Studio 360 is an American public radio programme about the arts and culture hosted by novelist Kurt Andersen. On the weekend of the Tony Awards Kurt meets some of this year’s Broadway stars, including Tom Hanks, and talks to Tim about writing the music and lyrics for Matilda The Musical which has TWELVE Tony nominations! Tim also takes his place at a grand piano to perform a few songs from the show.
You can listen to Tim’s segment right now, if you like, by streaming or downloading the podcast here.
There’s also this lovely video of Tim performing “When I Grow Up” at the shiniest piano in the world!
