Dear Tim, I loved Matilda the Musical! Every scene was just astonishing! I can't thank you enough for making this musical, and I'd say it's the best of all time! I'd be glad to send you some cookies Tim, so where do you live?

Minna on Saturday, 29 June 2013

Dear Tim, If you came to perform here in Toronto, it would make finding babysitting a lot easier than if you started with Montreal or Alberta. Or Shanghai. But I would still travel.

John on Saturday, 29 June 2013

Just saw Matilda in NY - great show! Come to Montreal soon!

Liz on Monday, 24 June 2013

We would love to see you in Canada! (Alberta especially!)

Samuel Laventure on Sunday, 23 June 2013

Come in North America soon (Montreal would be a nice start !!).

Triz on Saturday, 22 June 2013

Hey! As one of me and my girlfriend's fav comedians we really hope that you come around to mainland Europe in the foreseeable future. Preferably with a new stand up kind of show, but hell, siked for Matilda or JCS too if that'd be the case. Don't leave us hanging here! Cheers, Triz Breda, The Netherlands

I first stumbled your character on Californication. That airplane episode was the best one I've seen and is at the top of my tv moments list. Sadly, I don't think the recorded version of "So Long" sounds as good as it did on the show. Anyway, then I searched and found many youtube videos. Then I searched again and found the "DVD's". Yeah, "DVD's", sorry about that... I don't think I'd find your DVD's where I live. So, resuming the praising, you're quite spectacular and I'll compare your showmanship to Luis de Matos', another favorite of mine in a different art, although in the end both do magic. That's it. I'd like to see Atticus again, but I guess you'll have to do. Cheers from Portugal. Have fun.

Leif Johnson on Saturday, 22 June 2013

Tim all I can say is I love your work. I randomly stumbled onto a video of you on youtube. Growing up I was a big fan of Victor Borga(from my parents influence) and was instantly a fan. All was fun and games until I heard Wine in the Sun. It brought tears to my eyes. Then I saw your version of Hallelujah from Edinburgh. Which is one of my favorite songs. As a child I studied piano but never had the talent to pursue it further. But due to the exposure of the ivory it remains my favorite instrument. Thank you for all the laughs and beautiful songs. Hope you make it to Seattle some time in the near future. Can't wait to see you live, maybe you will play Hallelujah lol! Anyways keep it up I am excited about Jesuschristsuperstar and Matilda as well. Cheers

Come to the USA! Chicago, Milwaukee, Madison, anywhere, I will travel to see you!

Tim Minchin - Love you!! Just discovered you a few weeks ago and have now watched all your You Tube videos and have also told my friends and co-workers to check you out. Can't believe I had never heard of you before . . . your personality and world view are so terrific. With every one of your clips I watch, I'm saying to myself, "Yes, yes . . . that's how I feel, too!" It is so great to learn of someone whose point of view is so clear and wise. Now I'm raving, but can't help it; it's how I really feel. Keep up all the great work, and please, come back to Southern California soon and do a concert for us. You know I'll be there! Thank you for everything.

"Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery; None but ourselves can free our minds." ( Bob Marley) Thank you for being ever so brave and helping to free peoples minds through comedy and the painfully obvious. I heard "Storm" and you hooked me . You helped me, I am grateful. Religious symbols and books ( stories) have such power over people. Thanks for being one of " the armies of the night" working to help liberate minds. Congrats on Matilda. I think..." your future's so bright - your gonna need shades..."

Hello Tim, at first, I have to say, that you're very popular in Poland and some (weird) people here loves you :D I'm still watching your videos and I'm laughing for all the time. Would you give some gig in different country of Europe apart from UK? I just want to tell you that you give me a lot of fun and I'm learning more english, when I'm translating your songs (but I'm happy because my english is still better than your french in The Green Room with Paul Provenza :) ) I know that you won't read my comment it will be lost among the others, but it is a great honor that I could catch a little contact with someone as prominent as you. Thanks, You're my inspiration. Best regards

Zuzanna on Monday, 17 June 2013

Tim's videos are great way to learn swear words in English, thank you, Tim

Hiya Tim! My mum and I, being huge fans of yours, were so excited to hear that you were coming to Melbourne to do JCS! We bought our tickets back in march, booked our leave from work and waited in anticipation! Then we screwed up and got the date wrong and missed the show!!! We were devastated!!! Luckily my husband came to the rescue and got us tickets for the show on Saturday night :-D now, as my mum is vision impaired, we had to use the disability lift to get in and out of the stadium and on our way back from intermission, do you remember the two ladies walking through the corridor who were laughing in shock and astonishment to realise they were right in front of us but Tim "OMG mum! It's HIM!!! Look! Look!" Minchin??? Yup. That was us!!! I'm kicking myself that I didn't grab my phone out and ask for a photo with you!!! We worked out that due to paying for tickets twice to see the show, each second we saw you in that corridor cost is about $10 :-D thank you for making not just mine, but my mums day by being polite and laughing with us as we ogled you like little school girls! Your performance (as well as the show) blew us away and from One thespian to another, I'd like to say Well Done!!! But next time we randomly bump in to you in a corridor somewhere I'm gunna HAVE to ask for a photo!!! Thanks again for making us smile! Xxx Olivia and Kay

Hi Tim, I was at a BBQ today with some friends and acquaintances and one of the guys was telling us he couldn't get the chorus for your Confessions song out of his head. We hadn't heard of you so he explained that you were a comedian/musician who wrote these brilliant songs that were amazingly funny. So when I got home the first thing I did was look you up. And he was right. Love the music and the lyrics. Thanks for the smiles and I will be telling more people about you. Kim

Helen on Sunday, 16 June 2013

Hi Tim, thought you might be interested that an interview with Neil Gaiman was printed in the paper here on the weekend (NZ) and in it he said that after seeing the premiere of Matilda in New York he has been inspired by you to write a musical. Maybe you could write one together? Epic.

Lyn Tatt on Sunday, 16 June 2013

Hi Tim, love, love, loved your performance as Judas in the Melbourne Jesus Christ Superstar this afternoon. Loved the entire show and beside your performance those of Jon Stevens, Mel and Ben Forster were also awesome... now we just need Matilda brought to Australia. Congrats also on the awards Matilda received recently :) Lyn

.......also, paid breathtaking sum for playbill at JCS yesterday. Have framed it on Tim page, along with paper rose petals and tix (awww). Added it to other framed tour posters and tix, which, stepping back, seems a little creepy, but according to playbill blurb, is just "disturbingly passionate"! so it's all OK, then....right?

Mr. Minchin, I just wanted to say Hi... well, Hi, that's it... oh, and I'm from Mexico and I imagine u know this but there's some people here that think your work is great. That's me and 3 or 4 guys I've showed the pope song. Nah, just trying to joke... I guess I'm not very good at it, I'll leave comedy to you, sir. You got my respect and some people from the bellybutton of the moon (that's what éxico means, hehe) wish u all the best... and if I wrote something wrong is because I'm mexican and this is not my mother language, ok? Thanks

Sue McArthur on Saturday, 15 June 2013

Loved the performance tonight. Brilliant staging. Minchin DEFINITELY the star. Although not everyone in the audience fully agreed, as I overheard the woman next to me, when asked by her companion who this Tim Minchin guy is, "I think he won the X-Factor. Not here obviously, or we would have heard of him." So well done on coming so far since you were on the X-Factor, Tim!

kb on Saturday, 15 June 2013

Just got home from the Tennis Centre after JCS. Tim the absolute star. Makes me cry every time he's hanged (surely not a spoiler). Is that Leon Craig as Herod today? Wonderfully camp, a real enjoyment. Cavin Cornwall is one scary talented Caiaphus. Also, I may be permanently deaf after today. Probably worth it.

Tamra on Saturday, 15 June 2013

Tim, I find you so talented, and because of your work, sexy as well. The first thing I saw was Prejudice. I roared with laughter. Then I found out you were an Atheist and loved you even more. I'm an American Atheist. I know, we do exist! Love you in all I've see so far, would love for you to play a few places in Texas, (U.S., I realize you have a Texas in Australia as well) you have fans here. Stay brilliant!!

Toni on Friday, 14 June 2013

Tim, I saw you on Californication, during the past season. When I first saw you, OMG........your character was so freaking annoying. I wanted somebody to just kick your 'rock star' ass. After annoyance, came intrigue with you behind the character. During your role on Californication, one of the channels aired your performance with The Heritage Orchestra. I recorded it to watch it, later. I was watching Californication because of your character, more than anything. I decided to watch your recorded performance. From the first, I was enthralled. OMG....WTF??? Why didn't I already know about you?? Awesome is an understatement. You were a combination of boyish charm, intelligence, rock-star, comedian, with a little self-consciousness thrown in. You might be rather famous......but you seem to still care. I tried to introduce my husband to your brand of comedy, but that didn't work. I really thought he would like the 'ginger' song, because he is a 'ginger'. He thought me a bit mental because I think you are nothing short of brilliant. His Texas mentality could not let you entertain him. I have since watched all of your DVD's...by the way...love you in Jesus Christ Superstar. You are a perfect Judas. I know you are extremely busy with commitments, such as your Broadway hit, Matilda. I would love to see it, and am planning to. I don't know if you are still the guy I saw in some of your earlier performances....the guy who took entertaining, seriously, but didn't seem to take himself too seriously. You seemed to be a good husband and father, and I hope that hasn't changed. I think I've guided some new fans toward you in the last few months. I truly wish you all the best in all aspects of your career, and life. Talent like yours is a gift few are given. You sing of being a rock 'n roll nerd, but I prefer to think of you as a 'ginger' rock 'n roll, comedic 'God'. May you forever reign. Have you ever thought of performing in Texas??? lmao......I know. Take care.

Olga on Thursday, 13 June 2013

Tim, you are really awesome. When i was a teenager, all of my friends had idols, I was the only one who didn't. Now I'm 30, and I feel myself a teenager again, 'cause finally I found my own idol) I admire the way you sing and move, I like your style, I adore your lyrics. And I wish you good luck, and health, and wealth, and fans, and long and happy life, and lots of journeys all over the world with your concerts. And I'd really like to see you in Russia.

Michelle McKim on Tuesday, 11 June 2013

I adore your body of works, in particular your work with The Heritage Orchestra. You are unique as you well know, I respect that and thank you for sharing. As a person who feels that there is little left to be impressed or surprised by, you managed to do so. I am sharing your body of work information with my friends and family who will certainly concur. Thank you for being you and not letting fame take away from that.

Ryan Sossai on Tuesday, 11 June 2013

Hello, I am from Brazil. I wanna to thank you for your work. Your lyrics give me hope and make me fell like I am not alone in this world. That think different is not a thing to be shame about it. I watch you videos on Youtube repeatedly and show to my friends but they usually don't understand the jokes. It would be too much to ask a show here in Brazil?

Angela on Tuesday, 11 June 2013

Dear Mr Minchin I just want to say Thank You. Your work makes me laugh out loud, which few things do. It also makes me weep - not just because of the poignant accuracy with which you pinpoint issues, but also because of my gladness that your thoughtful, intelligent, amusing, insightful, honest, enlightening talent exists in the world. I'm gushing like a mad woman, but I have just listened to 'The Fence' again and...well...it should be compulsory listening for every person in Australia at least once a week...more for News Ltd readers. Thanks. You make me happy. Cheerio, Angela

Hi, My 11 year old son is such a fan of yours. He watches you on youtube all the time. Even though some of your content is not appropriate for a child. He loves music and plays a few instruments. We took our son to see Jesus Christ Superstar in Sydney on Sunday night. He is now even more of a fan of yours. Thanks for showing him that diversity in a perfomer is great and you dont have to pigeon hole yourself to be successful.

Staysha Randall on Monday, 10 June 2013

I recently discovered your music and I just would like you to know you bring joy to my work. My coworkers and I sing your songs between shows to keep our sanity. Woody Allen Jesus is one of our favorites. Thank you and keep up the awesome work. Also, do a show in Vegas!!! PLEASE!!!!

Loved, loved, loved you on Californication and became a fan. I have watched your special on Showtime 4 times this weekend! You are a fabulous and very talented musician, actor and comedian. Keep on rocking...

Paige H. from Sebastian, FL on Sunday, 9 June 2013

I just caught one your shows watching "Showtime" (actually "Showcase", one of Showtime's many channels) purely by accident. What a WONDERFUL surprise!! You are quite talented. I thoroughly enjoyed watching/ listening to you :) You have a new fan! I hope to catch a live show one day, if you ever make it to Florida (Orlando/Central East Coast area). Best wishes for continued success... not that you need it ;) You f*cking rock!!

Andrei G. on Sunday, 9 June 2013

Hi Tim. Just wanted to leave a little message for you. I first saw your act a few days ago online and now I'm hooked. I really love your songs and your way of thinking. You also remind me a little bit about myself in a way after watching the movie about you and your wife struggling in the beginning - me and my girlfriend are around that stage - well the difference is I am more into animating than singing but I'm still in the learning phases and also my girlfriend is not pregnant - but still there is a slight similarity in a way. Hey if you ever want for me to make an animation on any of your songs I'm willing to do that for free - I'm almost 100% sure that you will never ask me to do this but still in case you ever get to read my message and really consider my proposition I would be happy to help. Keep doing what you do and thank you for the inspiration you provide through your work. I also think you are a person with deep thoughts that can bring so much more to the comedy scene. Cheers Andrei from Romania

Jamie Anderson on Sunday, 9 June 2013

Tim, I just wanted to thank you for your stunningly brilliant insight into the various aspects of life, be it religion, relationships, censorship, or what have you. I truly consider you to be one of the greater minds of this world, and am greatly inspired by your work. I compose music myself, as well as play piano, but if I ever come close to being as good as you, I'll consider myself lucky. After watching you perform Storm on YouTube innumerable times (and being able to recite the entire poem at work to get me through the day), I'm unsure I'll ever attain that status, but I can always try. Thank you for the inspiration you provide. Jamie P.S. I'm actually an extremely successful baker, and I'd be glad to bring you cookies, but only if you indulge my curiosity for your alternative views on life.

Had the privilege of seeing JCS in Sydney tonight. Awesome performance Tim, by you and the whole cast. Great job!

Matt on Saturday, 8 June 2013

Hey Tim just saw JCS at 2.00pm today. To you and all of the cast and crew congrats as this production of JCS was brilliant !!! I first saw JCS back in 71 and its great to see that JCS still rocks. It was a moving experience to take my kids to see something that I really found captivating when I was a young bloke. Love your work.

Mark on Saturday, 8 June 2013

Love your music and your "subtext".

Gav, I haven't seen pixies, but I don't believe in them, either.

Gav on Saturday, 8 June 2013

Hi Tim, Enjoyed the TV interview discussing your extraordinary overnight success. LOL. :) Just a thought for you to consider on religion. It amazes me that otherwise seemingly highly intelligent people can dismiss the reports of multitudes of people who have been touched by God, purely because they themselves have not personally experienced it. Cheers.

John B. on Friday, 7 June 2013

Hi Tim. Thank you for your outstanding performance as Judas. You literally saved the show. I've seen other versions of JCS and the current stadium version has many flaws. Your Comedy Gala finale's also encapsulate your brilliant talents. Well done. Do you have any plans to tour regional NSW? I look forward to more of your performances in the future. Warmest regards, and keep up the great work!

Sophie on Friday, 7 June 2013

Tim! I love your songs and comedy and generally you so much and you need to come back to Australia (or at least just Melbourne) so that I can see you live cause that would be brilliant and did I mention I love you?

Alex on Thursday, 6 June 2013

Hey, Tim! I've listened to all your songs after watching Californication and you're a fantastic singer, artist and actor! I wonder if we'll have a chance to listen to the full version of the song So Long (As We Are Together) (acoustic). I'm absolutely sure that it will be a bomb! Thank you for your talent!

Fiona on Monday, 3 June 2013

Hi Tim, Our family are great fans, particularly our children. We read your recent SMH article. Didn't realise that you have West Australian connections - always thought there was something extra special about you! I knew your Mother Ros, we studied together in 1967. I met your Father a couple of times. We can't chose our parents, but you certainly won the lottery when you got yours! We are based in Canberra. Our daughter's a drama queen! She's into drama, dance, both classical and modern, music - piano, clarinet and singing and won her junior school's performing arts award and others since then. Her grandmother taught speech and drama at St Mary's at Karrinyup. The talent skipped a generation! She's completing an Arts degree but we're sure she'll head back to the stage. Both of our children have a wicked sense of humour! Our best wishes to you and a huge thank you for your contribution.

Kathleen Ford on Sunday, 2 June 2013

Hi Tim, I'm reticent to admit that you and your work are new discoveries for me. I stumbled upon your song about wanting to spend some time with Jonathan Ross's wife and I was hooked. I'm hoping I can get a ticket to "Mathilda" but it being a smash and all, it's doubtful. I'm keeping my fingers crossed however that the arena tour of "Superstar" will find its way to the States. I know I'm late to the party in praising your work but better late than never. You're amazing and so brilliantly talented I'm looking forward to everything you have in store for us. Kind regards, Kathy

Ben Todd on Saturday, 1 June 2013

Hi Tim or whoever is reading this if anyone. My name is Ben Todd I am 17 years of age I live in Perth western Australia and I go to Guildford gramma school. I love your work and have done all my high school life and have annoyed my school many times with my own Tim minchin performances. I even welcomed the new head of music by playing dark side infront of the school where I got in trouble for jumping on the piano. What I'm trying to say is I really want to meet you and show you what I can do. I feel I have potential and I want to show you. I'm a singer/dancer/actor/pianist. So please email me so I can send you a video of me playing. Thank you.
