Tim’s been revealed as one of the bakers on The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer!

The celebrities will enter The Great British Bake Off tent to face the signature, technical and show-stopper challenges across five episodes. In each episode four celebrities will battle it out over three rounds in a bid to be crowned Star Baker.

So… is Timmy gonna be bringin’ home the gingerbread or will he be left flailing in a floury flurry?

Taking part are: Tim, Teri Hatcher, Stacey Solomon, Ruth Davidson, Roisin Conaty, Ricky Wilson, Perri Kiely, Nick Hewer, Melanie Sykes, Martin Kemp, Lee Mack, Kadeena Cox, Joe Lycett, Jamie Laing, Harry Hill, Griff Rhys Jones, Ella Eyre, Bill Turnbull, Alan Carr and Aisling Bea.

Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood will be judging, with Bake Off hosts Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig on hand to delight in the glorious successes and epic fails as the pressure builds.

Stand Up To Cancer is a joint national fundraising campaign from Cancer Research UK and Channel 4.

The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer will air later this year on Channel 4.

If you look really closely at the trailer (don’t blink!) you might spot ‘someone’ looking very focussed on a blue piping bag:

UPDATE (22/02/18): The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer kicks off its five-episode run on Tuesday, March 6th at 8pm.

I cannot believe that you are returning to England to be part of The Great Celebrity Bake Off on British TV. You mustn’t mistake your cook book for the Good Book! Trust you to do something for such a good cause. I think your many fans in England thought that with you moving back to Australia, we might never see you on these shores again……and now Latitide! We were there the last time as we live close by but could not see you due to the crowds even though we had been waiting for hours! Hope better luck this year. You will be welcomed back in England’s Green and Pleasant Land. Yippee!

Tim, Noel, Harry Hill and Joe Lycett, the forces of all that is good in the world, making cakes. I try to keep politics away from cake, but Ruth fucking Davidson will say ‘let them eat cake’ at some point during the show when there won’t be a guillotine for miles.
