Tim’s beguiling forelocks and naked toes will be gracing your screens for his third coming on Conan this Easter Monday!

On 9th April, Tim will be joining his fellow ginger, Conan, and appearing alongside Glee star, Cory Monteith, and Dodgers center fielder, Matt Kemp, on tbs at 11/10c.

Previous appearances on the show have had Tim performing Inflatable You and Prejudice, so perhaps this time he’ll be sitting down with Conan for a conversation as well as showcasing his lyrical trickery and musical masterstrokes!

If you’re in Canada, you can catch this on The Comedy Network at midnight on the 9th/10th April and if you’re in Australia, you can watch this on GEM at 11:30pm on 11th April.

Oh, and if you’re in SoCal, don’t forget, Tim’s doing two gigs and an in-store performance in your area in the next week!

The National Trust’s first ever outdoor comedy event ‘Trust In Comedy’ will feature Tim performing with a larger band than usual, including, as ever, the ruggedly handsome* Brad and Pete – we’ll announce more info on this as soon as we can. It takes place at the National Trust’s Belton House in Grantham, Lincolnshire, on Friday 15th June at 8pm.

The setting will have a spectacular backdrop, with the stage set in front of the main house.

There is no assigned seating, so you should bring your own picnic rugs, blankets or chairs. There will be food and drink on sale but you can also create and take your own awesomely sophisticated picnics. (CHEESE! WINE!) However, there are strict rules and restrictions with regards to umbrellas, gazebos and BBQs etc so for further information about this please visit www.belton-proms.org.uk or telephone 01476 566116.

Tickets are available now from Grantham Guildhall on 01476 406158 or nationally via www.belton-proms.org.uk and www.seetickets.com on 0871 220 0260.

Tim: “I like big old stuff so I’m looking forward to this big old gig in front of a big old house”.

Brad & Pete: “We like big old hair so we’re looking forward to Tim’s big old barnet doing a big old gig in front of a big old house. Yee haw!” **

Unfortunately, we have to announce that this year’s Sonisphere festival at Knebworth is cancelled. Below is a statement from the promoters.

It is with very heavy hearts and much regret that we announce the cancellation of Sonisphere Knebworth 2012.

Putting the festival together in what is proving to be a very challenging year was more difficult than we anticipated and we have spent the last few months fighting hard to keep Sonisphere in the calendar.

Unfortunately circumstances have dictated that we would be unable to run the festival to a standard that both the artists and that Sonisphere’s audience would rightly expect.

We want to express our deepest regrets to the artists and to thank all the staff, suppliers and contractors who worked so hard with us to try and pull off what has proven to be an impossible task and we know how much they share in our disappointment. We also want to send a huge thanks to the Sonisphere fans who stuck by us and we are so sorry that we can’t fulfil what we set out to do.

Ticket holders will automatically receive a full refund direct from their ticket agents.

Team Sonisphere.

Tim will be rocking up, in some natty attire and with that hair of his, to do a 30 minute in-store performance at Amoeba Music in LA, on Tuesday, April 10th at 6pm. He’ll then hang around to do some signing.

You’ll need to purchase a copy of Ready For This?, Tim’s first US DVD/CD release, that night at Amoeba ($15.98) in order to participate in the signing but you’ll also get a free poster and you’ll be able to get one additional item signed, be it the poster, a canvas bag, a… banana or whatever takes your fancy.

This is likely to be a very popular event, especially as there’s no age limit, so it might be wise to get there a bit early to ensure a decent view.

Tim will be joining the lovely and hilarious Richard Herring, as the first guest, in his new London run of Podcasts at the Leicester Square Theatre on Monday 7th May 2012.

Richard Herring, who recently held on to his Chortle Internet Award crown, will be bringing his extremely popular iTunes chart topping Edinburgh Fringe Podcast to London’s Leicester Square Theatre for eight shows May – June. Typically it involves topical humour, comedy chat, improvisation, prizes and more. So, if you fancy seeing Tim jousting* with a fellow comedy knight, fashion icon and facial hair aficionado head along to the podcast recording.

If you can’t make it to the show, due to pesky geography or something, you’ll be able to catch all the episodes on iTunes and the British Comedy Guide.

Tickets and further details can be found here.

* There may not be any actual jousting due to the logistics involved.

Tim has been announced on an astounding bill of comedians for Scope’s Big Comedy Night on 20th May 2012 at Hammersmith Apollo in London!

Tim will be joining Richard Herring, Al Murray, Francesca Martinez, Doc Brown, Hal Cruttenden, Milton Jones and more for a night of japes in aid of the charity, Scope.

The idea of holding a comedy event in support of disabled people came from disability rights campaigner Nicky Clark, who worked with fellow Scope supporters Richard Herring and Francesca Martinez to help the charity secure the line-up.

The event will raise funds for Scope’s work to support disabled people and their families to have the same opportunities as everyone else.

Tickets are on sale now and can be bought from HMVTickets and Ticketmaster!

Matilda the Musical has earned itself a whopping ten nominations for this year’s Laurence Olivier Awards, which is the maximum for which it was eligible, including Best New Musical!

The four young actresses playing Matilda – Sophia Kiely, Eleanor Worthington Cox, Kerry Ingram and Cleo Demetriou – are up jointly for Best Actress in a Musical, while Bertie Carvel and Paul Kaye are up for Best Actor in a Musical and Best Performance in a Supporting Role in a Musical, respectively.

Other nominations go to Matthew Warchus for Best Director, Rob Howells for Best Set Design and Best Costume Design, Hugh Vanstone for Best Lighting Design, Peter Darling for Best Theatre Choreographer and Simon Baker for Best Sound Design.

The Olivier Awards are the UK’s most prestigious theatre awards, recognising excellence in professional theatre in London shows. They’re often considered to be the theatre industry equivalent of the BAFTA Awards or the UK equivalent of Broadway’s Tony Awards.

The awards will be handed out on the 15th April, at the Royal Opera House. The ceremony will be broadcasted live on BBC Radio 2 and on the BBC Red Button services – who knows, you might even see a nattily dressed Tim (on the TV, not the radio)!

You can view a full list of all the awards and nominees on the Olivier Awards website here.

Huge congratulations to Tim and everyone at Matilda the Musical on this phenomenal news!

Tim is to perform at The Secret Garden Party 2012, as it celebrates its 10th birthday, at Mill Hill Field in Abbots Ripton on the 19th to 21st July. He’ll be joined on stage by his distinguished band, Pete Clements and Brad Webb. Collectively they’ll surely have no trouble at all in complying with the Arts & Expression theme for this year: “Standing On Ceremony” despite all three being seated for most of the show…

Tickets are now being sold on a tiered system and they are available here.

More information can be found on their Facebook page and the full line up is on the festival website www.secretgardenparty.com

Tim will be pottering over to the Kew Royal Botanical Gardens with his not-at-all-weedy band, Pete Clements and Brad Webb, on the 5th July 2012!

The show is part of their summer series of events, Kew The Music, and Tim will be a special guest to Pink Martini, who are a thirteen member ‘little orchestra’ that draw their inspiration from the romantic Hollywood musicals of the 1940s and 50s.

Other shows in the series include Status Quo, Will Young, Gypsy Kings and M-People. Details of these shows and tickets purchasing information can be found on the Kew Gardens website.

Next month Tim will be heading to two more cities in Southern California to inspire, amaze and awe their residents with the perfect combination of lyrical trickery, sexy dance moves, skin-tight jeans, wonderfully coiffed hair and magical piano skills!

If you’re in the area, you’ll be able to catch Tim in Santa Barbara, at the Lobero Theater, on the 11th April 2012 and in San Diego, at the Balboa Theater, on the 12th April 2012.

Tickets for these evenings of hi-jinx and stupid songs go on sale on 9th March at 10am, however, there are presales happening for both shows – the San Diego one has already started and the Santa Barbra one is from tomorrow at 10am! The password you’ll need in both cases is SAXOPHONE. You can grab your Santa Barbara tickets from the venue’s website and you can buy your San Diego tickets from Ticketmaster.
