Here’s a place you can leave random comments about stuff that you feel isn’t particularly related to the News. Maybe you just want to say hi. Maybe you want to critique a piece of my work. Maybe you want to ask me where I live and come and bring me cookies. Whatever. Stick it in the box down below.

Oh, and please don’t post links or email addresses, or the spambot filter robot will take offence and refuse to publish.

I've been holding back, but it's been nagging at me, so even though I'm terribly shy about commenting on stuff, here I go. In The Absence of You, the chord progression under the lyrics 'the space in my bed, is cold as the dead" etc. is so beautiful, made even more so by where it falls in the lyrics. The way it ties into the lyrics and the emotions of that line, the tension that builds up to the resolution at the word "you". It's brilliant. So while I'm crying for all my lost loves, I simultaneously marvel at this exquisite moment. And that's just one thing off your new album, which is bedazzled with moments like this. I'm so glad you exist. Thanks, bunches.

HI I went to church yesterday, (a once in a decade event). During the reading I could only hear the refrain from Jesus Christ Superstar - 'your' version. I was in love with the '74 version, (read obsessed to the point of wearing out the 8 Track my parents bought me). I held that as the 'only' version and could pretty much sing it word for word. Until my friend enticed me to see your movie release of JCSS. Enter a new era and a new standard. Thank you Thankyou Thankyou for giving the world your take on a brilliant musical. Naturally we are listening to it this weekend and hopefully watching it. May you and your family be blessed. cheers Tracey

Sure wish you'd come to Colorado. Specifically, Grand Junction.
