believe it or not... the other half was Rammstein, but on reflection, I think that you were more awesome.)

OMcS on Monday, 16 August 2010

WHOA! Your online shop has a glitch! I selected "Ireland" (republic of) and it auto-refreshes and changes to "Northern Ireland". Not cool. Love your work though!

Jessi on Monday, 16 August 2010

Why, oh why must all you over-talented fantabulous people be British (or at least living there). Even when you all eventually make it here to the US, very rarely do you make it here to Kansas...and there's more of us here that would show up in droves than you think.

Sarah on Sunday, 15 August 2010

i have found out that your voice is hypnotic to todlers and every time i play canvas bags to my 1 year old nephew he falls asleep instatly you have saved me much time. you have inspired me so much that i am staring to learn the piano i have tickets to you newcastle show and me and my friends are right a the front hope you see us bye

Kelsa on Saturday, 14 August 2010

Hey! Tim you gotta come to Vancouver!!!! it'll be the biggest party since the winter olympics!!! although i dont know if i would be allowed to come anyway cuz my parents might object to that much profanity. It's not that i'm not allowed to listen to your music it's just that my parents won't want to be with me when i do because it's uncomfortable for them to be reminded i'm not five! Sucks to be me!!! but still Canada rocks especially BC.So you should come Eh? ;)

Mickey on Friday, 13 August 2010

It's funny... The more and more I look and dig through your songs and your pictures, I find myself more and more attracted to you, and your tunes... Huh... I know you get a screw ton of these little emails all the time, so let this little one be perhaps a small cheering peanut gallery of the many voices in your head. Mr. Minchin, you are doing a truly incredible job with what talents you have, and you have a truly faithful fan in me. Please don't stop being the voice of reason, reminding us of how small this rock called Home really is. Come to the U.S. I'll be the guy in the front row at any and every show close to NY.

Amanda on Friday, 13 August 2010

Will you ever come to the US? I know there's a TON of people who would be extremely excited if you came out this way, especially to Seattle, WA! Please!

Claire on Thursday, 12 August 2010

With our first baby, a one month old, keeping me awake at night, I was feeling pretty tired and miserable until I saw you on the telly the other night. Your baby jokes/advice eliminated any chance of post natal depression. I laughed so much that at one point I feared my c section scar might open up. Thanks! xx

Jules on Thursday, 12 August 2010

Hi Tim, Just wanna say your make of the Lenoard Cohen song Hallujah with the female artist, makes me weep, I was going to go to Lenoard Cohen when he came to Brisbane, but after hearing you sing htis song have decided to go to your concert in Bris, my partner told me if I could get you to sing at my weddign he would marry me. Stephanie Clark on Thursday, 12 August 2010

So funny. I've been watching and listening to everything I can find online. You are just wonderful and make me laugh. I suppose I am one of the 10 percent of Americans who are not caught up in the religion.

Kelsa on Thursday, 12 August 2010

Hey! I just wanted you to know that I think your songs are extremely funny! My top three are the pope song, prejudice, and rock and roll nerd. Congrats! your good at something!!!!!!

Shawn on Wednesday, 11 August 2010

I hadn't heard of Tim Minchin before I saw him in Toronto last time he was here, but it was absolutely brilliant; and after watching copious amounts of youtube videos he is now my all time favourite comedian/song writer. Come back to Toronto SOON!

Rich on Wednesday, 11 August 2010

Is there anything this guy doesn't do?? He's a genuis!! I particularly love the music/lyrics... clever, original, and one heck of a keyboard player... I hope you last forever, making people laugh with your whacky sense of humour and those totally brilliant songs. (How does it feel going from 40 seat places to 40,000 seat arenas?? Pretty wild I'd guess, but then hey, you have something that people REALLY appreciate... simple as that really...)

JO on Tuesday, 10 August 2010

Love your music! Are you coming to San Francisco? Puh-leeze?

Luciana on Tuesday, 10 August 2010

Even though probably you won't read this message (so why am I still adressing it to you? mmh) I just popped by to say that your work is brilliant, makes me laugh every time and that means a lot to me. Cheers from Argentina. I read a comment from Uruguay so hooray for us stranded-spanish-speaking-countries'-fans out there. I must admit at first I found your accent hard to understand since I'm used to a more "american" accent, but yours kinda grew on me (like meningococcal meningitis). A shame we'll probably never see you playing live here or get your albums, but still it's funny how someone from the other side of the world, literally, knows what you do and enjoys it, hooray for internet too!

Andy Seffron on Tuesday, 10 August 2010

yes i think your brilliant with the piano and i never knew this so i had to ask you how did you learn to play the piano

Jane on Monday, 9 August 2010

Ellie on Saturday, 7 August 2010

I just made some cookies this morning, want to join me to share them? Speaking of, where do you live? Yeah, I just wanted to say hi, and tell you that are my God. No kidding. How anyone can be so intelligent, hilarious, and musically talented at the same time is beyond me, but I'm so glad it's possible. You inspire me to be more. Thanks for being you.

Louise on Friday, 6 August 2010

I would just like to re-confirm that fact that I am absolutely in love with you Tim and everything that you do, you utter utter legend!

Stefania Koops on Tuesday, 3 August 2010

Hey Tim, I am really excited about the Melbourne show in 2011, quickly went out and bought the tickets for myself and my best friend and he and I couldn't be happier. How all is well. Don't work too hard, I wouldn't want you getting sick. Stef x

Caitlin on Monday, 2 August 2010

Ohhh Tim, you ginger legend!! Saw your show in Glasgow in October, one of the best nights of my life!! Love your funny, sometimes sad and heartwarming, but mostly downright hilarious songs. Got my fingers crossed for an Edinburgh show; unless I have missed something important, and there is no longer any chance of an Edinburgh show, in which i will be very sad. *sniffles* Keep up the outstanding work!! Love ya!!

Rachel Mann on Monday, 2 August 2010

Thanks so much for Sonisphere - you made this metal head v happy indeed!

Jonathan on Monday, 2 August 2010

Hey Tim! I just want to tell you how much I appreciate your music and your talent and your honest approach to life. I was raised by evangelical Christian parents and with the notion that faith is everywhere superior to reason... but I was born to be a scientist. (I'm now in grad school doing research on engineering cells so that we can make vaccines better, cheaper, and faster.) Because it took me such a long time to reach the point where I no longer believed in God, I was left alone in my world, surrounded by friends who believe. I felt very alone sometimes, and you can't imagine how much people like you mean to me. I had just accepted that the only way people will come to embrace reason is by becoming scientists, which gave me little hope for the world. By seeing that artists and musicians like yourself can appreciate the same things I do - the joys of science and reason and life and our little planet - you've helped me realize that I was just be a self-pitying wanker and I needed to move on and realize that lots of people are smart and able to see through nonsense when they encounter it. I love your music. I love the laughter it causes. I love seeing the passion in your face when you're doing what you love. And your Canvas Bags extravaganza live concert is beyond words - that lone trumpet is just awesome. Anyway, I just thought I should share some love in case you could use it. Our summer is almost over which means it must be about spring time on your side of the globe! Cheers!

Bethany on Sunday, 1 August 2010

Tim, my hubby and I first heard you on the Jonathan Ross show, and we both adore you! We would love to see a show, however ticket prices "across the pond" aren't cheap! Yep, that's right, we're in America. Wisconsin to be precise. It's a great place, pretty countryside, full of cows, cheese and beer. You should stop by sometime!

James on Sunday, 1 August 2010

Hi Tim and your team First discovered your god given talents last year whilst living in Melbourne, in Nottingham now and have bought tickets for your show in December. Would love to hear Darkside/Not Perfect/White Wine in the Sun on the night, on second thought maybe just one of those, hearing all three would leave me weeping in the aisle for hours. Keep up the hilarious, intelligent, emotional and simply wonderful work
