Tim: “I’ve just moved back to Australia after 12 years living overseas, and the first stage I get to play on is a spanking new, world-class amphitheatre on the beautiful Gold Coast! It’s a hugely exciting venue in a part of the country I’ve not been to in years. Can’t frickin wait.” (more…)
Tim will play Chihoohoo in Nathan Jurevicius’s upcoming animated movie Arkie. He joins, already announced, cast members Shailene Woodley, Jai Courtney and Andrew “King Bach” Bachelor.
Arkie is a fantastical adventure about an inventive and inquisitive young girl, Arkie (Woodley) who must leave the safety of her home and embark on an epic journey to the dazzling but dangerous metropolis The City Of Light to rescue her father Blister from the clutches of the evil scientist Dr. Maybee (Courtney).
Chihoohoo (Tim), a hybrid Chihuahua, is a baddie! Boo hiss! He’s one of Dr Maybee’s sly underworld contacts, a ruthless underworld lord who controls The City of Light’s lucrative black market.
Arkie will be on a big screen near you in late 2019.
Arkie was created by artist Nathan Jurevicius (the award winning talent behind the Scarygirl graphic novel and video game). To see additional images and learn more about the film and the team behind it, head over to @arkiethemovie on Facebook.
Yesterday, Tim was in Adelaide, celebrating the brand new Walk of Fame promenade, overlooking the River Torrens and the reopening of Adelaide Festival Centre’s updated Festival Theatre.

The first episode of the new six-part comedy series Squinters, created by Adam Zwar and Trent O’Donnell, airs Wednesday 7th February at 9pm on ABC with ALL episodes available on ABC iView, if you wanna binge.
The series tracks the lives and aspirations of five carloads of rush-hour commuters from Sydney’s western suburbs, as they drive to work together in the morning and return home again in the evening, finding out how their workdays went in the meantime.
Tim plays delivery driver Paul, who starts an eco-carpool with his secret crush Romi (Andrea Demetriades) from Marketing. She’s the woman of his dreams and she thinks he’s kinda cute but she’s a little wary of her new car-buddy…
Last night, Tim performed White Wine in the Sun, with Iain Grandage’s beautiful strings arrangement, on The Late Late Show with James Corden (guest host Bryan Cranston):

Tim says: “I’ve always loved Adelaide. From playing with Eddie Perfect at the Cabaret Festival, through shows in tents in the Garden of Unearthly Delights, to playing with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, to having Matilda the Musical play at Adelaide Festival Centre, I have always loved the gigs, the audiences, and the place. It’s a huge honour to be represented star-shaped in your pavement.”
The prestigious Walk of Fame will initially include more than 130 names and will be extended annually. A full list can be seen here.
Hey! It’s that time again and as in previous years, all November, December and January profits from the sale of Tim’s beloved sentimental Christmas song, White Wine In The Sun, will go to The National Autistic Society. The NAS provide support, information and services for people with autism and their families and campaigns for “a better world for people with autism”.
We’re delighted to reveal the cover of the US edition of When I Grow Up, the magical new picture book inspired by Tim’s hit song from the multi-award-winning Matilda the Musical. The book imagines life from a child’s viewpoint, with all the humour and poignancy of the song.
The US edition will be published on March 27th, 2018, by Scholastic Press US.
When I Grow Up is illustrated by Steve Antony, an internationally published, award-winning author and illustrator of many picture books, including the Mr Panda series.
Each cover, for the three editions, is slightly different but infused with the same playful energy and imagination for which When I Grow Up is so beloved.
You can take a look at the UK edition cover and publication details here and the Australian edition cover and publication details can be found here.
